Excellent breakfast, with A LOT of options (a wide variety of cooked, sweet and savoury options, for all tastes and needs). Good size room, with a fridge in it and also with coffee and tea making facilities. Nice, clean bathroom. In the hotel lobby, it was nice to see fruit water, candy and lollipops offered for free. Plus they had a vending machine with all sorts of drinks (water, sodas, beer, spirits, etc.). We also had a bottle of complimentary water in the room, Air conditioning in the room, which was adjustable. Enough sockets in the room. Helpful staff. Paid parking in the vicinity.

No ventilation in the bathroom. The hotel had only a few free parking places. They blocked the due amount of money on the card and then we also had to pay the same amount at the reception. The blocked amount has not been unblocked yet (one day after paying/leaving).

Check-in staff were immaculate and friendly, extremely helpful, ready with local information and maps. Breakfasts were wonderful - an amazing variety of hot and cold, sweet and savoury, hot and cold drinks... it was marvellous. The rooms are large and airy, comfortable and spacious, bathroom is excellent. All was very clean and attractive. The location of the hotel is great - easy walking distance, if necessary, from the train station, and also a very comfortable walking distance from the town centre. Tram stops are almost right outside the hotel, so there is every possible opportunity to get there, and to get out to explore. The hotel is set well back from the roads, so there is no traffic noise, and from the upper floors there are stupendous views across the town, to distant horizons.

It would have been very nice if there were more teabags in the room! I had one black tea and one herbal tea, to last for two evenings and two mornings, and no milk except powdered coffee creamer. Sadly this was nowhere near sufficient and I had to collect teabags from reception or from the breakfast restaurant, to keep me satisfied... But that is my ONLY dislike; apart from that I can not find a fault with anything.

We stayed in the Leonardo Karlsruhe on our road trip through the Pfalz area and for this purpose the hotel is perfect as it can be easily reached by car, there is free parking in front of the hotel (if you find space). It is perfect for a stay overnight before you start e.g. a roadtrip into the Pfalz/Weinstrasse area. Downtown Karlsruhe (Marktplatz/Schloss) is in easy walking distance (about 10 mins). Very friendly staff. We even received a nice welcome drink at arrival. Breakfast selection was quite big. Good for us (as we overslept ;-)): breakfast on a weekend and holidays is until 11. Hint: ask for the the city map they hand out in the hotel on request: it contains a good guidance for restaurants (we went to the Vogelbrau, highly recommended) as it is not that easy to find a good local restaurant in Karlsruhe on a public holiday.

Hardly anything negative. Be aware that this hotel is a classical city hotel which is part of a bigger international chain and as such quite standardized interior, so it might not be the hotel to go for if you are looking for some German specific local atmosphere, but for our purpose (reasonable city stay before our roadtrip) it was perfect.

Nice rooms, nice supportive receptionists and food. Location is good as well for connectivity with trams and is near the railway station.

One Water bottle was free but there was no bottle opener in the room. Also the cleaning staff didn't provide a new one the next day. Also a half used body wash tube was kept instead of an unused one.

Room was a decent size, plenty of light, bathroom fine, everything very clean. The location was ideal for us as it is between the main station and the city centre, with a busy tram stop just outside, quiet area with the unusual city centre zoo across the road! Breakfast was excellent with a very wide variety of hot and cold food, breads, eggs, bacon, cereals, nuts, meats and milks. Also the hotel had a manager/barman whose outgoing and humorous personality added to the character of the hotel and meant we spent more time in the bar than expected!

Sadly the restaurant was shut in the evenings owing to staff shortages. the staff gave us directions to a good traditional neighbourhood brauhaus (nice export) and a posh italian restaurant- very special food. (both were very good)

This is a lovely hotel with great views across the city if you are lucky enough to get rooms on the top floors. Parking was easy, we got a spot right outside the front door! The hotel is spotless and the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with air conditioning which was most welcome in the very hot weather. Unfortunately the evening restaurant was closed during our visit but due to the hotels location, great food was only a short walk away and we found a lovely sit out place to eat less than a five minute walk. The breakfast restaurant was available in the morning and the choice of foods on offer was very good.

There was nothing really to dislike about this hotel. The only downside that I can think of is that the lifts only go as far as floor 9 and our rooms were on the top floor 11 and the last two flights had to be taken by stairs which was fine for us, but perhaps not so fine if you have lots of luggage or a health condition etc.

most of the staff was very nice, breakfast was great. due to the hot weather, the hotel offered free ice lolly’s to all the guests. the view was great, the hotel’s lobby was charming. location was okay. bathroom and room were clean, there was a mini bar present, and there was airconditioning.

the only way to park your car for free, was luck/getting there at a time where other guests would be using their car. otherwise you have to pay €15 per 24 hours, which is pretty expensive. we stayed for two nights and had a free parking spot for 1 night, while we had to pay for the other night. there’s a subway station nearby. the hotel is walking distance from the shops/malls (about 20 min), but it’s too far from the castle to easily walk there. we also went to a concert at Tollhaus, which was too far to walk as well, so we had to use our car. some parts of the hotel are a bit dated - a bit too much to be charming. the elevator’s screens didn’t work and I didn’t feel very secure while using it. it’s old and small, but got the job done - just not very comfortably.

I was positively impressed at arrive by the welcome drink and a free upgrade to a suite. Parking was also free because I was allowed to parked in front of the hotel at no costs. Guess it was just my lucky day. Huge thanks to the very kind staff. Suite was spacious, very clean. access to suite however over stairs since the elevator doesn't go all the way to the top floor. but nothing really to brag about. didn't stay for breakfast.

only disappointment was the mattress. I didn't sleep as good as I usually do in hotels since the mattress was of very basic quality and same goes for the pillows. Could definitely be improved. nevertheless I would always come again.

Location: The hotel is easily reachable from Hbf Room: We got a free upgrade to a Suite, and it had all the necessary facilities

Parking: Limited parking spaces (max. 15) in front of the Hotel, which gets full in the evening. So we have to park on the street or find a paid parking space. A dedicated parking space for the Hotel would have been convenient. Lift: On the day we stayed, the lift was not working from 9th to 10th floor

Good location, you can go to the center on foot, although the tram station is nearby. Very friendly staff, they offered us beer and champagne to welcome us. Refreshing water and candies were available at the reception. The rooms are very spacious, well equipped and clean. There is a parking garage nearby, although you can also park on the street, where it is cheaper.
