The location of this hotel is ideal for visiting Parliament Hill Square and the Rideau Canal or Centre. It's perfectly located for sightseeing in Ottawa and only a short taxi ride from the train station. Every member of staff we encountered from entering to leaving the hotel was polite, thoughtful, and helpful. In particular, Ana, on reception, was outstanding. She noticed during our conversation that it was our wedding anniversary and also noticed we had mentioned the wonderful wines produced in Niagara- we were absolutely stunned and deeply touched to receive a bottle of Niagara wine ( hand delivered to our room by a lovely man whose name we did not catch). Thank you for making our anniversary trip just perfect! Lovely proportioned, clean, comfortable bedroom. Spacious bathroom with large walk-in shower. Excellent views of Parliament Hill from the 21st floor. Delicious breakfasts with a large selection of foods available.

The staff were very quick to help with any questions or requests. I know the restaurant attached to your location was not part of your hotel but the service was amazing. We opted in to the included breakfast and were pleasantly surprised by the options available.

We stayed in room 815. The bed on the left side(facing the bed) is in need of a new mattress. My husband was falling off the bed as the mattress was broken on his side and it needs to be replaced. The seat under the television had so much dust on it. Make sure house cleaning includes that in their dusting for all rooms. The curtains also had holes in them.

Insanely clean hotel. Always smells so good the moment that you walk in the door. The parking lot is so perfectly accessible from the hotel. It’s so convenient. The Westin is central to everything Parliament-related. The Senate tour was less than 5 mins away. Haunted Jail tour- 5 mins away. Bymark Market - 5 mins away. Loved it! Mall attached. It was a perfect stay. In passing, the açai-bowl restaurant RAW a few streets away on Morris was phenomenal too. Amazing stay. 10+

Swimming pool was quite cold!

Excellent laid out room with fantastic city & canal views. Location wise it is one of the best centrally located properties, bonus being directly connected to Rideau Center Mall having excellent shopping & eating possibilities besides giving excellent connectivity through the Rideau Center bust station as well as O-Train station within the mall.

Spent over one hr getting the Wifi to work. Signal from my rm did not work. had to use the guest site. 90 % of guests still did not understand how the elevators worked. have to be explained better....at check in..!! Trying to pay for the parking. Had to use the tel. and then woman who was lost.

The staff were extremely helpful. They went out of their way to make sure that we were well taken care of. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The hotel is centrally located in the heart of Ottawa. The hotel breakfast was excellent!

We had absolutely no complaints.

unsupervised kids running up and down our hall at three oclock! too many children jumping in and out of the pool there should be swim times with no children

Got a nice room with a view on Parliament hill. However we were too low to experience the whole view. Beds were comfortable, breakfast was outstanding. Loved the location.

Breakfast was fantastic

Put your elevators on generator power. We tried to take the stairs down during power outage and my daughter walked out onto the roof at the fourth floor where the stairs stop. Or at least alter your emergency plan to have someone stationed at that door to avoid walking out on to the roof.

Location is amazing. And love being attached to the Rideau Centre. View from our room was gorgeous.

It's very expensive, particularly breakfast.
