It is a great place to stay before/ after arrival at the airport. Obviously if you are keen to explore the city you better stay in the city but if closeness to the airport is critical then pick Avalon- the free shuttle will get you to the hotel 10 minutes after you exit the terminal, the staff was friendly, breakfast was great, and of course- the POOL! I definitely took advantage of it after 5 days hiking in Tzoumerka, so this pool is definitely a huge plus. Everything there matched my expectations.

Nothing that I can point out.

There was a possibility for a free shuttle to the airport which is great, but you need to book it in time otherwise you will miss it as we did on the night that we arrived. The next morning we were able to take an advantage of it and it was good. The bartender guy was very nice and gave us a bottle opener, two glasses and also some ice for our wine (that we brought from home) to drink in the room.

There was no shower, only a bath tub that was quite old.

Staff was veryo responsive and kind. We got a shuttle from the airport in a very short notice and to the airport in a very early hour (04:30). The breakfast (included) was very good and the dinner (reserved and payed) was very tasty and very inexpensive.

The air condition was a bit noisy and the pillows were too big and too stiff. On the second night we discovered a second set of pillows in the closet which were better ... :-)

Hotel is well designed hotel close to the Airport. Rooms are very nice and comfortable and hotel has very new and nice swimming pool. This is a great additional value. Breakfast has a large variety of food and therefore I highly recommended this hotel.

I was a bit surprised that they could not provide a transfer from the Airport to hotel at the day of arrival but provided transfer at the day of departure, which is fine.

Great outdoor swimming pool, which comes with a food and beverage service to your chairs. The hotel provides transport to and from the airport which is great. Good selection at breakfast and at the restaurant for dinner.

The pool gets a little bit full with outside guests, so u need to get there soon after opening time to gain a sunbed. However, there was plenty of tables you could sit at under the awning.

The hotel is just a few minutes drive from the airport and offers a free shuttle from/to the airport. We stayed there only for one night and had to leave early, but the staff managed to schedule a shuttle for us. We also ate at the hotel's restaurant and it offered a nice variety of food. The staff was nice and we felt welcomed.

The hotel is not modern, but it is maintained. There's echo in the hallway and it makes other guest's noise a bit disturbing.

I don’t think it deserves 4 stars. for a 3 star hotel, it’s very good but I would expect from 4 star hotel that the facilities will better. the bath had black spots & the heating in the bathroom was rusted. the restaurant is closed in the evening so late arrivals will need to eat sandwiches or drive 5 minutes to next village as there is nothing around the hotel.

Good location right by the airport. Whenever we have a flight arriving at night, we stay at this hotel. Third time at the hotel in fact. It has a free airport shuttle, and a nice swimming pool. Breakfasts are really good. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the bathrooms have baths. I think it's good value for money.

We arrived last at night and the staff could not have been nicer! Quickly to our room, then off to the bar where friendly staff made us delicious club sandwiches. Bar area is a sea of comfortable leather armchairs with easy-to reach tables. Also, they easily arranged a complimentary ride to the nearby airport.

Overall, great experience. The location of the hotel is not far from the shopping mall, airport, church.

Breakfast was a bit repetitive. It would have been nice if dinner was included in the price and there was more variety of meals to choose from. No kettle was provided in the hotel, with cups, tea bags. Also, I had to keep booking 2 taxis, as we were unable to find one that could accommodate a family greater than 4. We spent a lot on taxis during our stay which wasn't very nice, despite booking through the hotel. Also, the twin beds were quite hard in contrast to the double beds, so a little discomfort there.
