great sized room, friendly staff and perfect location made this a great stay. the bathroom fixtures were above average. and the location made it a quick walk to everywhere we wanted to go, Parliament, the national art gallery and byward market.

our room didnt have a view but i was offered the choice of view or size. we would be out seeing the sites so i chose size over the view. so this ones on me. the hotel itself was very accommodating. the parking situation was a little restrictive but i found a decent covered pay garage within walking distance

Location was ideal with walkable distance from parliament hill, restaurants and city area. The room was small but clean and decent. The lounge was lovely and the bar tender was very kind in catering, even though it was almost closing time.

The supervisor/manager at the reception was rude. He mocked at us as we were struggling to find the parking access key box (“How can you not find it? Have you never parked in a garage? Where have you come from? Is this your first time in Canada?”). It was late in the night after our long drive of 7 hours. We were shocked that the hotel manager was speaking in that tone with us as his guests. Though the rest of the hotel staff was very polite and friendly.

The location is perfect, the room was excellent, the staff were helpful and friendly - excellent service and a great room.

The parking leaves a lot to be desired and the cost for parking should have included a valet. Similar hotels in Ottawa offer a valet for the same price (or lower) (Le Germain). I would have enjoyed an evening bar for a drink, rather than the fairly non-descript family restaurant that closed in the evening.

Location close to Union Station. Staff very helpful, allowing us to store a significant amount of luggage when we checked out so we could wander the city until flight time. The staff also arranged that we could stay in the same room, instead of switching when we had to extend our stay

One day the room was not cleaned (garbage not emptied). A bag of receipts we were saving and had stored in the open front night table was removed from our room. (NOTE: The regular cleaning staff were wonderful. It appears the problem was with call-in staff) The laundry soap is quite scented The washer/dryer combination is okay for washing, but we were afraid to dry things as the temperatures were very high and we were afraid it might destroy the elastics in our clothes The underground parking is expensive (but equivalent to the cost of parking at other hotels in the area). There is a small open lot which is free, but it was full when we wanted to park

The room was really lovely; the location was perfect for me as it was just a couple blocks away from the AVIS rental car location where I had to return the rental car; but above all - the staff were the most amazing!!

Sadly, the restaurant and bar was not open which was disappointing as I had planned on eating and drinking there before tucking in. They still offered room service for food, but I had to walk 5 blocks to get a bottle of wine.

The room was large but a little dated. There were dressing gowns in the closet which was a nice touch. The staff was so lovely, helpful and friendly I can't say enough good things about them. The location was good but a little far from the Byward Market and Parliament but it was raining so that might have caused us to think it was a longer trek. A good hotel that I would stay in again when I'm in Ottawa.

The rooms could use an update including the bathroom. The bathroom itself looks like it hasn't been renovated since the 90's and the television could have been a bit bigger.

The location is excellent; everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. Also, the staff were very helpful when we needed to make a change, and were always very helpful with questions.

There could be a few improvements- really small ones, but details matter. I wanted to call the desk one night when there were some people banging on our door, but couldn't find the button on the phone. Also, some information about hotel facilities (so I didn't have to ask where the fitness room was) and a pad of paper and pen would have been helpful. Finally, a laundry bag would be useful; we stayed for six days, so needed it!

When you arrive at a hotel you always expect to have a good treatment from the staff, and indeed that is what we received, exceptional treatment, we had to leave our luggage for a moment because we had an important meeting after our check out, and they were super nice to allow us to leave it and then pick up the luggage, breakfast was delicious too, as well as the very nice restaurant.

The bed was soooo comfortable and the room was clean and overall just really nice. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Location is right downtown and within walking distance of everything!

I wasn’t aware that parking is only at a garage behind the hotel (not connected) which took me forever to actually find plus you have to pay an extra $25 for it.

The location was very good for the pourpuses of my visit, I was expecting that the breakfast were included, but after try it, find out it was not, but not problem wirh that.

If you include a breakfast buffet or some kind of, with your rate offer, but, I do not know if a messure like that will be feaseble for you,
