The hotel is about 20 minutes bus ride from Dubrovnik old city. There is a bus (No.6) that runs every 10 minutes or so to the Pile Gate. The bus stop is a short walk from the hotel. The guys on the front desk are extremely helpful, and have a good sense of humour!! The new outdoor swimming pool opened the day after we arrived. It was lovely to be able to swim in the morning before breakfast and in the afternoon after a hot day in the old city. The rest of the outdoor amenities are still under construction, but we were not disturbed by the noise. The breakfast was a good selection of hot and cold food and always refilled. The shower was one of the few that I have used that did not result in a flooded bathroom floor!!

The hotel has a grassed area and a few strategically placed loungers would have been nice as this area is shaded by the building from the afternoon sun. I could visualize myself lying there in the shade reading, as the pool area is mainly in full sun, and of course umbrellas have to be moved continually if you want to stay in the shade.

Bed mattress needed attention, springs protruding . Lifts need cleaning more, tiling instead of carped, Bacon at breakfast was always over done or under done, otherwise breakfast had lots of choice, some redevelopment going on with adjacent buildings and around pool, did not disturb when we were there as seemed to have downed tools for the week but would be noisy if not. Gate through park to the sea would have been nice if it was opened, make it a more accessible routs. We were a 45 minute walk into Dubrovnik or a 10 minute bus ride. Lovely walk and easily done, Lots of local amenities, supermarkets, shops, restaurants, bus stop, and a beautiful promenade walk around the whole coast

Staff was very nice, despite forgetting our wake up call in the morning so we could make or day trip. Room was very spacious. Did not really get cleaned every day, but fresh towels were replaced daily and beds were fluffed daily. Breakfast was positively wonderful. Very appealing and tasty. Location could not have been better. Perfect for our needs. View was wonderful. Pools were clean and refreshing despite no railings at all.

Air conditioning did not work most of the time. Mini bar leaked often resulting in towels needing to be placed on floor to avoid slipping. Rails on the pool would have been nice for us elderly to get in and out easier.

My partner and I stayed here for three nights recently. We arrived early however the manager, who I must compliment and thank for his professionalism and his assistance at the front desk, kindly said we could leave our bags there and use one of the bathrooms to get changed if we wished. We had a car and there was plenty of car parking space Room itself was fabulous. Room 703 I think. Top floor overlooking the pool and the sea. It has a stunning view of the area. The room was modern and comfortable. Air con worked fine as well. Found the mattresses a bit on the hard side but I think that's more of a preference. The bed was a double bed as I requested so no complaints there really. There is some building/renovation going on next door however this did not impact the view or our stay in any way. Outdoor pool was warm and while we didn't use it the gym and indoor pool were too quality based on our observations. Location is good. It's about 3 mins walk to the sea and numerous bars/restaurants/shops. Bus stop to town is five/10 Mins away. You can cut through the shop car park which saves time. Overall no problem in recommending and if we return to Dubrovnik/Lapad we would happily book this hotel again

Beautiful view, spotless room with plenty space, tea & coffee making facilities, plenty towels and excellent cleaning service daily. Fabulous spa and leisure facilities. Two beautiful out door pools and excellent bed service free of charge with fresh towels daily and umbrellas. Outdoor restaurant with great staff and food. Great breakfast and plenty to choose from to set you up for the day. The hotel is situated in the most amazing place with spectacular views and walks. Swimming a must and only a short walk away. Bus service to Dubrovnik about 5 mins walk away. Plenty restaurants with excellent food and drinks on your doorstep.

The room i paid for has sea view facing the Adriatic sea. Perfect spot to view sunset. The room was nice, exquisitely well prepared and very comfortable. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was amazing. It’s right next to the beach, close to the port and one bus ride (bus #6) to the Old Town.

They didn’t give heads up on the construction that’s currently on going so at 7am you hear all the construction noise next to you instead of some needed long sleep during holiday. The pool wasn’t available and I honestly was looking forward to it. So that was the disappointing part. Wish there was a way to inform guests on these kind of things because there are factors why guest chose certain accommodations too.

building work by pool of a new pool bar. very annoying when trying to relax by pool. no facilities to buy a drink by pool. no fridge in room- they have a box which is supposed to keep cool things cool, but did not do the trick. a 4 star hotel with no fridge!. Found the air conditioning was not strong enough. Not sure this will be comfortable for those guests in peak summer temps. house keeping knocking door at 0830 to make the room every morning. Became annoying.

Lovely hotel staff friendly and helpful,bed comfortable,great view, get the number 4 bus into the old town at the back of the hotel because its not as packed as the number 6

Building works going on around the pool which was closed,work started around 8am and doesnt stop until around 6pm theres noway to sit and relax outside in this hotel and if you are going for a sea swim bring swimming shoes.the hotel should let quests know how extensive the building works are

Location, room and staff were great. Close to Lapad beach and local restaurants.

Breakfast unfortunately was terrible. Although there were a lot of choices, the breakfast was terrible and me and my husband often skipped breakfast. Also the main pool outside is under construction so we were unable to use this during our stay. Had we known, we would've booked elsewhere.
