The location was unbeatable! The property was in the best area of El Peñón with a lot of restaurants and bars around. From this perspective, we think this is even more convenient than Granada area where we also stayed for one day. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. There were three restaurants onsite and they were all good.

The room was basic which we were aware of. However they could put attention to some details: night stands with power outlet on both sides. Hooks in the bathroom for towels etc.

The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. They gave excellent recommendations on activities to do in the city. The rooms were very large and comfortable and great for longer term stays with a working area. Of the 6 different hotels I stayed at during my trip, the beds here were by far the most comfortable. Since I was traveling in and out of Cali on multiple solo trips, I was grateful that the staff let me keep my extra luggage at the hotel for days while I was away. When I returned they were all happy to see me and asked all about my adventures.

Very nice small modern design hotel. Located in walking distance from historical areas. Very good breakfast, but I would say too small portions for hungry people. I was absolutely happy about the spacious and bright room which allows you to stay in (and still feel good and comfy) even though there is a bad weather outside. Very spacious bathroom and shower as well. Hotel is ideal for solo travelers or couples with young spirit. Very helpful staff, but don´t expect perfect English (it´s better to have translation app ready). Very good WiFi connection everywhere in the hotel. I was staying there just for two nights, but I can imagine my self to stay there even for longer.

Rooms are unfortunately not that soundproof as I expected, I could here noise from the hallway (especially in the evening when people are drinking until late hours). It´s not possible to open the window in the room, but at the end it´s not needed as there is a good aircon in the room.

The rooms are attractive, large and comfortable (including the mattresses and pillows!). Great hot showers. The neighborhood is great—so many restaurants within easy walking distance, and we felt comfortable exploring into the evening (though we were never out very late). The San Antonio neighborhood is also an easy 10-minute-ish walk. If you are sensitive to sound, ask for an interior room. We stayed here at the start and end of our trip, and the first room was an interior room and very quiet. When we came back at the end of our travels, we were given a room that faced the street and it was very noisy (not helped by the fact that it was a Friday night, and it's a lively neighborhood). The next morning, the staff graciously accommodated our request to change rooms (and luckily there was a quieter one available) and that night we slept like logs. This is really a lovely place to stay and an exceptional value. If I was going back to Cali, I'd stay again in a heartbeat.

The street-facing rooms are quite noisy and could benefit from better windows to help with soundproofing.

Small boutique hotel, large room. Very friendly staff, ability to watch netflix in the evening. The location is excellent, the included breakfast was delicious and the option of 3 restaurants was great. Would definitely book again.

House keeping was a little off, almost like they were interrupted mid clean. They left the dirty towels on the couch and didn't restock coffee or minibar.

The Location is great. Surrounded by great restaurants with great food both local and internationally inspired flavors. the staff was amazing, I never got her name but the Lady at the front desk was amazing and understanding and would call a reputable taxi whenever you needed one. We were there for a quick trip to bring a family member to the states and I couldn’t ask for a better place to stay, clean, secure and amazing value for the money.

Spotty Wifi but could have been my phone settings rather then their wifi service. Shower door didn’t close all the way but worked fine to keep the water in. Truly no issues I can honestly complain about.

Absolutely brilliant hotel. Our room was really spacious, clean and had all the amenities we could ask for including a smart tv, fridge and coffee machine. The shower was the best I’ve had in Colombia! The staff were super attentive, especially Fernando, thank you for being a great host. The area felt really safe and there are great bars and restaurants all around and even three on the ground floor of the hotel. We would highly recommend staying at Hotel El Peñón and hopefully we can visit again.

First and foremost the staff are all kind, friendly and helpful. They were always available 24/7. This is my second time staying at this location and once again the stay met my expectations. Air conditioner is nice and cold and there is a variety of TV channels to choose from. There is a refrigerator in the room that stays cold and the shower gives an ample amount of hot water. Breakfast downstairs it’s nice. Hotel is located in a great area close to restaurants and a grocery store.

The only downside of this location which would actually be quite common in most locations, is the street noise. It can get quite loud during the popular times of the day.

Amazing location that is central to the rest of the city. lots of bars and restaurants in walking distance from hotel. staff are super friendly and attentive. The area is super safe and the building has 24/7 concierge with cameras on every floor.

No washer for clothes but the building offers options and there are options close by for drop off.
