Perfect location, loved the old building and the interiors. Really helpful staff. There was an option to leave the luggage in the storage what also was helpful. Well enough equipped gym with water available. Loved the bedroom view as well.

No free water in the room - unlike gym, which is uneven and makes no sense. It would be enough to leave a nice glass water bottle to refill from the tap as water in Denmark is great.

Everything was brilliant, from the location to the rooms, great choice for breakfast, extremely friendly, welcoming and unobtrusive staff, ready to help, anticipating your wishes, I can really be only full of praise here. I also love the history of the place, the fittings, the great architecture of the building itself. I was impressed with the fact that you can see attention to detail and attention to good quality - beautiful fabrics used in the bedclothes and curtains, fantastic free hair and body products provided. I felt truly looked after and pampered - thank you very much, Phoenix Copenhagen, you made my stay really enjoyable and I know I will be back for sure!

I have no negative comment to make whatsoever. The only thing that surprised me was the quality of the coffee - quite weak and watery for Denmark, I must say, and possibly the only thing to work on.

Exceptional service at a landmark hotel in an exceptional location to explore the city.

Our air conditioner didn't work properly which led to excessively high temperatures in the room. When reported, service to investigate and diagnose was prompt but the unit couldn't be fixed and apparently no other rooms were available to move into. Upon request the staff provided a fan which made the temperatures in the room bearable though still very hot. Mechanical failures do happen, which we understand. We were comped items in the mini bar, which was water - both still and sparking, and some juice we drank in the heat as compensation for the discomfort. Notably the services the hotel offers is top notch in baggage assistance and concierge services. The bar on site was great as well for evening drinks after dinner and walking in the city.

I was upgraded to a much better room. The reviews of the hotel were very mixed, but the room we got was very nice. It was exactly like on the pictures. This was the only hotel that had a whole collection of pillows, so settling down to sleep was very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable.

It became very, very noisy at 7.00 on holiday morning. Besides the racket outside in the backyard, the workers could not find any other way to communicate but to shout. For some reason there was only one bathrobe and one set of slippers.

Very nice room in a very quiet hotel - even though I was on the first floor looking down on Bredgade. I had thought to take the metro from the airport to Kongens Nytorv and then walk down - which is fine without too much luggage

The hotel is barely accessible for people with mobility issues or heavy suitcases (such as me): the entrance is up a few marble steps. The walk from Kongens Nytorv Metro to the hotel is manageable - but the station exit is in front of Magasin, and can't be further away from the start of Bredgade and the location of the hotel. In foul weather, and/or with heavy luggage: it's a bit of a trek.

Everyone working on the reception desk was amazing, always ready to help u. It was clean and nice, modern. Heating was available and was working great. Coffee machine had exellent nespreso coffee. Nice minibar

When we arrrived in the room, there were not slippers available, but the problem was fixed the next day. The iron for clothes wasnt really working. The standard room had a big beam in front of us and it was not really pleasant to get up from the bed. For expensive hotel like this, the room of the hotel was really hard and not closing really well

The location is great 10-minute walk from the Kongens Nytorv and not far to several famous spots in the city. The staff and the facility are the four-star standard in general.

The twin bed room we were given was rather small and the room could be used as a single occupancy suite rather than a two occupancies to share. The bathtub is a bit higher so I need to pay more attention to the difference when getting out the bathtub. I don't think the quality and facility of the given room was really worth the price.

Great location, beautiful area and could easily walk to shops and main attractions. The metro is round the corner if walking gets too much. The hotel is beautifully decorated and has all you need for a short stay. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The only thing I didn’t like is when I asked for the wall moisturiser in my room to be filled and it was jammed so couldn’t press it out so it needed cleaned. It was cleaned by the time I came back to use it at the end of the day but after a couple of presses it was empty.

Very nice feel with the room, high ceiling and bed was very comfortable. Easy to check in and helpful staff. There was good space to hang clothes and also the bathroom had ok space. Breakfast was all ok, like the choices of bread and the prepacked glass overnight oats and such, very nice with fresh fruit.

The juices at breakfast, orange bit to bitter for my taste and not so natural feel, and also the apple was bit too "fermented" like cloudy but, that is personal taste of course, and the coffee, could maybe think about having one of those bean machines with fresh coffee, this type of heated, coffee feels a bit outdated. The hand shower, probably water saving but I am a big guy and that felt like a sprinkle of water, the top one was really good though so got a good shower anyway.

The location of the hotel is excellent - near Kongens Nytorv square and metro station, very easy to reach from the airport and in walking range of all main attractions. Our room was a twin bed (as requested), maybe a little small, but we didn't spend much time in the room so this was not a problem. The room was quiet and the heating worked properly. The breakfast was very good. I would definitely stay here again. Overall, an excellent choice for visiting Copenhagen.

Minor details - for example, the door of the bathroom was partially blocked by an armchair. However, nothing important and I would definitely stay here again and recommend the hotel.
