Luxurious and quality decor. Beautiful sea view. Decadent. Staff helpful in multiple languages 24hour. Usage of all Royal facilities. Quiet efficient lifts. Quality and choice of food available. Pools clean. Close to bus stops for easy reach into old town. Quality toiletries. Mini bar available. Roomy balcony. As of August 2023: €2 one way into old town. €20 taxi from ferry port. €45 taxi to airport.

Breakfast is chaotic! Like herding ants! But not the hotels fault, and so much choice of quality food items, even a bubbly drink! Beach is rocks and concrete.

Hotel was fantastic! I travelled off season, so there was no crowds and I was able to get good sunbed spots everytime of the day and good table at breakfast. Room was absolutely stunning, big and comfy bed and room itself was big and clean and decoration was great. And even though I didn't reserve a room with a ocean view I still got partial ocean view from balcony which was great bonus. Staff were helpful and I got to use all of the hotel amenities after checking out since my flight left in evening. Dubrovnik old town is easy to acces by bus from hotel. Hotel is located in beautiful area, and most of my time I just spent strolling around and sunbathing and eating. If you are looking for easy holiday, sunbathing and good quality hotel, then this is it. But if you are looking for more activities and city life and nightclubs and bars, choose some other hotel. All in all, great excperience and I would go again!

Prices at the restaurants at the hotel and resort were a bit high compared to prices at the area itself. If you walk away from the resort you can find few restaurants nearby that have lower prices and food is still good or even a bit better because those restaurants are local and not owned by any chains

This is a resort type hotel with spacious rooms and good room service, friendly and always ready to help staff, nice views, nature and facilities: various indoor and outdoor pools, different restaurants and bars, sauna, gym, a rooftop bar with stunning sunset views and a pool. We especially liked the rocky style beach with sun-beds on the rocks which we hadn't experienced before in other hotels. Looked exotic. The bus station was in a minute from the hotel (last station) and the public bus service was excellent. So, the hotel has a convenient location and is in around 15-20 minutes by bus from Dubrovnik Old Town.

The buffet breakfast was nice per se (though exactly the same every day) but the breakfast venue was really overcrowded after 9 am. Also, there were flies all around, especially on openly present cold food (e.g. cheese, sausages). Even though the hotel and the venue were really clean and we hadn't questioned that, these flies on food looked unsanitary. I believe that in case the hotel cannot combat the flies, they need to come up with a solution to cover the openly present food the same way the warm food (porridge, eggs, vegetables etc.) was covered. There were no glasses for water in Sauna.

The breakfast was unreal. Great choice. Very fresh. We loved the roof top pool so much we are returning to the sister hotel the Royal Neptun( in a few days -couldn’t get the Ariston) on our return journey. Unfortunately arrived on our return to find that the sister hotel had cancelled our booking ( we had paid in full and confirmed late arrival). We were given a lesser room in a not as nice a hotel. It ruined what had been a lovely experience with this hotel group. If you want to ensure you definitely have your room book elsewhere.

It was perfect. On our return-Didn’t like the fact that the hotel group could cancel your booking, not inform you until arrival at night and place you in a total different hotel ( not even their hotel group).

Even though I booked the room in the Royal Ariston hotel, I was transferred to Royal Princess hotel (there are 5 hotels next to each other). I arrived early morning but ladies at reception were very kind and provided me with a breakfast voucher. I received an upgraded room, i.e. suite. The view from the balcony was amazing! I had a separate air conditioning options in the living room and in the bedroom which was good as I could regulate the temperature and not worry about blocked nose due to ac in the morning. The hotel was close to the Sunset beach and a path with beautiful panoramic views was leading straight from the hotel to the beach and Lapad center with multiple cafes and restaurants. Breakfast was decent, although nothing extraordinary to highlight.

The day I arrived I noticed a nail cut next to the sofa, and it remained there for a few days until I threw it away. So obviously vacuuming wasn't done thoroughly enough after previous guests. However, during my stay the young lady that was doing cleaning was exceptional, very accurate and efficient.

Everything was great. Because we were there off season we got an upgrade on our rooms. The room we were in was one of the best ones I've been to. So much space, with two bathrooms and also a balcony and amazing sea view. The breakfast was also really good with good quality food. You could also order Eggs Benedict without having to pay extra. The location is really nice as well, between pine trees and seafront. The staff were all very polite and friendly and ready to help. The city is also very near, either with car or with the public bus. All in all great stay and I would recommend!

Absolutely GORGEOUS property with loads of amazing sea views and lounge areas. I still cannot get over the sunset view at the reception balcony! The Royal Ariston is part of the “Royal” Hotels group (Royal Princess and Royal blue) so we got access to all other restaurants and pools included in our stay. The spa services were top notch. Our stay included access to the indoor pools, two saunas and a steam room with complementary lemon water and a different selection of teas. My two friends also got full body massages and said it was the best they’ve had so far. Breakfast was amazing with a range of different options including a champagne bar! Staff were lovely and really helpful with taking bags up to the room at check in and then holding them for us during check out. It’s literally only a 10 min drive from old town and only 30 mins from the airport.

I wish we had a better view from our room but I suppose we could have with an upgrade so not really a complaint for the hotel.

this hotel is the perfect location. The rooms with the sea view are amazing but try and request from 3rd floor up as they have the best views. the breakfast buffet was great. The pool areas were great with lots of space this time of year. They give you a towel for the pool so no need to bring any. You can swim in pool or in the sea where they have stairs from the rocky area. The hotel was very helpful and friendly. There are other hotel bars and rooms you can go to so worth checking out the whole resort.

Thought they needed a better system with the queuing at the coffee stations maybe a different area for hot water.

It was our 4th time with the Royal group (twice with Royal Neptun and once with Royal Blue before) & we would come again. The room was lovely & clean. The cleaning Lady provided coffee & milk every day. We had sea view which is such a nice treat. The beds were really comfortable. Breakfast is always superbusy because people from all the hotels are coming together, but they had enough staff on & enough supply at the buffet was always provided. One of my previous comments (from previous visits) was that breakfast buffet can get a bit samey - this time the fruit variied every day & I’ve noticed that it caters more for vegetarians now too (different salads & spreads etc every day!!) - so well done for listening to your guests. There was champagne/prosecco & different little cakes every morning too which was a lovely treat. :-)

Nothing. - That we had to leave. ;-)

Loved this hotel being on the sea with comfortable choice of swimming in a range of pools and in sea. Sun beds on rocks in front of sea by far made this hotel, stunning views from sun lounger/ pool bar/ breakfast area and room (sea view) Location was lovely with a hidden promenades walk all the walk to Lopard and famous Cave Bar few minutes walk. 10minute taxi to old town Dubrovnik, hotel orders taxi and arrive within minutes, very easy. Sea view room on 5th floor was stunning, very modern and clean. Large selection of foods for breakfast. Stayed ; nights before traveling to Hvar and ended up rebooking our last night upon return from Hvar here again as enjoyed it so much
