When browsing to find a hotel room for my stay in Prague and came across a "Brewery Hotel", I immediately stopped the search for a Plan B, going for the experience. But the experience really exceeded my expectations. Every member of the hotel staff was very kind and helpful, the room had a nice combination of historic and modern elements to offer a traditional, yet comfortable stay. There were power sockets at the bedside, a spacious clean bathroom. The attached restaurant with breakfast room offered a nice and varied choice and having dinner in the restaurant with the nicely themed beer dishes was equally tasty. Of course, the location is absolutely perfect being in the Old Town, with most touristic places within walking distance.

If I actually have to give a downside, it's that I had to leave after 5 wonderful days.

The hotel is very well located, within a 5 min walking distance to the old town centre. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The rooms were very clean, very comfortable and warm. The reception staff were very friendly and worked really well as we had made 3 different reservations for 5 rooms, 8 guests in total, and all was in order. They order a taxi to the airport for the last 2 guests on the last day and that went smooth, 20 min driving to the airport with a very nice driver. Restaurant and breakfast was available. Good breakfast with all the main things for a mediterranean breakfast and a few more things. Overall, I do recommend this hotel for sure! Bonus: 1 beer each at arrival 😁

Everything was really good. Can't complain, price-quality is just on point.

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The reception was 24 hours, and the reception staff were very helpful. The hotel is very close to the Old Town but still quiet at night. The bar and restaurant were comfortable and reasonably priced.

Rude server in the restaurant, when we told him we had been waiting an hour for food he replied 'yeah yeah ' but the food did turn up 5 minutes later.

Great hotel very authentic, something very different to what I usually stay in so I loved it. Reception staff were very friendly the girl on my last day was very helpful she rang me a taxi and kept in communication with the driver because traffic was so bad and she made sure I wasn't running late for my flight l.

The attention to detail in the room design did not go unnoticed, and I appreciated the comfortable bed and plush furnishings. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable, creating a relaxing and enjoyable environment. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional buffet breakfast offered at the on-site restaurant. The spread was diverse, offering a wide array of delicious options to suit every palate. It's reassuring to know that the establishment is making efforts to minimize its environmental impact.

This hotel has a lot of character and doesn't take itself too seriousy--it really leans into its own history and Prague's beer culture, with beer-based toiletries, local drafts in the restaurant, even beer sorbet (surprisingly good!). Apparently it also has a beer spa, which which we didn't try. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable and staff friendly and helpful--as non-Czech speakers we were grateful for their excellent English. The location is great as well.

There didn't seem to be air conditioning, and using open windows and floor fans did not quite handle the unseasonable heat during our stay--the weather wasn't the hotel's fault, but it's good to be prepared if you're an AC lover.

Breakfast was beyond expectations. The quality, quantity, variety, range, setup and duration was exceptional. Thoroughly enjoyed the Breakfast. Location was central within walking distance to needs. Room on the third level had a unique feeling due to original exposed beams. Airconditioning was perfect on the 36`c day. Staff were most helpful and always friendly and even came outside to help give directions, thier English was well understood. Customer service was top grade. As an Australian entering Europe through Prague for one first night I found the staff to be fantastic, empathic, warming and welcoming.

It is impossible to say just how much I really love staying at U Medvidku each time I'm in Prague. But I'll try to sumup all the reasons: Staff - Absolutely amazing staff. Always there 24/7 and always helpful. Low-key and respectful of privacy, even when you've had too much to drink (ha ha). But ready to help with recommendations, taxis, luggage and more. Food - Terrific traditional Czech restaurant. AWESOME beer, fresh every time. GREAT service there. Hours run late too. Breakfast - Spectacular breakfast, maybe the best I've seen in Czech Republic. Huge variety of fruit, veges, eggs, meat/cheese, hot and cold dishes, great drinks, small specialties and everything is FRESH and delicious. You can eat in a large indoor room, cozy hall, or outdoors at picnic tables. Rooms - I always request the cozy attic rooms, which have good temperature control and AC, beautiful wood beams, and are small and cozy with small windows, great for sleeping late. Beds are comfy, bathrooms clean and modern. Location - Literally couldn't be better. Walking distance to the river, Main Theater, Wens. Square, Old Town, etc. 24/7 burritos down the street too! Shopping, tram and metro all within 2 mins' walk, and Bolt/Taxi service always available instantly. Great staff, great food, great location and nice rooms - what more could you need? :)

One of the most memorable hotels I’ve stayed at! Impeccably clean, excellent location near the old town, and shopping area and very special hotel concept. It’s located on top of the brewery, and a lot of things are related to the topic, like interior, vintage pictures in the rooms and beer cosmetics in the bathroom. Very good breakfast in the brewery itself with all the varieties of things one might want to have like from meat platter and sausages to muesli, plus pastries, juices, fresh veggies and fruit. Super friendly staff, especially Pavla and Tatsiana. Thanks for making me feel home

Really comfortable bed and good lighting in the room. Very spacious bathroom. Good location next to enough shops/food/attractions. Staff is very kind and helpful. Free breakfast and meals/beers in the restaurant were good.

Room could have been slightly cleaner. Elevator only goes to the middle floor so rooms on the top floor need to use stairs. Top floor room also had shorter ceilings/wooden beams so taller/bigger people may have difficulty with the room. Only a small window so not much natural light. Walls are very thin so you can hear your neighbors and outside sounds easily.
