The location was amazing, right on the corner of the main street. Really convenient and easy to find and to enjoy the area walking. The staff is SUPER friendly and always available to help. We requested ice, a bucket, and water at the front desk and on the restaurant, and they were provided to us very quickly.

We could turn the TV on, but we couldn't change the channels as the controller was not properly working. We surely could call the front desk, but as the TV was not Smart, we decided not to. However, we would enjoy our stay even more if we could watch TV instead of on our cell phones. Also, the room didn't have a fridge, which we already knew as the ad stated this, however, I think it would be a good addition to our stay.

The location is central in the main town and easy walking to view the river or sit on a patio for eating. The hotel was quiet and the room was nice but as a light sleeper the AC unit was loud. Breakfast was standard continental breakfast and met my hunger! The staff were awesome; super friendly and accommodating!

Couch and chair were a bit uncomfortable in the room but certainly okay. There was a slat missing from the shutters so the light came through all night. We forgot to mention this to them at checkout.

Fantastic location on the Main Street of Paris with onsite free parking, friendly and helpful staff, and a quiet and comfortable room. We stayed in the Nina Simone Room, which was immaculately clean, quiet, and had a working turntable with speakers and available blues LP recordings. Bed was comfortable, air conditioning worked well, and complementary breakfast was good. Want to underline the friendliness and helpfulness of staff.

Location was great. Breakfast ended a bit too soon for my liking, so wasn't able to enjoy it. Perhaps extend an additional hour (until 10:00). After all vacationers do enjoy the chance to sleep in a bit.

It would have been nice if local staff had mentioned that most stores were closed on Mondays when we had said we were going to explore the area some. As Monday was the day we were leaving, we could have adjusted our "exploring" better to take in different sites/locales.

The location is great. The decor is awesome and fun. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Staff was courteous and friendly. Continental breakfast ended too early (9:00a) for a Sunday, although staff welcomed me even though I arrived later. Dinner at Edit was very good and the restaurant is pretty nice.

Continental breakfast was below average (there was a hair in the croissant, so I had fruit) and it ended too early (9:00a) for a Sunday. There was an intermittent dripping noise above the ceiling that a bit annoying. The room was not wide enough to fit 2 beds side-by-side, so they were facing each other, which was a bit awkward, but would have been OK, except that one bed was right next to the bathroom door and the other one was close to the annoying dripping noice.

Ellen rocked the front desk gave us ice bucket and a fridge for our room and was so friendly! Love the themes. Nice lobby. Felt safe clean and enjoyed our stay.

I didn’t realize and would have like to choose our theme room. Mark Twain room was a good mentor and we agreed at front desk two doubles would be fine. But it’s not queen beds, and they are wobbly headboards. I wish I had realized they were not queen beds. But they were comfortable. Cute and clean. Just a tiny window. On this particular themed room. But it was nice and dark for sleeping. I was glad not to get the Freud or Frankenstein room! So when I heard mark Twain I was like, phew! So we still enjoyed, but double means double! We are tall folk. But we managed. I wouldn’t request it if your tall or a couple. Other than that, super cute. The elevator is a Tardis from Dr. Who! It’s huge inside! Haha ok have fun there! Breakfast was continental and good. Staff amazing.

Good location in the heart of downtown Paris. Staff are friendly. We checked out early due to trail hiking. We asked if we still park our car for few more hours. It was okay. The room was cleaned. The bathroom must have been newly renovated because it was very cleaned. The breakfast was surprisingly included in our stay it wasn't mentioned when I booked. Was a good breakfast. Paris is beautiful.

The hotel is very nice. One problem was the air-conditioning system was noisy and loud. Our room was #207. Don't know about the other room if it has the same loud noise intermittently. And by the way, our pillows was not comfortable at all. Good thing we brought our own. Other than that, everything was very good.

The hotel is beautiful! We had reserved 3 rooms for one night and everyone’s rooms were very clean and the decor was unique! The staff was friendly, accommodating and helpful.

Since the building is quite old, it’s a bit noisy. The vents went on and off continuously and they would make a pretty loud thud (in our room) when they turned off. The bathrooms also didn’t have fans, which was not a big deal, just something we noticed was missing and would have been nice to have. Also, depending on where your room is, you will be able to hear people and traffic on the streets throughout the night.

Start with the welcome: The staff were ALL friendly and helpful from the time we arrived until we left. The hotel was fabulous and very clean! The theme rooms were fascinating - we happened to be in the Mark Twain room! There was ample room for the two of us to move around our room freely as the layout was great. The Patio is a very nice touch with the vines offering some privacy as well as a coolant from the hot sun. I would definitely recommend this authentic - very cool hotel.

I would have liked a fan in the bathroom for a couple of reasons. There was a peculiar odour when we entered the hotel. Is it possibly from the collection of old books? There wasn't really anything to dislike.

Room was nicely decorated - we had the Leonard Cohen room which we requested. The working record player and some Leonard Cohen records were a nice touch. Food in the restaurant was good. It was a bonus that a continental breakfast was provided. Staff was very friendly.

The sound insulation in the room was not great. You can hear footsteps upstairs and the neighbouring doors on the floor opening and closing, and most unfortunately the garbage truck very early in the morning (5:30am Monday during our stay).
