BOMA easy living hotel

Super central, great beds and pillows, white linen. Took the last room which it’s fine size-wise if you are two. Welcome bottled water in minibar is offered upon arrival. Coffee machine and pods / kettle in room very convenient.

We were 3, the family room it’s pretty tight. We wanted two bedrooms but ended up taking this one as hotel is very central and this was their last room available. No parking on-site, you need to park at La Petite France or any other parking nearby. €18/day for my small dog found it a bit expensive considering that we didn’t even get a bowl.

Arrived by train from Paris and was an easy walk with light luggage to the hotel. Room had a nice view overlooking the street. Wifi was good. TV had a good selection of music. Location was excellent, a few minutes walk away from Petite France area and easy walk to rest of Old Town. Plenty of restaurants around the area.

No wardrobe only a small open rack to hang clothes. Our room was quite noisy both from outside street noise and being next to the housekeeping area. Beds are very small to what we are use too. No public computer available to access some visas we needed but emailed to the hotel and they were able to print out and waived the fees they normally charge per page.

It was very modern, which was a welcome change after staying in hotels that were from the 1500s to 1600s. Both the room & bathroom were unexpectedly spacious for a European hotel. The bathroom had a tub, which was unexpected and very much appreciated after a week & 1/2 of tons of walking. The luggage storage room was great with lockers that you enter your own code to lock instead of just leaving your bags sitting in a lobby like other hotels. I didn't use the onsite restaurant, but it looked very welcoming. I loved that the TV gave you not only info regarding the hotel amenities & menus but also information on tourist sites and activities. The free mini bar was a huge plus for not having to constantly buy bottled water! Very close proximity to walk to/from train station as well as the sites, restaurants, and tram.

It's close to bars & restaurants and you could hear the nightlife outside. Housekeeping started cleaning around 8 am. Very loud and sounded like they were moving all the furniture around in the room right next door.

Clean hotel. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Spacious bathroom. The luggage locker room at floor -1 is great. Before check in and after check out we were able to put our luggage in the locker using customized password and without help from the staff, which means no waiting time.

The room is dark, probably because of the design and theme. It’s stylish, but not as functional as normal lighting. The location of the hotel is great if you don’t have large and heavy luggage suitcases. It’s within walk-in distance from the Strasbourg train station. However the road from train station to the hotel is made from stones and not flat; we had hard time pushing suitcases all the way to the hotel.

Very nice hotel in the center of Strasbourg, we had a great time there. The room was nice with a big and comfortable bed and all the amenities that you need. Great view from the terrasse. The staff was very helpful and always happy to answer any questions we had. The hotel doesn't directly provide parking but you can park in one of the two nearby parkings (5 minutes walk from the hotel) at a reduced rate (18€/day). Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back if we are in Strasbourg again!

Nothing bad to mention

Friendly staff, excellent location, good beds, nice funky design. Airconditioning functioned really well, we like a cool room to sleep in. We did not have breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment. Bakery across the street has excellent croissants, yoghurt with fruit, coffee, eclairs and other goodies.

Rooms were a bit small, no iron board. Coffee machine in the room. Water cooker broke during our stay, causing power to shut down in our room. Nespresso machine would have been nice.

We loved the location, clean rooms and creative decor. Plenty of room for our family of 5 .We felt comfortable and appreciated the ease to get around- welcomed change from Paris. Front desk was especially helpful with directions and possible activities in town.

Everything was wonderful! If I have to put something, - Wasn't sure on what continental breakfast included. Very simplistic, unless you pay the extra $20/ person. But with a cafe and bakery across the street, it leaves room for guest/family choices.

Location, location, location. Just a couple of minutes to main station and Lufthansa bus stop. The Galeries Lafayette are two minutes away. Even more important: you can reach all sights by foot. A small supermarket is across the street, so are a bakery and pubs. But yet - my room was quiet, couldn’t hear any downtown noise. The interior design is really cool and cozy, soap and shower gel smells nice. Good: you’ll get a fridge with a couple of water bottles for free.

Modern hotel at the center of Strasbourg. The lobby bar/restaurant was open and served local wines, appertifs and even mulled wine. Quite pleasant. The rooms were modern and efficiently laid out. Nice bathrooms and very comfortable beds. It was a 5 minute walk to Platz Kleber and Galleries Lafayette. 6 minutes to Petite France. Cathedral perhaps 8 minutes. The location was amazing and overall the staff were very helpful and professional.

Our server in the bar/restaraunt was visible not happy that were just ordered drinks and not food. He served us twice during our stay and both times was "unhappy" to serve us. The other serveres we had were very pleasant so we could have just caught him on a bad day. The hotel has lockers for those ariving before check in time. But it is all self serve on a lower floor. Cramming bags into lockers while other travellers are trying to do the same was stressful and frustrating.

The hotel is a quick walk from the train station (and a straight route - getting lost highly unlikely!) and was spotless. Loved that there were lockers for luggage before check-in and after check-out. Staff was really friendly.

For this level of hotel, it was disappointing to have no coffee maker in the room (just a kettle with some packets of instant coffee). Also, poor quality toilet paper. I fully acknowledge that those are little things...but they impact the experience.
