Four Points by Sheraton Cambridge Kitchener, Ontario

I booked thru booking.com when I arrived they told me to pay for the room … I told front desk that I already paid thru booking.com … front desk said no that was just to reserve the room … I showed front desk the email receipt from booking.com … they still said it was to reserve the room and that booking.com will not charge me just the front desk … I knew this was not correct but I needed the room and didn’t want to start a ugly dispute then and there and I would call booking .com later … anyway sure enough there are 2 charges on me visa statement one from booking.com and the other from four points Cambridge … not happy with the front desk talking to me like I was stupid and not even caring or looking at the email properly !!!!

Everything was amazing but thr staff, they were exceptional. Housekeeping in particular were so wonderful and friendly. Also, there was a young Indian woman working at reception- she is phenomenal! Great with the kids, knowledgeable, kind and fun- a real pleasure and an asset to Four Points.

Another local hotel is having construction works (but had lower prices) and that when we chose Four Pounts.When we cheched in at Four Points, our floor was under construction. We had to implore the manager to give us a better rate. The pool needs help! There was mold in the bathroom shower too.

The size of the room and being right off of the 401

The parking lot is too small. The snow removal was POOR. Snow between every car making it a slip and fall hazard. I was shocked that it was so poorly maintained considering the possibility for the company getting sued.

Was clean and service personnel where attentive and supportive

Price / Value - the rate was quite high for a property at this location (highway hotel) with limited amenities or nearby attractions. No breakfast included neither so It makes no sense.

slow elevator and room needed some airing - it’s unfortunate I couldn’t open a window as the air was VERY stale

most important for us coffee served in the lobby just off the restaurant as there were no coffee makers in the room. The restaurant was open for breakfast which served either continental or full buffet.

the parking lot in the evening was quite full with what appeared to be local groups hanging out. a big assumption perhaps but the parking was not monitored or restricted for patrons only.

bathroom sink was mostly plugged and extremely slow to drain resulting in sink filling up. It was reported on arrival to room when it was first used. They were willing to change rooms but we were settled. I asked if they could resolve, but it was never done during our 2 day stay.

Great location just off the highway & it was close to shopping & St. Jacobs Market. Friendly, courteous staff. Dinner in their restaurant was excellent, fabulous steak & salmon and our server was amazing!! We plan to stay here again.

The breakfast was another $20 on top of the nightly cost. That made the cost for the stay rather pricey, as I had no discounts. That along with the price would cause me to look for a cheaper hotel on my next visit. Donna Leonard.

Close to airport and family

That I couldn't get the motel to answer their phone as I called many times to see if we could leave our car their and be shuttled to the Kitchener Waterloo Airport.
