The hotel is situated in a nice part of the town (colonial district) and is very well accessible. The staff is superb, very friendly and helpful. The hotel is excellent if you want to enjoy the vicinity and if you want to have a nice safe place to stay. Very good internet connection. Saved my end of year work.

Direct neighbourhood can be a bit noisy at night, the toilet & water taps are due for a renewal but it was doable. It is a point of attention for the hotel to make some steps to the next level. I did not have the luck of having breakfast on the patio, because on the day I wanted to have breakfast there, nothing was available. Again, not a big issue, but I was curious for the breakfast.

This Inn is amazing! Very clean and comfortable. The staff is extremely friendly. We loved having breakfast served by Tanya in the patio. The location is super convenient to all the shops and restaurants (so no need for a car!). The owner (Manuel) was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and had great recommendations, like Pate Palo restaurant (delicious!) and the Rum Museum (so cool!). Unfortunately, it poured on the second day we arrived so we couldn’t explore as much of the zona colonial as we would have liked. But it was nice to have a great place to wait out the rain. I will definitely return here and stay for longer.

The location is great to walk around the zona colonial. The breakfast is good and prepared with love. The coffee smell in the morning is just the perfect way to wake up. The room stay cool even without A\C (but the A\C was there and functioning, I just prefer not to use it). The jacuzzi on the rooftop made my saturday night!

There are rooms with no window so make sure to ask for a room with a window, if that is an issue for you.

We had an amazing time here. It was the perfect location to venture out and explore the city. We stayed in the suite for two days and I felt like I was right at home. Amazing breakfast and great hospitality. The best part of it is the Jacuzzi they have in the roof top. :-).

The staff were amazingly friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Breakfast was a good mix of fruit and eggs. Cool rooftop and great location.

Rooms were a bit small and tired looking. No windows in the room. Noisy AC. Thin doors so you can hear other guests if they're noisy. Shower designed for people under 5ft.

A wonderful place to stay. Due to the historical aspects of Santo Domingo, it was very interesting to be in the Colonial Zone and especially in the Colonial Suite by Cristi. The hotel is housed in a beautiful historic building and is very well decorated with paintings and objects that represent the local culture. The hotel staff is attentive and very polite. The room had adequate space, with a very comfortable bed and wardrobe, safe and air conditioning. Everything is very clean and organized. In the vicinity of the hotel, there are several historical and tourist sites that are worth visiting and are easily accessible on foot. The hotel staff also recommended good places to eat near the hotel. I definitely recommend the hotel for its excellent cost versus benefits. Enjoy Santo Domingo!!!

Very good location in the colonial area of Santo Domingo, nice room with all facilities needed. In general, rooms would benefit if having a water cooker.

The relaxed and safe atmosphere in the hotel, the staff, the cleanliness, good bed and linens, internet, tv and a nice hot water pressure and a cold a/c.

Every time I stay here, at the Suite Colonial, I wonder why did I ever stayed anywhere else? It is awesome to be in the Zona and feel safe and like with family! Manuel and his crew are profesional, friendly, respectful and so helpful. The helped plan and make a walking tour of the Colonial Zona. So much history, good food, and warm people.
