Stunning location and fantastic hotel amenities, great hotel restaurants.

There was nothing we didn’t like. One thing to be aware of is that the location is secluded and there are no shops or restaurants nearby other than those in the hotel. Prices were very expensive.

We received a very warm welcome from the team at Sun Gardens Dubrovnik and they could not have been more helpful during our 4 day stay. The facilities were great and we enjoyed use of the sports club, spa, pools and restaurants. The location was ideal to enjoy the coastline and wonderful views, but was also a very short drive to the Dubrovnik Old Town.

The view is mind-blowing. Breakfasts are good. Many restaurants on the territory.

Hotel was fantastic with wonderful views. The deluxe room with sea view was amazing and there was plenty of room at the swimming pools. Breakfast was fantastic with a great range of options. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

The location does not allow for walking to any other facilities. For example, there is no pharmacy in or near the hotel so you need to get a taxi if you require a pharmacy as there are limited footpaths to the next town. There isn’t a great choice of restaurants in the hotel. Yes there are 5 however, most are not serving meals that will suit children. A lot of “fine dining”. Only 1 Italian which most people went to. A subsidised bus to the town would be great as visitors could have a better choice of restaurants. The hotel hosted a couple of company conferences while we were there and there was noise from these people late onto the night.

If you’re thinking of booking here, do it! The resort is beautiful. Multiple pools to enjoy, really liked that the saunas / cold pools in the spa were included in the hotel rate. The breakfast… amazing! Enjoyed their fitness studio, they have portable equipment as well as a selection of cardio equipment and free weights. We arrived early, our room wasn’t ready but the staff stored our luggage. We were able to use the lockers in the spa while we waited, and they even offered use the showers if we needed. We enjoyed time at the pool until the room was ready. The manager Ana, which I sadly didn’t get to meet in person went above and beyond for customer service. We were celebrating our honeymoon and the hotel provided a complimentary treat and extended our check out so we could spend more time at the resort before our flight. Everything was perfect, looking forward to our stay again in the future. Thank you to Ana and her team!

Breakfast was excellent. The concierge (Ema) and reception staff are especially very good. We used the beach every day where the Mexican/Canadian boy (the name does not come to me right now) exceptionally stood out

The beach had 2 piers/docks to go swimming; one was closed for a private party for 3-4 days, and 5-star hotel guests were not allowed to go into the water from there. One day, even, nobody came, the whole place was isolated while the rest of the beach was crowded with hotel guests. The beachfront is pebbly and rocky (not sandy), especially when it is wavy, going in/out of the sea is quite challenging. The other pier/dock is open to the public, no complaints on that front but it gets quite crowded. I found the closure of one pier absurd and vain.

Everything !!! It’s a big facility with so many restraunts , pools and wonderful sports centre with the outstanding Marco club for kids, I swear you go mad by the kids club service , I mean they have 3 classroom for different age groups and they don’t take lot of kids , you need to book the slot to let your kid to be part of the club.Super clean and safe, it is chargeable for the kids with diaper though. Right from the check in , the porters were so kind while talking , then the checkin staff so polite , then later we had issues with the room (we wanted the view we booked instead of the upgraded 2 room apartment )so Antonio helped us to provide new room next day, he was kind enough to send fruits and chocolate to our new room due to the trouble we faced. The porter guys were so so kind , I mean wow !! Hope I remember there names. They have a beautiful beach and excursion facility , the room view is mesmerising and the kitchen was almost fully equipped. The housekeeping will each time make your room brand new based on your cleaning preference. Parking is so convenient and free of charge. Checkout process with Adriana was pleasing too.

There is not a thing which I don’t like in the hotel but as a guest I am sharing points incase the hotel wants to improve on something. -Good have a site map on the web app indicating the stroller routes ,it saves time to see the entire hotel facility when you are on short stay. -Washing machines may be , laundry room kind of , laundry rates are too high for long stays. -Drinking Water rate inside the supermarket is super expensive. -free indoor kids zone may be.

Great complex with amazing views, lovely selection of indoor and outdoor pools with views across the sea, huge room. Great bar service to sun loungers, food and drink (although pricey).

If not staying in the hotel there is a long walk up from the pool to some rooms via a lot of steps, can’t just pop back to the room. Very very expensive onsite shop. Lovely location but unable to walk anywhere outside of the complex other than to the bakers (which is amazing). No local shops, restaurants or bars within walking distance. Sometimes difficult to get an Uber being so far out and hotel transport prices very expensive.

Reception and breakfast staff friendly and helpful; room, breakfast and sports centre excellent.

Many restaurants, but expensive, especially if feeding a family of 5. Quality of food variable; Verandah restaurant v good. Food at beach/pool delivered in cardboard cartons with disposable cutlery etc - seems very wasteful. 20 euros for a chicken wrap v expensive. Journey to and from old town Dubrovnik was more difficult and expensive to navigate than expected. Constant music by the swimming pools was annoying.

Stunning resort with first class services throughout. Staff go above & beyond to make your holiday extra special - super attentive, friendly & always with a smile on their faces. Bedrooms were beautifully decorated with stunning views over the sea. Handy shuttle bus into town at a very reasonable price & a great selection of restaurants/bars onsite. Special thank you to the team for the room upgrade and the wine & chocolates upon arrival - great breakfast on the roof terrace with super 360 views. Would highly recommend the place & can’t wait to return.
