Had a lovely stay at Casa Del Arzobispado. Our room was beautiful and grand ceilings and design – the hotel refurbishing kept the historic details and finish well. The Turkish bath and pool were lovely amenities and breakfast was at cafè época. The staff were helpful and helped us out with recommendations, reservations and printing etc. Their massage was reasonable and relaxing in a lovely room as well.

The room in the front of the property is very grand but being at the front of the building has some street noise but that’s to be expected in the old town. All other rooms are quiet interior rooms.

A beautiful hotel located right in Cartagena's old town, the staff were very friendly and accommodating (especially Christian). It was very nice to be located next to Epoca, one of the best cafes in town.

Upon arrival we were told that the hotel had no water, which as a fluke is understandable. It took multiple hours for the water reservoir to be filled but we took that opportunity to explore the city. The next day, day 2 out of 3 for us, the hotel lost power for multiple hours during the day. Again unfortunate, but no other establishment on the street had the same issue so some basic infrastructure needs to be addressed.

Location is exceptional, with easy access to the main sites of interest in within the walled city.  extremely picturesque, large rooms with high ceilings, comfortable bed and wonderful bathroom. Beautiful patio lush with plants and a pool for relaxing at the end of the day during the city.  Wonderful blend of 16th century, art and architecture, nature, and the comforts of a modern hotel.  Amazing and healthy breakfasts are available at the contiguous Epoca café,  through a voucher system. This is one of Cartagena‘s best cafés.  The staff was unsurpassed in it’s warmth and supportiveness of all of our needs. Thank you so much! 

We would suggest to the staff that they silence the music in the courtyard at 10 PM rather than 11 PM. 

I had an amazing experience at the boutique hotel in Cartagena, where the facilities in a charming and beautiful colonial mansion were simply excellent. Despite the small size, the pool was delightful, and the menu and drinks offered were outstanding. Additionally, the hotel provided a daily credit for breakfast that could be used at Café Época. This café is considered the best in Cartagena, and the credit offered was more than enough to savor the delicious options provided by the establishment. The room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom featured shampoo, conditioner, and moisturizers from an excellent local brand. The staff were extremely helpful and enthusiastic, providing top-notch service. Moreover, the hotel's location couldn't have been better. To top it all off, they also offered complimentary bikes for guests to explore the city. This additional amenity was a special touch that truly enhanced my stay. I highly recommend this boutique hotel to anyone looking to experience the colonial charm of Cartagena in a welcoming and enchanting setting.

I highly recommend this hotel for your visit to Cartagena! Not only was the location perfect as it is central and walking distance to historic sites, museums, abundant restaurants, cafes, and bars in the old town, but the staff was extremely hospitable and the hotel was architecturally stunning, making us feel comfortable, safe, and at home for the week we stayed there in early June. In addition, the adjoining Epoca cafe where breakfast is served was one of the best cafes in the city with high quality coffee and efficient service. We would definitely stay here again should we travel to Cartagena again in the future.

Everyone at the hotel was outstanding. The location is perfect- right in the center of the walled city. Our room was beautiful and we enjoyed the history of the hotel. There are so many things to rave about- the boutique hotel is so cozy, the POOL is amazing, the greenery is unforgettable, and the staff was always kind, friendly and helpful. The credits to use at Epoca were so generous and we were able order the most fabulous breakfasts. We cannot wait to come back! Daniel was so helpful and was even able to help me book a group reservation for my wedding. He was able to accommodate our group and attentive to every detail for our group. We felt so well cared for at Hotel Arzobispado! Our friends that had massages at the spa also said they were one of the best they have ever had!

Loved the location of the hotel, right in the middle of Cartagena. The hotel is beautiful, very classy, beautiful art on the walls, beautiful courtyard and pool with lovely furniture upstairs. Great coffee bar attached and a great breakfast in the morning, although more cafe style than hotel buffet. Our room was spotless, bed comfy, we had Netflix on the TV etc. Lovely ambience in the pool area, with jazz music playing. Hotel is small so never felt too busy. Staff fantastic, very helpful.

The shower did not always have hot water, at times it was lukewarm at best. The breakfast was more cafe style than the usual hotel buffet, so choice a bit more limited, but it was delicious and the coffee was great. Bar closed a little early, but you're right in the middle if Cartagena so its not really a problem, and there was a decent mini bar in all rooms.

Can’t say enough good things about this small gem of a hotel. From our late night arrival, with an airport pick-up arranged by the hotel, to our four nights in a beautiful “classic” room, this hotel met and exceeded all our expectations. Perfect location in the walled old town, in a beautifully restored Spanish home with a green and cool central courtyard featuring a small pool! Breakfast prepared by the onsite cafe featured many delicious options. Staff were without exception friendly and well trained, and eager to make our stay pleasant.

Really, everything was excellent. A small issue with the bill (a few extra charges beyond what Booking.com said we would pay) was swiftly resolved with no argument.

This hotel certainly met expectations. It is a beautiful luxury boutique hotel. The staff was attentive and I really liked their model for meals. Instead of providing breakfast, they provide you with a credit at the attached cafe which has some of the best coffee I've had in my life. The food is also incredible. The pool is intimate and really lovely. We really enjoyed our stay.

The floors weren't as clean as I would have preferred upon arrival so we asked housekeeping to pay special attention to that for the next day and they did. It wasn't a huge deal and they were responsive to our request.
