Wyndham Garden at Niagara Falls

It's very close to the Niagara Falls State Park. We stayed there when we visited 3 years ago. The staff is very friendly. We had a shower that wasn't draining & they upgraded us to a very nice suite. It was very much appreciated.

The cleaning staff needs to do better especially since they are only cleaning the rooms between visitors. Also, it definitely needs some repairs and updates. The carpets in the hallways are dirty. When we visited 3 years ago they didn't charge for parking & breakfast was included. This time they charged $19.95/day for parking and if you wanted breakfast they were charging $19.95/pp per day.

The location was prefect. We were able to walk to all our destinations.

The front desk agent lacks personality, she doesn't greet and seems bothered. I checked in explaining I had reservations for 2 rooms, she insisted I only had one. Secondly, I was told that I would be charged at time of check in, I was charged for the 2 rooms before I arrived at the hotel. I time of check out, we were checked out by the same young woman, once again, attitude, no greeting, no thank you, no nothing. I don't look forward to be treated like a queen, but a simple good morning goes a long way. Lastly, the carpet needs to be cleaned; it smells.

Hotel was very conveniently located and walking distance to the state park and views of the falls. Our room was large and clean, small toiletries and tea/coffee making facilities provided, as well as a fridge and microwave. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Downstairs bar and lobby area looked very nice although we did not use them.

The walls are quite thin so we could hear the TV of the room next door. No maid service which was no problem as we were only there for two nights, but it means tea and coffee were not replenished. After checkout we noticed we’d been charged for parking for two nights but we did not have a car - hotel quickly refunded and apologised for the error so no problem, but just advise any guests to double check their payment!

I really liked the customer service, the guys that worked the front desk were great and super helpful. The room was not bad, really liked the closeness to Niagara Falls park. Parking was great. The amenities were great. Great for families.

I didn’t like the breakfast, too expensive for what you got. Not the best breakfast. Staff at the restaurant was not very friendly. The pool needed some cleaning and the handle to get into the pool needed fixing, my husband had temporary fixed it, but we were just glad there was a pool!

The location of the hotel is great right next to niagara falls - 5 mins walk to be precise. You get a wonderful view from your room of the canadian skyline and its really good at night. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. A perfect stay with walkable access to all the nearby places and especially niagara falls state park.

We had booked a king room but were informed that it's not available due to some issues and were put up in double queen room, no consideration for accommodating into a different king room, it is hard to believe that they have only one king room. We had to pay the same charge as that of king room inspite of knowing that the charges are different for king and double queen room but they didn't comply, no water filling stations and no complimentary breakfast available except for the Starbucks cafe.

Day time Front desk staff was superb. I arrived super early and even though I knew I wouldn't be able to get a room, the young lady who helped me was GREAT. I was able to park, get a parking pass and then come back and check in when it was time, and then have the parking added to my room. She was knowledgeable smart and friendly.

No vent in the bathrooms. Tubs in both rooms needed some upgrades Booked 2 rooms with 4 teenage boys, a vent would be wonderful, seeing that it's a hotel and you cannot open windows. It's also 2022 so I think the next time the hotel plans to upgrade it's rooms, re doing the bathrooms would help. Instrqd of pat hing the chips on the tubs, a good replacement would work and install a dual exhaust fan and light system.

Clean and comfortable room. Great view of Canadian skyline and nightly fireworks. Able to buy great tour package in Lobby (Gloria was awesome). Staff very friendly.

Fire Alarm went off multiple times1 night (though it didn't for our area and should have, we found out from other guests). Some general upkeep lacking, like baseboards falling off, bathroom door doesn't close all the way. The restaurant was not serving any kind of real menu and Starbucks was also lacking food items. Market not well stocked or replenished, so all food had to be bought off site.

It was so close to the falls and walking distance of great restaurants. David was very helpful and making sure we knew the easiest ways to the falls. Rooms very nice and clean!! Great air conditioner, comfortable bed, shower nice and powerful.

The Starbucks and bar area was not organized or clean their was dish and trash from the night before on the tables and the area you do your coffee was disgusting. The 2 Starbucks employees were nice but the area was not clean especially the food case and sugar area. I ended up throwing out my coffee and banana nut bread because I was grossed out. The pic below shows the coffee area and some of the tables with dishes and trash on them. This was 7:03 am I was their first customer. But the rest of the hotel was excellent and staff was the nicest ever.

Amenities listed were inaccurate - Restaurants and Starbucks not open a single day during stay at property - Forcing you to pay to park in an empty lot is NOT how you treat a guest staying/paying for a week in a king suite

location was nice. walking distance to the fall. the stuff was amazing. the room was remodeled, its decent. bed was sooo comfortable. the view of the fireworks every fri,sat was a nice touch.

first room we got looked like it never been cleaned,i let staff know they switched to another room.that one was cleaned. 19.99 extra per day parking is stupid should be included.elevator is sketchy. alot of noises and disnt come level to the floor. other then that i loved it
