It's actually a set of buildings connected to each other through underground tunnels. Meaning you can hop in your swimming clothes and get to the swimming pool, which is located in the other building, without going outside. The staff is friendly and polite. They are helpful in answering all your questions. There is a free parking available for around 15 cars. If every spot is taken, you can use their paid parking or buy a week (or two) in one of the underground garages nearby (for instance on the Libusina street, which is about 10 min walking time). But I suggest you just pay for a day at their parking space (costs 10 euro) and then place your car on the free spot, when it becomes available. Just pay attention to the placed cleaning signboards. They clean streets on the dates shown on these signs (happens once every two weeks or so). When they do and your car is parked on the street (free parking), they will call a truck and tow your car away. Restaurant menu has a very decent choice of items. From different quarks, porridges and eggs (cooked differently) to different sausages, meats, cheeses and a lot healthy sweets (prepared with fruit and not much sugar and dough) for breakfast. Coffee is only available in the morning. As for the other two meals, they are also quite diverse and include 2 different soups each day, among other things. The location is near the top of the mountain and provides a great view. It is also much more calm, compared to the city centre, which is 0,8-1 km below. Note: 1km might seem close, but you are in the mountains. If you have trouble walking, then do take the bus to the city centre. The busstop is right near the hotel entrance. The hotel is part of the chain, which includes Hotel Imperial (the castle, located at the very top of the mountain). The gym in the Blue House is closed, but I heard you can make use of the gym belonging to the same chain, nearby. I haven't tried it and can't tell you the specifics.

I pretty much liked everything, but the toilets are rather child-friendly and their height felt a bit low for me. But it might be just me.

The hotel is located approximately 15 minutes' walk from the center of the spa resort. It consists of three buildings (Green House, Blue House and Mercedes) connected by underground corridors. There is also a swimming pool and saunas in one of the buildings (Mercedes). The water in the pool is clean, but certainly with a lower temperature than what is written on the board. Rooms are clean but no AC. Breakfast solid, occasionally crowded. The hotel has its own paid and guarded parking lot. There is also a bus stop next to the hotel for faster access to the center.

Nice spa resort in a calm place. the staff was friendly and provided all the necessary information, room was cozy and clean, the breakfast was really good. We got a good relax in a spa zone. We also took a supper for 390 kc per person, and we did not regret. It was also good! I saw a feedback, that there is no price list for a mini bar. It is there. You can find it if you turn on a TV and select the 1st channel (this information can be found in the instruction that is given on reception while check in).

The only thing that can be uncomfortable - if you travel by public transport, you should go up on foot for a while from the city center, but for us it was not a big deal.

The hotel is very historical and is around some gorgeous nature. The spa service I used, a hot stone massage, was amazing. They have such a range of options. I'd say it's a hotel more for older people but as a younger person I enjoyed it. The free breakfast was very nice. In general, the staff knows German, English, Czech and Russian.

Information about buses on the website. It was difficult to know which buses to take and google maps doesn't help. I used the official karlovy vary transportation website but still was difficult. I would say just add a section on which stops/buses to use to get there for visitors. From an accessibility standpoint, it's a hilly area with no wheelchair accessible curbs on the sidewalks. This is just to give accessibility information as a disabled traveler for other disabled people - the ramped road up to the hotel is hilly and uneven stones/pavement. To access the hotel, again no curbs that I remember and definitely not wheelchair accessible elevator. I use a cane and found it easy to navigate the hotel.

I absolutely must prize the staff in the restaurant and superb quality and choice of the breakfast and dinner. Choice, setting, ambience and attentivness of all staff at the restaurant. Chefs did marvelous job with the multiple choices of meat, veg and fish food, everything very clean and all tasty.

I thought it was strange that there was a coffee machine in the room but you need to buy coffee capsules at the bar. I think a kettle and a few bags of coffee and tea in the room would make it so much more pleasant. This is not hotel fault, but I thought for such a big facility, steam sauna of 2 x 0.5 metre was extremely claustrophobic, not sure what the designer was thinking when designing such a miniscule steam sauna.

A nice location in a quiet area. A 10-15 minutes walking distance from the central part of Karlovy Vary. It is possible to use a bus with a ticket bougth at the reception. Plenty of different food options to choose for a breakfast (buffet) -- fresh and tasty. There is an option to have lunch and dinner for an extra payment (from my taste, it was more delicious and cheap, compating to the restraunts in the city). It is a spa resort with its own set of spa procedures -- can be preodered in a package or selected what one wants at the place. Own swimming pool. Staff is friendly and helpful.

We lived on the first floor, the towel warmer did not work in the bathroom - as a result, dampness was felt in the room. We stayed for 2 nights, so didn't complain. But for a long stay, that might be a problem.

The hotel was a bigger property and having the spa was nice after a long cold day. Breakfast and dinner was good. Overall a good stay and decent value. The wait staff in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner were really great. Good customer service! Oh and there was a band that played in the hotel bar that was entertaining and unexpected.

The bartender/waiter in the bar was a bit rude. He seemed annoyed we only ordered a water. Unfortunately we couldn’t drink due to medication or else we would! However, felt a bit unwelcome for only ordering a water. When we checked out, we turned in both our room keys. They specifically charged us for parking at check out, but they never told us we needed our key to exit the parking lot. This was only frustrating because they had us park at the far away parking lot downhill, so we had to call and wait for someone to come to the lot to let us out. They simply should have said to keep one key and drop it in the drop box when exiting. It must have slipped their mind. Minor inconvenience overall, still would stay there again

Information about spa facilities & pricing is not publicly available. You get them only as you checkin. The public spa (pool, one small bubble tub, a small steam room & sauna room) this is what you get with the room package, all rest is payable& you must reserve. No possibility to order food in the room, restaurant offers buffet package only(no menu), but food was very good.

We bookex 2 rooms one was big another one not. The hotel staff was friendly. The rooms were clean.

One of two rooms we booked was way smaller and didn't have enough cleaning sets provided. Additionally as we were family members they reserved our rooms in totally different directions. Swimming pool and sauna were ok but staff was not friendly there. You need some tubes for the kids.

All in house. Breakfast was plentiful, so you could find some thing for sure. Spa was never too crowded. Karlovy Vary old town in walking distance (10 min) and some local restaurants nearby. Supermarket 10 min walking. Good for parking.

Bit of a modern look would be nice. Looks pretty 90s and still has that old eastern European flair. When we have been there, there was a noisy group singing and drinking till after midnight.
