The location is just perfect. The hotel is cozy in a colonial style and the beautiful beach is 30 seconds away from the rooms. All is very well maintained. The food menu at the restaurant is really good too and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

On the weekends the music is very loud, to the point that you can feel the customers are uncomfortable and not able to hold a conversation. In our case was tecno music witch didn't feel like matching the environment. Regarding the rooms, a hotel called el Mosquito, should consider put the Mosquito nets back in the rooms. You can see they were once there but for some reason the management decided is not needed but it is something I would strongly suggest to put back. The shower floor was very dirty and needs more attention.

Superb location on playa Bonita, what a pleasure to wake up with the view of the ocean! Surf school directly on the hotel site, very convient and very friendly staff from the school surf. Very good atmosphere, a bit like an hostel! Recommended for solo traveler or group of friends.

It was sometime difficult to get a table at the (only) restaurant of the hotel, because it was “fully booked”, even if we were guests of the hotel (the restaurant and outdoor area are open to the public). Very busy on the weekend, atmosphere of a beach club with loud music all day (it could not be for everyone), but more quiet during the weekdays. The outdoor area could be a bit more clean/looked after more properly.

The resort was adorable and perfect for our family! charming and clean!! What MADE the property was the staff. Yoesel, Edison, Pepe, Carlos, Kenluis made sure we were completely taken care of. They became part of our family and we treasure the time we had and memories we made. They gave us suggestions of places to visit and called a taxi for us when we needed one! We couldn’t ask for better drinks, more laughs and better service! Christian, at the front desk, arranged a snorkeling trip at the last minute for us. All with a smile! We can not wait to visit again! A mojito here will never taste as good as there!

Please make more than one beach playlist! We LOVED having music on but by the third day we were listening to the same playlists over and over. I know that’s a small thing- but it would make an amazing place even better!

Nice beachfront property that seems to be the fun “hot spot” in the immediate area. Lively bar & restaurant serving tasty drinks & food. All staff (receptionists, bartenders, waiters, kitchen staff) super friendly & very accommodating to ensure one’s stay is enjoyable. If you don’t have a good time here then it’s your own fault!

The palm trees offer some shade in the open areas but it would be nice if there were a few more shaded spots or at least some umbrellas to get some relief from the sun.

Everything was just great, the service and stuff (Jennifer was just amazing and super responsive to my needs). The place is super clean and they are making sure to keep it that way, the rooms and all the area around. The hotel is just by the beautiful Playa bonita beach so the location is amazing if you are looking for a nice and peaceful vacation The restaurant is nice with very good food and drinks and the service there is just exceptional I've been that for 4 nights and if I had the option I would stay even more!

Nothing I could think of

- Amazing location, with the sea in front of your rooms. - Perfect staff, especially Mrs. Jennifer who helps us really a lot in our daily issues and made our accommodation even much better. - Very nice restaurant with not so expensive prices. - Very good breakfast, which it was included at the price. - A lot of people from other hotels were daily coming to Mosquito in order to have lunch and to relax there. - It is in the middle of the Bonita beach, so you have the option either to swim just in the front of the hotel and to play with the waves, or to go either at the right or at the left side in order to enjoy the calm waters.

- Absolutely nothing...! I wish I could stay even much longer at this place.

The best part of the hotel is definitely the staff. They were exceptionally kind and helpful. The location would be my second favorite part. You really could have top that Beach if you love swimming, surfing or snorkeling.

Well the downside would be I guess the cost. It cost just about the same to eat or stay there as it does in my home of san Francisco, California. The second thing that I thought was awkward was the water in the morning would sometimes stop but it would come back on a few minutes later but that would make for a very awkward shower on occasions. They blamed it on the work going on nearby so hopefully it will stop eventually

Second time staying here, this time we were lucky enough to get an upgrade so we had an amazing ocean view. Breakfast is SO good, and the bar is a great hangout.

Wifi is pretty bad in the rooms. It’s better by the restaurant, but I was working and in meetings so needed the quiet of my room. I ended up having to call in for most meetings because it couldn’t connect.

This is just marvelous place. The atmosphere, the vibe, sea, beach, excellent food, room cleaned every day. It really worth the long trip from the airport. I would definitely come back. It is even better in reality than in the pictures.

Prepare you patience in the restaurant and bar. The staff is super nice, but they take their time to serve you. Especially during the weekend we had a feeling they put the locals first than us, tourists. They do not seem super busy, just let you wait for some reason only they know. It does not help to come yourself to the bar, they tell you they will be with you in five minutes, and then come in twenty … Our record during 4 day stay was 1 hour waiting just to get the first order 😅

It was amazing to go back after 18 months. It is still the most beautiful Hotel in the area. The food at the restaurant is very delicious and well presented. Friday and Saturday nights are a big hit for all tourist to hang out at the bar and everyone is enjoying it.

We stayed in the Family unit and this was on top of the restaurant and bar - O BOY THIS IS NOT RECOMMENDED IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SLEEP. Big mistake to book this unit. The unit is big and beautiful but don't waste your money on it because the entrance is next to the kitchen and very sad!!!!!!!!!!!
