The aesthetics of Amara are a true architectural feat. There wasn't a single design and decor taste error. Of course it helps if you like the luxury contemporary look. All materials used are crafted with excellence. Every corner of Amara contains well thought through details which surprise you at every turn. It's so wonderful and playful too. The views are incredible and make you feel upgraded when you step into one. The pools are wonderfully built to separate guests from one another, on a series of terraced platforms scattered about the back sea facing gardens; the restaurants are full of very well trained staff at your beck and call. Nobu Matsuhisa's very popular and refined Japanese Peruvian fusion restaurant has its own entrance around the corner but still attached to the hotel (as a guest there's a secret passage to it!. The concierge knows you by name and room (207 rooms!) and can make reservations for you anywhere at the bat of an eyelid. Nothing ever seems like a problem. The rooms all have amazing views and there's a pillow menu for your very very comfortable bed in a huge "standard" room. Amara is a world unto itself and should be discovered slowly. Like the spa, with its sleek and darkened indoor pool, its sauna and the small gym rooms where you can indulge in your own program with weights and yoga mats or something more strenuous in the main treadmill/machines room. Your magnetic card gives you access to all gates protecting guests from outsiders when you want a dip in the sea. Every staff member has been briefed to answer your needs or call someone who knows how to. I can only imagine how management must be a tightly run mothership, motivating their very happy looking staff. "We'll be back" is an overstated phrase but I mean it this time!! Bravo 👏🏻👏🏻🎊🎊 Amara.

One small tech detail: the phone was on a permanent loudspeaker and I couldn't figure it out....

Everything was wonderful

Children allowed in the spa from 11-6pm. Should be less so guests can enjoy a peaceful, calm experience. The staff were understanding and let us use the relaxing area by the treatment rooms. But I would have appreciated swimming and the jacuzzi without ball games and shouting.

Everything was just TOP. The room, the staff, the breakfast, the pool& sauna - just perfect The staff were super welcoming and made us feel like everything is possible here. No is not an answer you will hear often at Amara 🌸 Special thanks to iliana the 🍳 chef- you made our mornings with your warm hospitality and delishes breakfast eggs :))) And of course to the amazing Larisa the Yoga coach- what a fun & inspiring class!!!! You made us love yoga and acquire a new hobby- don’t miss out on the yoga class guys 🧘🏻‍♀️💙 I wish it was on the itinerary every day! So sad my vacation here is over and would definitely come again 🤞🙏

Maybe a really small thing- I would invest in better coffee- maybe a more quality machine/barista. I’m a coffee nerd so my expectation is much higher than the avg person- not a big deal at all 👌💙

A truly exceptional hotel, one of the best i have ever been to! The hotel is really beautiful in all aspects. The room was very spacious and luxurious. Wonderful swimming pool. The whole design of the hotel. The view of the sea from the room which was so beautiful. The staff since they will go the extra mile to make you feel special. Complimentary drinks (eg the mini bar) and sweets in the room. At night we stayed in the hotel and at the bar they had some enjoyable live music. etc Overall it is a luxury hotel which may seem expensive to some but you have to remember you have a sea view room and a hotel made for customers who want to enjoy luxury! It is not an ordinary 5 star hotel, it is beyond that.

Beautifully designed property, everything was to the highest standard, incredible staff, super food, incredibly comfortable.

There are three gates from the property to the beach that require a key code. Every button press creates an incredibly loud beep that can be heard from the loungers, from the pool, I had a bath one afternoon and could hear the gate beeps from my bathroom. Why on earth do the gates have to beep so loudly, it really shatters the calm and relaxation.

The facilities and rooms are incredible, the food is amazing and, most of all, the whole team of staff are incredible. Yes, you pay strong fees for being here, however, the level of service from everyone we came into contact with was fantastic. Special mention goes to Maya, and Katia in guest relations, Marios and Nicolas in the all-day restaurant, Stavros and Izzy in the cocktail bar, and Shedi and Dan at the pool. There were many more team members who did an excellent job of making us all feel very welcome (too many names to remember) so THANK YOU to EVERYONE. Stay here, you won't regret it.

The beach was waiting to be cleaned for the season so it was a little unclean in certain areas.

Amara is a great property. It is expensive, but the service is great overall. Well, apart from the Seafood Restaurant team. In contrast, the Nobu team (also at Amara) was amazing.

The seafood restaurant was a surprising disappointment. It positions and prices itself as a high-end dining establishment. Yet, the waiters managed to bring twice (!) a wrong type of cider. And the main course arrived without the sides! The kitchen simply forgot to prepare them. The sides finally arrived 20 minutes after the mains. We then had to wait for further 20 minutes for a bill. Overall, the level of service at the Seafood Restaurant is very low. The rest was fine.

Everything about the hotel is excellent standard beautiful decor to start, staff were amazing so polite and helpful. Pool staff were exceptional couldn’t do enough always there making sure we had everything we needed down to towels, food and drinks. Polina was amazing so polite and friendly. The pool food was excellent standard lovely choices to pick from and all delicious.

Nothing everything was amazing

Place is wonderful, quality of fixtures and fittings was faultless, sun beds were very very comfortable and plentiful. Staff extremely helpful, very engaged and passionate about their hotel - quite rightly . Hotel dining was excellent as was the breakfast.

Some small points: people hanging washing on balcony should not be tolerated. Kids playing ball games should be in a restricted area Pool dining - wooden knives and forks disappointing for a 5 star hotel

Breakfast and service were great, the staff always tried to go above and beyond of client's requests. So were the other dining spots. It's probably one of the top 3 hotels in Cyprus and due to large space it doesn't feel overcrowded

The location isn't great if you want to go for an evening walk and sit down in a nice local restaurant outside the hotel. It's not actually about the hotel and more about Limassol which lacks the traditional feel ie like in Paphos. The only thing I would suggest for improving in the hotel is to have a heated jacuzzi :)
