our stay was fabulous! Great big king bed with a fireplace & tub that we didn't use but the separate bath and shower suited us fine. Windows opened really nicely to let in the fresh rainy air, room was very clean and the breakfast was superb!! Location is really close to downtown for great eating establishments. Across the street from the harbor.

Not really much to complain about other than we just had to park on the street out front.

The staff/manager were great; friendly, helpful. The breakfasts were first-class. One of them combined scrambled eggs with Chinese dumplings, and now we've an idea for breakfast prep at home! The room was very nice, as was the bathroom. Location was great for walkability, and with a view of a cruise ship when we arrived.

Not a lot of parking, although they have 2 dedicated spots in front of the property. Not sure where others would park. the location was downtown with a harbour view, but some might find it too close to the ships? We had no complaints though.

Beautiful room with king bed and jetted tub. Very pretty inn within walking distance of the wharf, coffee shop, and other downtown restaurants and shopping. Very private and quiet. No parking, but street parking wasn't a problem. Delicious breakfast made fresh when you came down. Coffee, pastries, cereal, and fruit were available and in addition, the hosts made homemade french toast with very pretty presentation.

This was not a problem for us but if someone had mobility issues, be aware that you'll have to take stairs upstairs to some rooms, and downstairs to breakfast.

Location.. close to the harbour, excellent restaurants, downtown, historic sites. The inn itself… includes ramp entry for handicapped and two ground floor bedrooms, immaculate, excellent breakfast, including a hot entree, comfortable common room with tourist pamphlets and maps. The owner and staff… Mary is experienced in the hospitality industry. She is professional , thoughtful and welcoming. I was impressed with the housekeeping. There are two designated parking spots in front of the house and also spots available around the corner. I recommend The Inn unreservedly. Many thanks, Mary!!

Location was good, close to the waterfront and downtown, restaurants and shops. The room was comfortable and clean and a kettle plus milk and tea/coffee were in my room upon request. There was a daily room cleaning service, if needed. There was a choice of both hot and cold breakfast foods.

Communication was challenging especially at breakfast time as English was not the host's first language. The music in the dining room sounded like elevator music. Everyone in the dining room could hear the owners talking loudly in the kitchen, especially the husband. The smell of bleach in the hallway every morning was very strong. Being woken up by traffic noise early in the morning every day. The guest in the next door room decided to make a noise which sounded like a ball being bounced on the floor during the evening when I was relaxing which disturbed 2 evenings out of my 4 night stay. I had to bang on the bathroom wall before the bouncing ball noise stopped.

I can't say enough good things about this place; our room was large and there was a lovely porch to sit on to read or snack or just visit with other guests. The breakfast was lovely and they had different features each day along with fresh fruit, cereal, pastries, coffee, tea, juices etc. Our hosts were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. It was also easy walking to everything at the waterfront.

We stayed here for 7 nights. An excellent Inn close to the waterfront and a short walk to the centre of the city. Very friendly and welcoming family operation. The breakfast was excellent with a hot item that changed daily. We particularly enjoyed the omelette and pancakes. Also tasty baked items. The place was spotless. They even gave us a substantial “to go” box for breakfast the night before our departure as we had to leave before breakfast was served. Price was good given the high prices for accommodation in Charlottetown in the summer.

We suggest that the small setter in our room ( on the first floor) be replaced with a comfortable chair. The settee is low and does not have much cushioning left. it really only seats one person comfortably. It fits the decor but is not very functional.

This is one of the better places I've stayed anywhere. Incredible service, lovely staff and a decent cooked breakfast every morning. (If you are a fan of large portions, this is more of a light breakfast to get you on your way, not a robust meal.) I preferred it to the hotel all you can eat mediocre breakfasts; this one was served by friendly and attentive staff and freshly prepared. Decent coffee, too with help yourself juice, fruit, toast and bakery goods. Location is right across the street from a coffee bar and the waterfront is a five minute walk away. Parking is on the street, but we never had a problem finding a spot. Lots of places for dinner within walking distance. We explored parts of PEI with this as our base and returned for dinner in the evenings. Our room was quiet and comfy with a very clean bathroom. Can't say enough about this place; a wonderful stay.

A very small suggestion for improvement would be that the bedside tables need more room for glasses, a water glass and a phone with the lamp taking up a lot of the space. Bathroom needed more surface area (larger table in both spaces?) to put sundries and personal items and a few more spots to dry towels. Because of the number of electronics folks travel with - laptop, tablet, phone, medical devices - having a few outlet "spiders" would be helpful to make it easier to plug in. Minor things indeed. Overall, no issues.

We stayed in Room #1 and found it very comfortable both in the bedroom and the private bathroom with hairdryer and nice shower amenities. Unfortunately their TV was not working throughout the property but the wifi was good. Heat and AC in room. The location is one block from the cruise ship docks and within a block or two of restaurants and an easy 3 block walk to downtown Queen Street for shopping, eating or bars. The morning of our stay was fresh blueberry pancakes that were so light and fluffy and delicious with bacon freshly cooked once we sat down. Also available was fruit, yoghurt, toast and hard boiled egg as well as a couple sweets and of course juice and coffee. Excellent breakfast included.

The only downside was their TV service was not working when we were there which was not a big deal but a movie before bed would have been nice or news in the morning getting ready for our day.
