Awesome Old school YMCA decor . And the staff was the best . Pull up to the front door and the Valet is right there to help with bags and park your car . When we checked out we had our car within 5 minutes. I went downstairs to the lobby early for a cup of coffee ☕, sat in front of the big fireplace and enjoyed the ambiance while my wife slept in. This Hotel may not be as busy or xtravagant as the Hyatt that our Son and friends stayed at but definitely preferred by us . Loved it and the staff .

There was nothing to dislike, it's like stepping out of the rat race into a more calm time .

The exceptional service provided by the hotel staff thoroughly impressed my husband and me. Their warmth, friendliness, and willingness to go above and beyond to accommodate our needs truly exceeded our expectations. The price we paid was undoubtedly worth it, considering the outstanding level of service we received. We were immensely grateful; for the option to store our luggage and belongings safe, and extend our valet parking while we toured Alcatraz Island (for free). This eased our concerns about leaving our vehicle in a public parking with our valuable possessions. Overall, we had an absolutely wonderful experience and wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a truly exceptional stay.

Stunning location - though our view was terrible Lovely decorated room with quality room dressing. Bed super comfy - lovely pillows Toiletries were divine Breakfast stayed as complimentary but expected with price of stay - muffins delicious - limited choice breakfast. Complimentary wine in the evening a nice touch - good quality wine to add. Could have done with drink making facilities in the room or coffee available in foyer. Use of bikes a great touch. Clean hotel and the location of the hotel was great! It's about 20 minutes walk from the Union Square but they also have bikes and one can get a bike and go around the popular attractions.

I was surprised to see that they take a deposit of 150 dollars per night from the credit card. And it's actually taken from the credit card, which is non convenient if someone stays there for a week as I did. Also the breakfast was very simple. I wish they had some more options.

The location was very centric, near the Market place and there were a few restaurants very close by to chose from. Also we were near the piers and it was nice to do my daily walks at the edge of the water. The area felt safe and I did some walking in the evenings without a problem.

Parking was a bit expensive for me. $65.00 a night for valet (only option). I was able to park on the street for less but had to come down to feed the meter each 4 hours.

Car parking very expensive $67 plus tax per night comes with Valet service. No coffee making facilities in room and a very minimal continental breakfast. But apart from that the room is excellent perfect in fact and the shower very good.. location is good.woupd prob stay again if I wasn't driving.

The hotel is fantastic in the perfect location, and the rooms are spotlessly clean, Chris and nearly all of the staff were brilliant, friendly and so helpful and they could not do more for you!

One particular member of staff who worked the night shift was rude, arrogant, and not one bit helpful, but we did let this experience with him take away from what was a wonderful experience in a wonderful hotel.

The staff was phenomenal. I lost a necklace when I changed rooms and the Cleaning Team + Front Desk support made sure to do everything to locate it. They were able to find it in the linen laundry and I could not be more thankful for them.

The first night I stayed in one of the smaller rooms and even for 1 person, it was too small. Thankfully they had an open room that was facing the bay that was perfect.

Great location at the northeastern edge of SF. Wonderful walking path just outside hotel. The fruit flavored water in the lobby is a very nice touch. Morning pastries respectable. Friendly staff. Several great restaurants within comfortable walking distance. I didn’t feel unsafe.

The listing on Booking.com did not match what was initially given to us by the front desk. We booked for 4; initially we were given a room for two. If I did not catch it, it would have been a prolonged mess.

The room was very comfortable with all amenities, very clean and all shampoos very musky. The staff very helpful. The location absolutely nice. The Embarcadero was beautiful and very near of the most attractions and the public transports.

The breakfast had only sweets like croissants and cupcakes, fruits bananas and apples, coffee and juice.
