Stayed here during a work trip to the city and felt like it was really great value for money. It has no bells and whistles but it offers the most important things: A comfortable bed, a clean room, great location, friendly staff. The converted warehouse has a very cool vibe to it and the room I was in was a great size. It's also a smaller hotel so I greatly enjoyed the peace and quiet - not thousands of guests rushing between facilities. It's becoming my new regular hotel for my mid-week work visits to Toronto.

The building is an old warehouse conversion, so it's going to be expected to have some unpolished edges compared to a new build hotel, but nothing unexpected or major. As other travellers have mentioned, would love some breakfast options, maybe even a deal with one of the nearby cafes.

Great location! Right in Chinatown, not far from Queen Street and Kensington Market. Love the industrial decor, very simple hotel with limited amenties and reasonable size room.

-The bathroom door is a sliding door, doesn't locked and sometimes it moved back by itself (only 1 time is happened.) -AC is very loud, but i don't mind, At least, it makes the room cooler when it was very hot day. -I don't mind having no coffee maker in the room and no breakfast in the hotel. I prefer going outside to a local cafe shop and restaurant.

I like this hotel, I would stay there again. It is typical of a city location, no on-site parking, but the parking garage is 2 blocks away. The room was clean and comfortable, but somewhat minimal in its amenities, which was fine for me because I didn't spend much time in the room (and you get what you pay for, it was relatively inexpensive). It is adjacent to Toronto's Chinatown, and adjacent to Toronto's wonderful system of streetcars, buses and subways, making getting from here to there incredibly simple, and I left my car in the parking garage. Strong Wifi. Bar in the lobby. This is an old brick building, refurbished to hotel space, the rooms show exposed brick and wood beams (which I find charming), and the bathroom seems brand new and modern.

No refrigerator in the room; only one chair in the room, no couch or sofa in the room.

The hotel was very quiet, very clean and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. There are lots of great places to eat close by.

The layout of the room took some getting used to as did the big "window" between the bedroom and the bathroom, even travelling alone. There is no coffee pot in the room, you need to go downstairs after 7:00 to get coffee and then it's a tiny cup so be sure to bring a large reusable cup with you if caffeine is what gets you moving in the morning.

The location is perfect for a tourist. We were at walkable distance of most of the neighbourhoods. There are lots of restaurants, coffeeshops and stores nearby. The staff was friendly. There is an elevator. The rooms were clean, we had enough towels. The bed was confortable with enough pillows. We could change the temperature of the room. We didn't hear much of the people outside and beside our room. If you come by car, there is a good underground parking not too expensive in front of the hotel.

The rooms aren't that big, it's ok for a person or a couple. There was only a lamp to illuminate the room at night. The tv did not work but thankfully someone left their netflix logged in so I used it (sorry). There were lots of wires coming out of the tv and the electronic antenna. The door for the bathroom isn't really a door and it kind of gets stuck when you roll it, not very practical if there is someone going for number 2... Breakfast is not included, would have been nice to have a little something other than just coffee, but again, there's plenty of stuff around.

Stylish rooms / modern & simplistic with exposed brick walls & natural lighting Clean & spacious bathroom Lots of towels Soft fluffy bed with feathery duvet City view

I was a little confused when I walked in because the rooms are actually above the restaurant. You can find the check in desk under the stairs & the elevator to the right of the stairs. Even though I was a little thrown off at first, it was no big deal because after my stay I can appreciate the simplicity & unpretentious style of the place. I did have to wait 10 -15 mins during check in however they offered me late check out as compensation!

Close to my office. Interesting neighborhood, with many restaurants and shops in walking distance. The room temperature was comfortable, even with a blizzard outside. I appreciated the in-room fridge and the WiFi.

It was unclear from the website if the rooms had an office table and chair. I picked a room that appeared to have one from the photos, it worked well, but the website could be clearer, especially if some rooms do _not_ have a table. When I showered in the morning, the water was warm but not hot. It was better on Saturday, so I think it is due to the hot water heater being under-provisioned for many guests using it at the same time.

Nice hotel. Nice staff. Friendly. Helpful. Nice room. Easy check-in. Open to out of town questions. Great location to hit Kensington Market, Chinatown, theatre and lots of restaurants and bars. Fun. Nice bed. A desk person all through the night. Feeling of safety. Have a bar and a restaurant though we didn't try either. Good aesthetic. Cool artwork.

Bathroom - though beautiful with a great shower, the sliding door that separated the bathroom from the main room didn't close. The tile around the shower drain was dirty. Plastic toilet seat. No one told us where we could get ice in the Budweiser metal bar bucket that we were given and that I think was for getting ice. Our mini fridge was a wine fridge so it ran at about 44 degrees. Not good for holding leftovers.

The property is beautiful and well designed.

The mattress was not too bad but I do really dislike duvets because they are too hot and there was not a lighter blanket to use as an option. Also it is way too small for the bed, it should at least go down to cover the sides of the mattress to give you something to wrap around you a bit. Honestly we thought it was a queen duvet on a king bed.

Really happy with this Hotel. It's a fabulous character building that's been respectfully converted to a boutique style hotel. My room was a pleasure to be in and the bathroom was superb, spacious and well appointed. Super friendly people too. I'd happily stay here again if ever I'm back in Toronto.

If there had been a food option for breakfast I would have happily have eaten at the restaurant/bar area as it had a really nice feel. There were lot's of excellent options nearby so it was no biggie.
