Quality Inn - Kitchener

Well kept room including bathroom. Lighting was also very good. Micro/fridge, hair dryer, iron/board all in good working condition is always appreciated. Never running out of clean towels, etc. is also a big +. A nice eating area, the hot breakfast was excellent with ample food everyday.

The fact that we, as a senior couple, were given the room right across the housekeeping room/staff. It made it very noisy early in the morning. As well we were located adjacent to an exit door to the parking area hence, as people entered and exited the hotel it made awfully noisy (banging door). Lastly and with the fact our room was facing the highway, it made it also extremely noisy. Unfortunately, we didn't realize all this after we had everything unpacked and organized for our three-night stay. It is however a situation we will remember to take into account on our next trip.

Staff was friendly. Located close to the mall. The ice machine on our floor was working which was really nice. Easy check in. Breakfast was hot. Very clean.

When I booked I had messaged to see if we could have a room on the main floor for easier in and out access for our family and told they would try to reserve us one. When we arrived we were not able and told it was because we had a larger room with 2 beds. I was told this was not available on the main floor which was confusing because they knew the room I had booked when I emailed during booking. It was not a big deal. We managed.

Large clean room . Staff very helpful and friendly. Great location, easy to find, excellent on/ off to major road. Breakfast is not a large selection but quality and quantity of cold and hot choices good.

The beds are too high for a short person to get in and out, especially if have back issues.The mattress and topper make it too high. and soft. Need a step stool! Pillows too soft. Due to my mobility issues, the layout can make it difficult for someone with mobility difficulties because it is spread out ( distance issues). The layout of the building made it difficult to get your bearings, signage , showing which way to the lobby/front desk would be helpful, as would signing the exit doors in order to help with one’s bearings.

My husband, myself and another couple stayed at this property for the weekend. We found it clean, we all slept ok, so that means that the beds are comfortables. There location is not bad, we knew we would need to do everything by car, so that was expected! The breakfast was not expected, so that was a plus, you can serve yourself (eggs, croissant and potatoes) or you can grab a bad with fruit, juice and muffin! Great value and Service!

Quality Inns as a franchise are far from uniform. This property is right up there with the Hampton Inn. I own a top rated boutique hotel so am very observant. In the long run the key factor in a hotel is the leadership of the Management and how they treat their staff. A enthusiastic involved staff who feel valued and appreciated makes all the difference especially in the attention to detail. The staff from housekeeping through breakfast through the front desk were genuinely enthusiastic, caring, warm and acted as if they were the owners wanting the guests to feel at home.. more like a traditional B&B than a chain hotel. At 85 years of age and a hotelier myself I have stayed in many places around the globe. These folks are exceptional.

extremely clean room, all that was needed for a stay. hot breakfast in the am included: waffle makers and batter, chicken tenders, eggs, bagels, bread, cream cheese, apple juice orange juice coffee tea, milk, yogurt I was very impressed with the facility all around. ac unit was quiet not like most that sounds like a hemi is strapped to the wall. polite and friendly staff, can’t say anything bad about the quality inn!. would recommend and stay there again any time. 👍👍

The breakfast was great —a lot of choices. I loved the waffle! The room was comfy and offered a variety of pillows. The staff, especially Carrie, were helpful and friendly. My emails prior to my stay were answered promptly and my requests were granted.

The ice machine on our floor was out of order, but the elevator was quick to take me to the floor with a working one. The upholstery on the chair is quite worn, but could be fixed easily.

I liked the breakfast wish there was more fresh fruit and hot chocolate for people that dont drink coffee. I love the fact the cleaner put a extra bag of towels on my third day out side since everytime they came to clean my private sign was out.

I wish breafast was open till 11. Channel guide would be great. And for check in that your able to use debit visa some people dont use credit cards so they dont go into debt.

I enjoyed the breakfast, so much to choose from, so much to eat, the room was big and the bed was comfortable. The rugs in the rooms either have to be changed or deep cleaned. The location is superb, with easy access to GRT.

There should be room to receive cash In United States Dollars, especially for international travelers who are visiting Canada for the first time and don't have a credit card or Canadian dollars. I would have been stranded if I didn't have a friend to pay for me with her credit card.

Breakfast was good, but limited. Based on the price, I expected a little more fresh food choices. Overall I am satisfied with my stay.

Pre-coooked eggs and chicken strips are not my idea of a hot breakfast. even having things like boiled eggs or the ability to make one, would be an improvement. the food products that were there appeared fresh and not stale.
