The intercontinental never disappoints. The location is perfect for all your Toronto sightseeing needs. No more than a 5-10 min walk to the CN Tower, Rogers Centre, The Aquarium and Scotiabank Arena. The Hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and the small convenience store on the lower level was a life saver.

Parking in the lot was a bit tricky since the lot is shared with the public. there was a Bluejay game going on and the only spot I could find was levels away from the hotel entrance. Bringing my 3 suitcases to the hotel was a challenge.

The location was fantastic and beds were comfortable and elevators were fast. We hoped for a lake view but got the city side. Next time maybe we can get the lake view.

Housekeeping knocking on the door every day was frustrating. We answered the door finally but she still wanted to check the bathroom for towels etc. then she needed to scan her key to the door while it was open for some reason. We couldn’t find our do not disturb sign to put out.

Location right next to Union Station. right behind is the aquarium, CN tower, Rogers center, railroad museum and Harbourfront. View from the room window is the CN and the lake. The staff is very friendly and responds to all needs and requests anytime of day or night. Check in was easy even past midnight. Late check out request was granted with no hassles at all.

Shower floor drainage overflows into the dry part of the washroom. So we requested for a room transfer which was immediately granted.

Super friendly and professional staff, welcoming and accommodating. Lovely lobby and public areas. Relaxing Spa area/warm salt water pool and soothing jetted hot tub. Location of the hotel is second to none! Perfect for walking everywhere.

We would rather an empty fridge to put our own drinks and food in. The bar fridge is packed with outrageously priced drinks and snacks. No microwave (microwaves are pretty much standard in hotel rooms now). Windows are filthy, so the incredible view is marred. Room cleanliness should be worked on: Dried food, hair, dust in vents. Door safety latch was falling out of the wall.

The hotel was really beautiful and art filled. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The location was perfect walking distance to the ScotiaBank Center and other attractions. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was delicious and had many varieties. Will stay here again.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like. This hotel met and exceeded expectations.

Great views of lake. Quiet side of hotel. Very roomy for a standard room. They honoured my requests.

I loved the pool, hot tub and steam room. The pool was always crowded, however. Lots of families with kids there. Not so good for swimming laps. I did note that staff stopped letting people in one evening, so they made an effort to control numbers.

The condition of ‘Breakfast included’ should be more clear. When you made reservation for 4 people and the website said that Breakfast included, I believe most people think breakfast is included for 4 people because there’s no explanation or condition. But There’s differences between the hotel and Booking.com. I don’t know which side is responsible for this confusion, please make it clear.

We had a great stay! Last March break we stayed at the Shangri-La (as a treat) and although the Shangri-La is no doubt beautiful, the Intercontinental met the exact same needs and wants with a much smaller bill. Great location as well! Will definitely stay again.

The pool was nice. The rooms were very quiet. Couldn't hear any noise from the halls or other rooms which was really nice. The bathroom was nicely updated. The room was large and enjoyed the bar fridge.

Requested a room with a view and was put on the 4th floor. Not much of a view. For $15 more could have gone to the beautiful Royal York down the street with a nicer ambiance in the rooms and hotel overall. The hotel is nice but nothing over the top amazing

Nearly all of the staff were welcoming and helpful, especially the valets and bellhops. The view from our room was STUNNING! The lake, CN tower, and the roundhouse. The room was clean and comfortable.

To be fair, we were exhausted upon arrival so probably extra sensitive, but I felt the employee who checked us in was a bit condescending. I felt the same later in the evening when dealing with him again. We may just have both just been having an off day. The room was a bit smaller than I had expected, but certainly comfortable and usable...and that view made up for any other potential failings!
