My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Sheraton Hotel in Santo Domingo in December 2022 and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. One person who made our stay even more memorable was Lizandro Vargas, a porter at the hotel. Lizandro went above and beyond to ensure that we had a fantastic time during our stay. He provided us with detailed information about the city, including tips on the best places to eat, shop, and explore. His recommendations were spot on, and we really appreciated his expertise and local knowledge. In addition to his helpfulness, Lizandro was incredibly friendly and personable. He greeted us with a smile every time we saw him, and he always took the time to ask how our day was going and if we needed anything. He made us feel like valued guests at the hotel, and we really appreciated his hospitality. Finally, the breakfast at the hotel was fantastic! There was a great selection of food, and everything was fresh and delicious. We looked forward to starting our day with a hearty breakfast, and it always exceeded our expectations. Overall, our stay at the Sheraton Hotel in Santo Domingo was fantastic, and Lizandro Vargas made it even more special. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Santo Domingo, and we are already looking forward to our next stay!

The hotel is very nice, room was spacious and clean. Housekeeping excellent. Enjoyed the bar in the evening.

Check-in was not so great, the staff seemed annoyed and not so accommodating. Also the buffet breakfast was not as good as last year. The assortment of items was just ok. Not worth the money to me.

Very happy with everything l will recommend to all my friends, clean, super friendly and the food super good, very good on health issues always supply with protections everywhere.

I booked for my family my wife two of my children and myself when I checked in only 3 guests were booking for ending l have to pay 1 extra guest. My bill was $440.88 for 4 guests was the same price for 3 guests

I didn’t expect to get charged for the minibar (I guess this won’t happen to me again). also everybody keeps telling us to be aware of thieves whenever we go outside in public. after this everything was perfect. Great trip

Loved the breakfast. I was staying for a wedding that connected to the Renaissance Hotel, and the security team was super helpful in opening the connecting door for us, so that we would not have to be on the street and safety after the party the wedding night. Thank you!

The store next of the bar did not have any staff.

I love the location best. Also, the staff was very friendly. I also love the small area and the swimming pool with the food bar.

I thought that the prices were excessive for this time of the year. I have been there two times before and the cost for the rooms were much less.

Location pool, free parking, pool area (private and you don’t have to walk all through the hotel) and Sunny!

Rooms are good but getting a bit outdated. Lounge has good food but maybe some variety?

The sheraton is a very nice hotel in a great area of SD. The room was good , however not very new. The staff is very kind. Breakfast is fantastic. Great pool area , fitness area and outdoor bar.

Excellent location, nice pool, great breakast and wifi.

Hotel is little bit dated, specially bathrooms. No bathrobe, no fridge or minibar in room. Cleaning of the rooms is very late, in the afternoon. One day they forgot to put new towels, another day they didnt take the garbage out.
