I stayed in high season (end of June) and this hotel is about 7 or 8 mins walk from the clocktower square and about a 4 minute walk from various trams and the river - just enough distance to be quiet at night. It's on a small square with a few pretty and quiet restaurants in front and two lovely outdoor bars behind in old buildings around an olive tree. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. When my air-conditioning broke, they gave me the pedestal fan from reception, which was excellent. You can also open the windows to air the room. Rooms are surprisingly large and spacious. Feels very historic. Nice little fridge not over-filled like in other hotels, so you can actually use it yourself. Excellent breakfast in the atmospheric basement. I am a vegetarian and was well catered for. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Basically, everything! The hotel was in a lovely, pretty quiet square within the Old Town, a short stroll from Charles Bridge as well as cafes, restaurants, shops, and then a little further to the Old Town Square. The hotel and room decor is gorgeous and just as indicated in the hotel's photos online with beautiful wood trimmings, medieval touches such as swords hung on the walls, stone flooring in most parts and a basement/cellar where the daily breakfast was served. The breakfast was great and a lot more than I expected with a cooked & cold buffet selection, including breads, crepes, spreads, cereals, fruits, yoghurt, pastries, eggs (boiled & fried), bacon, sausages, and drinks (juices, coffee, tea). The room was very spacious with AC, handy for the warm summer days & nights I had while there. The bed was very comfortable with great bedding. The bathroom was provisioned with towels and toiletries, and the shower was good. The staff were friendly and always greeted me on entry & exit each day with a smile.

The only thing I would have liked is to have been able to open the window in my room - I only managed to open half of the first internal window and then couldn't open the second external window because it was blocked. Just a personal preference to not always use AC.

Lovely old building, renovated sympathetically. Central heating, heated towel rack, air con, hairdryer in bathroom, comfi bed, excellent coffee machine at buffet breakfast. Glass elevator, old style room. Large wardrobe, desk and TV. Clean tiled bathroom, full bath & shower. Plenty of hot water. Free toiletries, good quality towels and bedlinen. Helpful reception staff. Excellent location.

Could have benefited from a wider variety of fresh fruit at breakfast. And some oil on the door hinges, lots of squeaky doors.

The hotel is placed very close to the main square (mostly 10 min. walk), in the old town, surrounded with restaurants and pubs. Also very close to Karluv Most (Charles Bridge - 7 min. walk), and to Narodni Trida subway station (there is a supermarket there too). Though, the area is quiet over night. Great quality/price rate (I made my reservation about 6 weeks before arriving in Prague). It is a vintage atmosphere hotel, with cosy rooms and decent bathroom, nice personnel. Good breakfast. I would stay there at another visit in Prague, due to the very good position and price.

wifi is a bit poor, i had to use my phone network (it wasn' a big issue for me, but could be a big problem for not EU citizens). also, in my room the tv didn't work (maybe because of the batteries in the remote). the shower cable should be changed, too :)

We stayed at the hotel for three nights and loved our time there! The decor was unique, rustic and homey-feeling, and our room ended up being larger and more spacious than we had expected which was a nice surprise. The room actually felt more like a small apartment as there was an entrance hallway, bedroom and bathroom with bath. There is a working glass lift as well as stairs. The breakfast was included in our stay and it was buffet style with various types of food, very vegetarian friendly, for vegans however there would not be much other than the bread and baked beans unfortunately. There were various delicious pastries, crepes you could make yourself with jam or nutella options for filling, cereal, fried breakfast options, baked beans, yogurts, toast and even marble cake. There were juice options available also (orange and apple), but these weren't the best so we opted instead for water. The location was pretty central, with everything in a 15-20 minute walking distance. Some affordable restaurants were also within a 5 minute walk. As a final note, the reception staff were happy to store our luggage downstairs for the day when we checked out as we had a late flight, which was greatly appreciated.

Other than the fruit juices at breakfast not being of the best quality, no complaints. A note, however, that there is a local area charge for visiting Prague which we didn't know about that we had to pay when checking in, but this wasn't the hotel's fault (came to about £12 for both of us the three nights we were there).

Fantastic location - within the beautiful Old Town & less than 5 minutes minute walk to all to the main attractions - the Astrological Clock Square, Charles Bridge & Wenceslas Square. Hotel itself is a lovely old (1800s) building in small square facing an historic church, full of charm & character - my rooms had wooden panelling and parquet floors & a Persian rug. I had a suite with a really comfortable bedroom and spacious & clean living room & bathroom. The suite had ALL the facilities you could want, need or expect. Given daytime temperatures during my Xmas stay were -8C, the suite was excellently insulated with great central heating and the bathroom had non stop hot water. Room cleaned daily. Breakfast excellent - a really wide variety of cold and hot foods - cereals, breads, pastries, cookies, cheeses, meats, bacon, sausage, eggs, juices, fresh fruit and vegetables etc etc. I paid approx £60 per night - which included breakfast - & I thought this was great value. Staff friendly and helpful. I recommend this place very, very highly.

The hotel has a perfect location. It's in the heart of the city in old town and you don't have to take transportation for strolling around the city. Reaching to the hotel from the airport is super easy with public transport. There are many different restaurant options around the hotel. Breakfast was good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. It was super quite even though the room was looking to a small square with a restaurant where full of young people.

Nothing.

The hotel feels really authentic, like you are immersed in Czech Republic. Breakfast was hearty self service. English breakfast tea bonus. The quality is reflected in the star rating but mostly by the price.

Not really the properties fault, I got really confused with the roads around the old town, frequently getting lost despite the various tourist maps I had. Don’t attempt the old town without google maps

The hotel was surprisingly good for the price. Its very centrally located. Room was modest but overall comfortable and pretty spacious. Excellent breakfast and overall very pleasant staff.

There was no ac, so it gets stuffy on the last floor. Thinking it’s really hot during summer. Not sure if there’s room with ac there.

Loved the location- very close to everything within small walking distance. Barely had to use public transport. Also loved the medieval theme and the breakfast cellar. The staff was very polite, the room was clean and the bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept on. The breakfast wasn't the richest but it was fine.

The room was small. It was more like an attic but ok for two people. The shower was a little old therefore the water pressure wasn't great and it was kinda hard to move the tap that runs the water.
