Lovely hotel, spacious room with a beautiful sea view. The room was immaculately clean. Enjoyed spending time on the balcony. Good location close to the old town. Great parking always spaces available. Breakfast was great. Staff very friendly and helpful. A slight issue at checkout but this was due to booking.com incompetence rather than any fault of the hotel.

Would prefer a more secure entry system such as key/swipe access to main hotel entrance. Door propped open from car park at night meaning any person could access the hotel. Would be nice to have a “do not disturb” sign to hang to refuse housekeeping if you wanted to sleep longer.

I recently enjoyed a fantastic stay at the excellent family hotel, Axiothea Hotel in Paphos. The location, perched on a hill with stunning sea views, was breathtaking. Lika Arjevanidze at the reception warmly welcomed me and provided invaluable local insights. My room was cozy and clean, offering all the comforts needed for a pleasant stay. Breakfast was delightful, featuring a diverse array of options. The staff, including Lika, were attentive and helpful throughout my stay, offering excellent recommendations for local activities and dining. I highly recommend Axiothea Hotel, especially with staff who go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. I look forward to returning on my next trip to Paphos.

Oh, that was amazing! I am so grateful to the hotel staff for making me feel like home 🙏😊 I was coming expecting nothing (assumed someone could not get much for the price I paid and I was so wrong! They have accommodated my late arrival and upgraded my room to the city/sea view 😍. Breakfast, daily cleaning, air conditioner, etc. i did not want to leave! I traveled a lot and seen a lot and, believe me, this hotel is very good! Thank you Axiothea for hosting me! Highly recommend!!

A kettle in the room would be nice (I love drinking tea in the evening). Other than that, it is all good 😊🙏

As usual, Michael and the staff were friendly, efficient and very effective. The sea views from the fourth floor were spectacular. The room was very clean, with a great rain shower. A recent upgrade to the WiFi meant a stronger signal in the room. The nearby development of the park next to the hotel enhanced the overall feel of the location at the centre of the old town. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of choices at the buffet. Airport pickup/drop-off, through the hotel was good value.

Limited English TV channels but the improved wifi enabled better use of my tablet to access media.

- Excellent sea view and town view as well! - Clean room and comfortable beds, where you can sleep all day if you want! Great cleaning staff, bravo! - Breakfast was adequate, not bad, not excellent - Staff was nice, eager to help for everything - Bathroom a bit small, but adequate, always having hot water with pressure

- A bit old furniture, could do with newer, but no issues with ants etc, issue which most hotels have when having old ones, so its not a really bad thing for this hotel - A bit noisy, due to young visitors, which is expected during holidays with kids etc, so its not really a hotel issue!

Our time was short and sweet but the room, views and the hotel itself are stunning and gorgeous place to stay - the staff were so helpful and very accommodating! Our flight was arriving late and then got delayed so we contacted them to let them know of this and were perfectly fine to rearrange our checking in time! The breakfast included was absolutely lovely and has a lovely view overlooking the city!

Not exactly a bad side but the property but the location is a little out of the way from beaches/attractions of Paphos, however closer to the centre so depending what you want to get out of your stay! This wasn’t something that affected us drastically as we only stayed overnight but could do for people wanting to stay longer.

Axiotheia is an absolute gem. Family run hotel with a good location in Paphos. 30 minutes walk to the seafront, 5 minutes walk to a Zorba bakery, next to two excellent restaurants (Muse and Koutourou Ouzeri) and with it's own free parking for guests. The rooms were lovely and spotlessly clean. I thought the hygiene standards were higher than in several 4-star hotels I've stayed. Rooms come with fridge and good-sized closet. Breakfast is served in a big room with a view over Paphos. For vegans and vegetarians, the breakfast has hummus, tahini, olives, cucumber, tomatoes, fruit salad, olives, cake, different cheeses, eggs and bread. The people who run the hotel are very friendly and welcoming. I can only recommend this place!

The breakfast was varied and tasty. Every day, they had different fruits, cakes, and many drink choices and cereals. The staff was very helpful and chill. The owner waited for one of our late check-in until almost 4 am. Rooms were cleaned every day, and towels were changed often. The bath gels, shampoos, etc...were of good quality. The bed was comfy, and most importantly, the AC worked well.

Nothing. Everything was good. The only thing is that the hotel is on a hill and it might be uncomfortable for people with disabilities.

Very clean, very comfy and atmospheric. Close to the old town (means not close to the beaches). Breakfast was included and was pretty diverse and delicious. The staff was nice and helpful. The view from the ground floor was stunning; the view from my balcony was pretty nice (not the sea view side, but I still could see the sea from the sides).

Wifi connection in the room was super poor (extremely slow and sporadic). Due to the location, might be hard to reach for people who don’t like staircases or going uphill (for me, it was the pleasant part though).

Excellent amenities and services, at reasonable prices; free wifi, free parking (albeit limited spaces, but we didn't have any issues finding a spot throughout our stay - you don't need it anyway since almost everything is within walking distance), clean and air-conditioned rooms and hotel overall, breakfast included, the rooms also include a clothing iron and a hair dryer. Fantastic scenic sea views and city views from our balcony and hotel breakfast area. Moreover, it has a beautiful historic interior and exterior architecture, it is a stone's throw away from the buzzing day and night life of the city (areas such as Mousallas and Agora) and a short drive of approximately 10-15 minutes to Kato Paphos, which further offers blue flag beaches, marina / promenade and historic sightseeing. The staff are very personable, accommodating and welcoming; Hotel Axiothea is a family-run business! Suitable for anyone - group of friends, couples, families and professionals alike - there is a small playground for children in a beautifully lit park and a couple of friendly cats right opposite the hotel, and within the park's grounds there is also a picturesque, free-entry museum and further historic and modern sightseeing. We will definitely visit again, many thanks for such a memorable stay! :)
