Location- it is close to the museum and restaurants and shopping centers.
Parking. So tight. When we checked out my husband who was the driver had to request someone to guide him to get out. So happy someone helped us - the security person. My husband fell in the shower this morning. I wish there was rubber lining for old people to use when they take shower. My husband is 86. I had to report this incident so it will not happen to the next elderly guest. The bottle for body gel was empty since our first day of stay. The roll of toilet paper is far from my grasp when I sit on the bowl. No hand wash. The first thing I looked was the handwash. There was none. Washing my hands is the first thing I do when I enter a room. Pandemic is not over yet. The sound of air conditioner was loud even if we removed our hearing aids.

The location was perfect. Close to the activities/events we did/attended. The staff was great! 10/10. I love how they would check on us via text message and would keep checking on us throughout our stay to make sure everything was going well. The conplimentary cookies they gave us at the reception was so good as well. The body lotion/soap/shampoo/conditionners that were in the bathroom were also of good quality. The room was clean and accomodated the 4 of us well. We will come back again next time we’re in Toronto.
We had issues with our card to get into our room and only one of our friends was able to get the hang of how to open the door. This was the only downside of our stay

The hotel location was top and I could walk to most places such as the Toronto city name sign (Nathan Phillips Square), Yonge Dundas-Square, the CN tower, Union station and other. The room of a great size and the bathroom, too. The coffee machine in the room was very useful for someone like me who takes the coffee on the go and the coffee brand of an excellent choice. The bed was very comfortable. The fresh-out-of-the-oven cookie when you check-in is just a great touch and very welcoming. The staff is very, very helpful.
The indoor pool was small and the dry sauna didn't really have a timer, so couldn't tell how long I was in. And for leaving that soon ;(

This place was lovely. The hotel description says that guests are greeted with warm chocolate chip cookies - which is honestly the whole reason we booked here but at the same time I didn't really believe we'd actually get cookies - but as soon as we checked in, we were given the nicest cookies I've ever had that weren't made by my mum. Sounds trivial but we'd had such a long trip to get to Toronto and arriving to delicious cookies made for such a lovely welcome. As for everything else, the room was great, bed was comfortable, shower had hot water. Everything was beautifully clean. Wifi was reliable. Aircon was efficient. Location was perfect. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. There were refillable soap dispensers in the shower and a recycling bin in the room - I was so impressed! Having access to an in-house coin laundry was very convenient. The pool was nice - the sauna was a very welcome bonus! Gym was modern and well equipped. We would love to come back here!
The one and only downside is that the free cookies tragically contain nuts - which is a bit silly given how many people have nut allergies. I'm sure the cookies would have been equally nice without nuts and then more people could enjoy them. But that's my only complaint. Would definitely stay here again.

Following a vacation to Vancouver(Kelowna) to visit an old friend, and to St John's Newfoundland for a family wedding, I booked 2 nights downtown at Double Tree. I felt this would be a nice way to finish our Canadian trip. It proved so! We enjoyed the hotel and it's location. We visited the national museum and the government buildings. There is a nice prevailing atmosphere at the hotel, friendly staff, relaxed restaurant, efficient but non-fussy management, good taxi service with honest fares to airport.
The restaurant is good, as mentioned above, but perhaps could benefit with menu variation.

Personal fridge in room excellent, breakfast buffet really good, staff very friendly.
Despite not being fully booked they wouldn’t give us more than 30-60 minutes for a late checkout and we needed several hours so we paid for a whole extra night. I think this policy should be looked at; if our room wasn’t booked, the hotel could’ve offered us 6 hours for a part-payment but this wasn’t negotiable. If it wasn’t booked for that night it could’ve been cleaned on next day rotation so would not have created any extra work or inconvenience to the hotel.

The size and claensiness of the room. There was an ironing board and iron (which I needed!!) WiFi was acceptable speed and enough free TV Chanel to keel me busy during down times. I love the fact that they are purchasing product (shampoo, soap, lotion etc).from.a reputable company. The fact that we could park under the hotel.was a big plus for me.
The restaurant server could use a little training, ot they might have been left on their a little too soon. Otherwise the rest if the staff was extremely cordial, jovial and hepful

Great location that is walking distance to everything in and around downtown Toronto. Hotel is nice, and staff was very nice. Room is modern and clean. They do have a parking garage below, but be warned it is very tight driving down there with barely any room to avoid hitting another vehicle coming the opposite way. They have signs warning of this, but be prepared if you are driving a large vehicle like an SUV to have quite a hard time when making turns if there is another car coming. Or if you're not driving an SUV and come across one, you'll also have a hard time of it - there's just no way around it with the way the garage is designed. The parking spots themselves are also very tight quarters. It's probably the most difficult parking garage I've ever used. That being said, for the convenience of being able to ditch the car and explore the city on foot, it was worth it because downtown Toronto is not easy to drive around. Overall, for the price and location I think this hotel was pretty good. Note the obvious street noise on a weekend night does filter upward but there was no noise coming from the other rooms or the hotel itself. Once the city quieted down, I slept great.
The parking garage was stressful.

Efficient Check in, clean room with relaxing bed, excellent location with many activities, welcoming employees and cookies. Parking was convenient and safe, and 24 hrs from 2pm to 2pm the next day, even though $$ sounded high. I would stay again.
I wish some sort of small breakfast was included with the price of the room. I made a request to check in earlier than 3pm and was emailed back immediately to say Check in was at 3pm and no guarantees so we adjusted our travel plans. I never heard back. Upon checking out the next day we saw that people arriving early to check in were accommodated. That left us confused as to why our request was denied.

Room was very clean and maintained with updated modern styling. Location normally would have been a little out of the way but because of why I needed to come to Toronto and on short notice it turned out to be fairly convenient as my business was near Bloor & Younge streets. Sorry did not have breakfast at the hotel nor did I use any of the facilities on a one night stay even though I did give full marks presuming there were completely adequate if I had been able to make use of them. I did eat at the restaurant on the night of my arrival and found the meal I had to be excellent.
There is nothing I really didn’t like or could find fault with to even mention it. If you want something all I saw was the bedroom door jamb bottom needed some touch up!
