amazing location, brand new facilities, beds in the bedroom are very comfortable. definitely worth the price!

sofa bed has bed bugs. =( before I check in I specifically asked for clean set of bed sheet, comforter and pillows…. we couldn’t sleep the first night due to bed bugs. we complained, staff was very nice and give us partial refund . also change whole set of liners. they handled our complaint 5 star.

I really like the kitchen with the full-sized fridge. This allowed me to save money on food by buying my own and preparing it in the room.

I was not happy with the fee charged for parking. I checked in after 4pm on Thurs (June 30th) and checked out before 11am (July 2nd). The fee for parking was supposed to be $20 for 24 hours ~ from 4pm Thurs to 4pm Sat is 48 hours and I should have been charged $40 but was charged $60 for three days! I was not happy about this!!

Our first stay at a hotel of this type and to be honest it is something different, a hotel atmosphere but with everything you might need during your stay. They have pretty much everything and I have to mention the gym, games room and a place to work remotely as the WiFi works perfectly throughout the building. I used the kitchen a few times and they offer extra coffee or tea, you don't have to worry about dirty dishes as the dishwasher is in your room. Next time in the next city I will definitely prefer to stay at this hotel/apartment. Oh and yes, the check-in and check-out system is very convenient through the app. They have done everything for you so that there is no stress during your stay.

It could be cleaner for its price.

Great Centertown location. Close proximity to Elgin Street and walkable to Bank and the Byward market. Very nice facilities in the building. Workout area features Olympic bar, benches and and free weights. Many different lounge areas and a games room in the building. Bed was large and comfortable. Room was bright. Parking was $20 per day, which is normal for downtown. In and out system worked well. The underground lot and spaces are small, so large vehicles would struggle. Made some meals and coffee in the unit. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

No desk to work at in the rooms. Had to use the table. Kitchenette is very small with no counter space. Some kitchen items were missing (grater) or broken (kettle). AC in the fitness area was not functioning. Facility does not support recycling which is quite odd in 2023.

Iiked having access to a kitchen. Liked the modern decor and cleanliness. Location was easy to get around by car vs downtown where it is more of an ordeal to get in and out.

Unfortunately i left disappointed because i wanted to extend my stay one more night and they would only do it at a cost of $400 above the daily rate I had paid for the week. There was availability so it was frustrating that there was nobody able to make a decision about our request. They just looked at pricing online and said the hotel uses dynamic pricing….i was looking for common sense pricing! I ended up booking into a 4.5 star hotel for the extra night at a rate more than 50% cheaper than what Sondor was going to charge me. And when I got to the 4.5 star hotel, it was kind of refreshing to get really top notch service. So i was a very happy customer until the end. As long as you don’t need any customer service, it’s great.

This was a great find! Excellent accommodation and facilities with easy check in and very helpful staff. When I arrived and was having trouble with the keypad outside, a staff member came to my rescue to made sure I could definitely get into my accommodation. The place had laundry, social spaces and I the app really made it simple to access your room and local amenities. The room itself had a kitchen with plenty of the essentials needed and was light and airy. Would definitely choose to stay in a Sonder again.

The only issue I encountered was the Wi-Fi cutting out a few times, but I soon got it back up and running.

This was a little gem. The location was just off Elgin street where there are lots of restaurants and you can walk to downtown. The apartment was really clean and well decorated but the best part of the whole place was the facilities. It had a really nice lounge area and games room. I liked the ease of the check in and check out as well.

I didn’t like that I was charged many months in advance way before the free cancellation date with no notice that it was going to come out of my account. Also felt harassed for months by constant emails and messages asking me to check in online and someone even called me. I was not about to check in online until closer to the date just in case something better came up and I felt that them charging me early and then harassing me to check in was a tactic to make any cancellation more of an inconvenience for me coz I would have to wait for a refund etc.

The location was great - very convenient. We could walk downtown, to the canal, to Chinatown, to the light rail. Loved having parking garage attached to hotel so we didn't have to bring car to the hotel to pack it. Rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen were all very clean and well supplied. Lots of dishes, pots and pans, cutlery, paper towels, bathing towels and sheets. And we are a family of 4, so this meant alot!!! Bed, sofa very comfortable. It was nice having cupboards in the kitchen, all very very clean. We were able to store the dry food that we had brought. Microwave and coffee maker were all very new, good size and easy to use. Perfect size for a single person or a couple or a couple with a young child.

There was no view. I wish we had known that we'd be looking towards an inner courtyard. On the upside though, it meant we didn't have to hear sirens!! Also wish there was more hanging space. There was a closet in the bedroom but we would have liked one in the entrance way. That would definitely not stop us from coming back though. Not a great size for a family with 2 teenagers. Now terrible but it as a little tight fitting 2 teenagers (my son is 5'8" and daughter almost 6' fall so it was tight.)

The apartment was easy to locate. It' s situated 15 min from the city center (Parliament) by public transport. Please make sure to note the access code beforehand in case you arrive late. Please make sure to download the Sonder app. Everything can be done with this. The staff was very helpful and responsive. The WiFi speed was good. You will find grocery stores nearby. You can also use the fitness for free. To sum it up, I had a great time. I will book it again.

The bathroom was old. For example there was no walk-in shower. Additionally, the cleanliness could be improved. It's not possible to close the blinds fully. Therefore, you will be awake quite early in the morning (visit in May).

I was staying with my wife for two nights from Friday to Sunday. We rented a studio with kitchen and private bathroom. The studio was very nice, perfectly clean, fully equipped and all worked well. Everything was great apart from small nuances mentioned in the next paragraph.

The air conditioner inside the studio was rather noisy, so we used to turn it off for the night. The noise insulation of the studio (particularly the door to the apartment) was below standard. We could hear neighbors speaking, and noises from main corridor were coming clearly to the studio just as if the door was open. Unfortunately, on top of this, there was a group of guests in one of public rooms of the apartment complex and they were very noisy (probably watching a game and screaming and yelling) until cca 11PM on Saturday night. Perhaps management of the apartment complex could consider restrict access to public rooms after 10 PM.
