I've stayed here before and will stay again. Stubel is clean, comfortable, and has exceptionally friendly and personal staff. As a solo woman, this was an excellent place to arrive at 4am after a delayed flight. There is a guard always outside, and an attentive 24 hour front desk. I had messaged about my arrival time and they immediately noticed the taxi outside and like were ready for me. This felt both safe and welcoming. This is also a safe area of town in general. Good breakfast with a spectacular view. Highly recommended!

Everything was great. I'd like a coffee maker or kettle in the room, but it's not a big deal.

We were told a continental breakfast was available, we were expecting self-service with limited choices but were pleasantly surprised with a full service breakfast of coffee, juice, fruits, eggs and biscuits.

The hotel team is very helpful. They checked us in much earlier as we arrived after a night flight to Quito. The driver they sent to pick us from airport, Pedro, was of great solution for the next days trips. The breakfast is very good consisted of various dishes. Not unlimited but decent and sufficient. The view from hotel is amazing as they are located on top of a green valley. A few min walk we found Lucia restaurant which became our dinner daily place and nearby the french patisserie..wow...also a small minimarket for buying their great local fruits. Beds were very good. Spacious room.

Taking a shower was a challenge as the hot water stability was bad. This is probably water pressure problem which we faced also in other hotels in some of our trips. The only reason I did not give them the maximum 10 score.

I arrived much earlier than the check in time, and was offered a room that was available but that if I waited, I could have a room with the view. I choose to wait, and it was worth it - the view is spectacular! The room was excellent, had everything you could want, especially for the price. Personally, the location was good for me, because it was in the area I wanted to be in, but it is quite far from some of the main tourist sites if that is what you are interested in.

The breakfast tasted good, but there was no choice - only how you wanted your eggs cooked.

Nice location, a very nice view from the restaurant, and the rooms that have a view on the valley. Very friendly personnel and very good service. Restaurant is very pleasant, and food is good.

Rooms are large and very comfortable. They could benefit from a small refurbishment (for example, curtains), and a few additional electricity sockets.

Excellent view from the room - this was a real treat. The staff was always nice and helpful, they even helped out with a Type-C adaptor which we forgot. Bed is very comfortable. Room is spacious and spotless.

Internet connection was not very good (compared to European standard). Took several attempts to login sometimes, and to synchronize messages.

This is my favorite place to stay in Quito. I have stayed at Stubel with my family many times over the years, and the service is always impeccable. They have a great restaurant with a beautiful view of the valley, a complete breakfast is included in the price, and the location is right off of Gonzalez Suarez which is a safe area. Thank you for always taking great care of us!

Hotel is well maintained, the staff is VERY helpful, and 24/7 security. Rooms were spacious including the bathrooms, and consistent hot showers. The area is generally quiet so there was no outside noise. The views are phenomenal if you get a room with a view. We had the included breakfast here every morning and it was a feast (eggs, rotating selection of breads, fruits, fresh juice). We don’t typically dine at hotel restaurants but we even had dinner here a couple of nights because it was raining SO hard and the meals were very good! Located in the upscale neighborhood of Gonzalez Suarez (a very different vibe compared to Old Town) and walking distance to some hip restaurants and bars.

The location, views of the Valley. Good Breakfast, comfortable bed. Gym area. Freiendly, helpful, welcoming staff.

Rooms got cold at night now during the winter season, one of the rooms didnt have a working drain in order to put water in it and have a tube. The sauna in the gym area has a terrible smell from not being in use frequently.

A very comfortable hotel, with an amazing view from the restaurant, and if you're lucky, from your room. For me, an excellent location - in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. Not in the tourist centre but very easy to get there in a taxi. Rooms were very comfortable, with all the amenities you could need. Very good value for money.

The gym is small, and the breakfast could be improved for a 4* hotel.
