This is a fabulous hotel with extremly friendly, kind and welcoming staff which made us feel very much at home. We had a split level room as we were travelling with our two children. We had complimentary free water every day which was very welcome. The pool is small but really refreshing and you have the view of the sea which is just over the road. The location is very quiet, yet in walking distance to the beach, the harbour and the old city which is very convenient. The breakfast was really nice and had a big variety of foods for everyone. We didn't eat in the restaurant in the evenings but had snacks/small meals from the bar which were really nice, along some lovely cocktails. Definitely recommend staying here again when visiting Split

The room was really great but for 4 people would have gotten a little bit small when staying longer. We only had 4 nights and since we only used it for sleeping in it was OK. The master bed is huge and due to it being on the top mezzanine never felt crowded so this is only the tiniest of things.

We got a different room than the one we bookedz. Breakfast with room service was nice but complicated to order without any menu through the phone.

Staff on arrival was very bothered by us, older guy with a sour face on the reception barely said hi. This was our wedding night so he killed our mood very fast. We emailed several times prior to our stay asking for a later check out (since we came from our wedding), we got no reply. We asked again on arrival and the reception irritaded said we need to call when we wake up. In the morning we called and got a plain no. Just not a good location for a wedding night. We paid 340€ for one night and had higher expectations, atleast an ok attitude. Cleaning staff was also rude unfortunately.

We stayed in the room with large terrace and a hot tab. I was surprised to discover that sitting room also had it's own large green terrace with sunbeds overlooking the sea. The room was very quite at night despite being close to road. Bedding super comfortable. A/C worked effortlessly, no issues with setting and adjusting temperatures. Breakfast was delicious and it was a good selection of fresh fruit/veg, variety of cheeses, cold meats, smoked salmon and other marinated small fish. I especially enjoyed honey comb and strong breakfast tea. Green shaded area outside the main building (breakfast area).

I think it would be a good idea to add some deck umbrellas on the green terrace for the rooms that have access to the green side. Otherwise you can't really spent too much time there (too hot).

Hotel Split was a beautifully appointed centric located hotel, two minutes away from the beach. It was about a 10 minute walk to the green market, and about 15 minutes into the center of old town split. The Marina was approximately 12 minutes away walking distance.

Although breakfast each morning was delightful, with the additional surprise of mimosas and Bloody Mary’s offered , I found their dinner menu options and room service items to be underwhelming. I had two meals at the hotel outside of breakfast, food was edible, just okay. Much better food in the Old town or around the Marina.  Although I knew I would have a small single twin room, the room was organized well.

The hotel was really beautiful and the location great: not in the most crowded area but 10-15 min walk away from the old town. The breakfast was excellent, the pool area very nice, and the reception staff was helpful. My room was more spacious than expected (a two-floor room for one), beautiful and clean.

For some reason, one of the waitresses at the breakfast kept ignoring me: she served coffee for everyone else but not me, and looked annoyed when I walked to ask for coffee. A minor complaint but it was weird and not the 5-star hotel experience.

Location of the hotel was perfect, front of the beach, walking distance to center Split. Hotel was great, service was excellent and staff was naturally very kind. From breakfast in the terrasse garden, to pool, spa, and the rest of the hotel everything was just perfect.... and what i was looking for.

The only minus i would say as sole traveler is that with my sole reservation, i had only the choice of single room, which usually i take sea view king bed and i pay for it elsewhere. (The floor of the room may be changed)

Good location. Over the road from a very popular beach (tho no beds) & with several good bistro-type restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Room very comfortable with iron, tea & coffee & water replenished daily. Good-sized bathroom with bath & separate shower. Small pool in pleasant gardens. Breakfast - good variety & quality with option of freshly cooked omelette etc. Staff very friendly & helpful.

Room a little cluttered & quite dark. Not really enough beds for the pool. Object to paying 20 euros a day for parking, but that’s not uncommon.

Great service, staff very attentive, good location close to split old town and ferry port.. Luxurious feel to hotel. Complimentary water every day. Breakfast is very good and plenty of choice. Accommodated our son last minute without charge which was pleasantly unexpected.

Hot breakfast menu not obvious, could be placed on tables. Although close to a bacvice beach the beach has no sunbeds or unmbrellas. Limited number of sunbeds around pool.

Staff attentive and supportive ( fofáveis lots of touristic info), cleanliness , breakfast, comfortable bed, walking distance to Riva

One waiter was rude in the pool bar and looked at me like I was doing something so wrong when I was Relaxing and reading my book with my feet on the coffee table asking me to put my legs down. In the same day and coming ones I saw other people doing the same (men) but he did not dare say a word. Probably if I was with my husband he would have behaved differently

I loved this hotel. Our room was gorgeous and a good size. It was well equipped, the bed was perfect and the air conditioning was quiet. I slept so well every night as our room was so quiet. I hardly heard other guests. There was a great selection for breakfast and the staff were very helpful, particularly at breakfast time. The pool was great although may not suit families with small children. The hotel was a 10-15 minute walk from the Old Town and there was a beach directly opposite the hotel. We only ever used this beach for a quick swim which was perfect. Overall we were really happy with this hotel and would definitely recommend it to friends and would book it again.
