Beautiful location and property. It was in the perfect spot, walking distance to the beautiful falls & shopping. I had messaged the staff a few days prior, in hopes of surprising my fiancé for his 30th birthday. The staff went above & beyond decorating the room for us. It may not seem like much, but the fact they went out of their way to do such, meant a lot. Goes to show management truly cares about their guests! You also cant beat a free, delicious breakfast! 😊

Honestly, there was not much I didn’t like about the property. The location was old, and one of the reasons I chose the hotel. I love the “old timey, haunted vibes”. Some of these reviews are upsetting, it’s important to remain open minded, and respect culture! This is not your “5 star luxury” resort, but it is 100% worth it.

We had a lovely view of the Muskoka River, and the bed was very comfortable. While this is an older building, they have done an excellent job at updating the rooms. We only stayed one night, but would definitely stay in Bracebridge for 2 or 3 at this hotel. If your room does not have a view of the river, they do have a very nice deck and sunroom overlooking the river, while you enjoy a continental breakfast.

The hotel does not have cable, but they do have WiFi and free Netflix provided. The only issue with this is that the WiFi was quite slow in our room, so the movie never loaded for us unfortunately. For us this was not an issue, as we did not spend much time in the room apart from sleeping.

we really enjoyed our time at the hotel. the Staff was always kind also the breakfast was delicious with good options.

When we arrive we realized the paper toilet was almost to finish so even though there was a new one but when you see something like that give you the impressions that somebody just used it or the bathroom is not clean. coffee maker was a bit complicated to handled and there weren't instructions. the restaurant is quite pricey due to the taste. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great and not fresh talking about mussels.

Inn at the Falls is by far the most appealing hotel option in Bracebridge: the ideal accommodation for those who are looking for homey, bed-&-breakfast ambience married to creature comforts more typical of chain hotels. This property has a vintage look without and within, yet the rooms in its “Mews” building are fresh and up to date, spacious yet cozy, with comfortable, wall-to-wall carpeting rather than unpleasant tile or hardwood flooring. The real draw of this lodging, though, is the fact that the rooms feature porch-like balconies offering a splendid view of the Muskoka River. A short, two-minute walking path leads directly from the hotel to the ruggedly picturesque Bracebridge Falls, which, along with the town’s other famous cataracts, make Bracebridge competitive with Huntsville as the ideal base from which to explore Muskoka. Parking is free, though one very much wishes that the lot were paved rather than gravel surfaced. The friendly and accommodating staff can help one turn a work booking into a veritable vacation stay. If you are travelling through Muskoka — and especially if you plan to lodge in Bracebridge — this is where you want to be.

The biggest shortcoming of the Inn at the Falls is in the breakfast department. While the property does stipulate that it only offers a “continental breakfast,” the options are unusually limited for a hotel at this price point. The breakfast room even lacks a microwave in which to warm up one’s cereal milk, and the lighting is difficult to engage, which means that in the winter, one could find oneself breakfasting in a rather dark and chilly environment. Note too that for a stay of several days, one has to put in a special request for housekeeping services, even garbage removal. But these are minor issues when weighed against the hotel’s many positives. I greatly enjoyed my stay here and would gladly return, whether for work or for pleasure.

Inn at the Falls has the rustic feels. Each room is named after the former owners. The room had a beautiful dark wallpaper and the bed had 4 posts to replicate the original design. The bathrooms are updated with rustic touch points like brass facets and mirrors. Our room had a fridge, microwave and Keurig machine. The breakfast included bagels, croissants, muffins, cereal, yoghurt, jam, peanut butter, coffee and tea. The staff was friendly and accessible at all times.

The location and property was breathtaking. So glad there was an option to get a room with a Lakeview and a balcony to enjoy it. It was worth the extra cost! Rooms were clean and they even set up a tiny mattress for our little girl. Staff were so accommodating and friendly. It was our daughters birthday & her first sleep away from home. The owners went above & beyond by getting her a birthday card. This was incredibly thoughtful. So special for her & makes a amazing keepsake from her first official trip. We were both surprised & so grateful for this extremely kind gesture.

Having a 2yr old with us, it was a bit difficult to get down the stairs to our room with all of our stuff. Would've been great if their was a ramp vs having to lift everything up & down. We liked that a continental breakfast was offered but when we went there shortly after 8, there was already no cream or milk left for coffee or cereal. No water for the coffee maker either. And no staff on site yet to help with these issues (altho there was a # that we could call.) Having an ice machine available at the property would've also been appreciated..

A historic building in Bracebridge with plenty of charm and a very nice view of the Muskoka river. Private outdoor balcony with table and chairs for 2. Very friendly and helpful staff. Netflix Television. Great location just a few minutes walk to the falls or shopping on Manitoba street. Nice little Italian restaurant right on the premises.

Since the inn shares parking with the restaurant on the premises, when the restaurant gets busy, parking becomes challenging for the guests. The attendant informed me of the situation ahead of time and said that he would move his own car if there were no parking spots left. Really can't ask for better customer service than that.

Breakfast was good continental. Location was ideal near downtown. Room was comfortable. Lounge areas were nice to be in with our friends. Staff was very pleasant

The information in the room was not adequate. No directions on how to reach reception by phone. No information on when restaurant was open or what the menu was. Television was by internet not cable, could not get live news or TV shows. Did include Netflix but had no interest in staying in our room just to watch a movie

The staff was very friendly, the bed was very comfy and the location very good!

Breakfast was very basic, not so many options. Also we had to stay in a very tiny room and my kid had to sleep on a thin mattress on the floor. Although the reservation in Booking allowed 3ppl in the room, not all rooms at the hotel are a good fit for 3 ppl. The hotel said that they cannot change this feature at Booking website, so it's good to message them to check if your room is large enough for 3 ppl if that's the case.

Such a sweet little hotel in a brilliant location beside the river. It has a wonderful Italian restaurant attached to it, which is a little pricey, but worth it. Our room was charming and very spacious and the bathroom was a good size and decorated really nicely. The staff were lovely too!

Breakfast was a little underwhelming, but still tasty and it was nice to sit and drink coffee whilst looking at the wonderful view.
