Location gets five stars! It's so close to the castle, shopping, restaurants and mostly Hop-on Hop-off tourist bus stop which is hardly few meters from the hotel! Views from hotel rooms were wonderful. The room we had had a wonderful view of the castle and sunrise. We really enjoyed our morning and evening coffee out there. I have added a picture of the sunrise view from our room balcony.

The info-desk or the reception. The people who were sitting there were really not forthcoming or very friendly. They didn't really have answers to even simplest questions and asked us to check on Trivago for tourist info! Felt they didn't want to be bothered by people. Only plus point was we got something printed.

We’ve booked property and did't really remember about included breakfast, when I was calling to reception in the evening and asked about breakfast, receptionist told me that I don’t need to pay extra for breakfast. In the morning we went for the breakfast before 10 minutes to the end and after 4 days Amberton Cathedral Square Hotel Vilnius has charged me 30 euro for Extra breakfast for two persons, but we just got some orange juice, because we've got only 10 minutes for breakfast. So please check your included stuff by yourself, receptionist sometimes is wrong.

The hotel is actually opposite Vilnius Cathedral and the rebuilt Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania. Also it faces a vast Cathedral Square and the tall Bell Tower in front of the Cathedral. Moreover it is next door to the bus stop for buses, and hop in and out touring buses.

There are no taxis near the hotel so I had to ask the receptionist to order one taxi on my behalf. I was not used to cold soups as one starter in fact was a cold soup!

I have stayed in Amberton Vilnius Hotel several times. But now, for the first time, there was no reception in the hotel. To be honest, I was skeptical about this innovation, but everything worked like clockwork. A day before our arrival I've received a message with the room number and the code for the front door and the room door. During the first night, there was a noisy company behind in the neighbor room and I could not sleep because the noise. I wrote whatsapp (which works 24/7) and to my great surprise the problem was solved within 1 minute. We also had an early flight and we asked for breakfast takeaway by whatsapp. After 5 minutes, we received a response with instructions where and when to get a packed breakfast for us. Therefore, we didn't feel any disadvantage in the fact that there was no physical reception, and the virtual one works very efficiently. I will definitely continue to recommend Amberton to my friends.

Amazing location, literally across from the cathedral where they had a huge beautiful Christmas tree up that you can look at while you eat from the amazing breakfast buffet. The room was perfectly fine, good size and has all you need + A/C. The hotel itself has such a nice smell which made it pleasant to come back after a long day of sightseeing. The breakfast is served at the restaurant on the ground floor. Beautifully decorated space with a great and delicious variety, there was even an orange juice machine to drink freshly squeezed juice! There is no reception so you have to self check in, which was super quick, but if you need assistance they have a very efficient 24/7 phone assistance which is great too. Overall amazing value for your money. Would most definitely come back and recommend to anyone.

This is something that happens in almost every hotel but the pillows were old and flat so they could be replaced.

The room was very clean and comfortable. It was a central location.

We had booked a twin deluxe room and got a double. When I rang the support, I felt I was being a nuisance for requesting something I had booked and prepaid for. We were moved to a twin room which obviously wasn't a deluxe, so we agreed to stay in original double deluxe. Again, the phone conversation was borderline rude. After that conversation I decided to only communicate with email. We came back to the hotel in the evening with plans to have a drink at the bar. We were told we could not have a drink there as we had not made a reservation. Room was lovely it just wasn't what we had booked.

Location First of all the location of the hotel is just perfect, in the very center of the city close to everything. Breakfast The breakfast was very good. Service Although there is no regular receptionist , there’s a chat in wats up where you can send any question or request. We always got very quick responses. All the hotel’s staff are very kind, helpful , providing a good service.

The location can't be more perfect, you're right in the city centre with The Cathedral right at your doorsteps. The room was clean and spacious enough for 2x people and our room had a balcony, which was amazing! Breakfast had a decent selection as well. It wasn't the first time we stayed at Amberton and we would stay there again as the price matches the quality and location is everything.

Shampoo bottles were tiny and yes we could have asked for extra, but even to start with it was just about for one person. Unfortunately, there were music rehearsals at The Cathedral square and even though our windows were not facing The Cathedral you could still hear it. I understand it's outside the hotel's control, but light sleepers would have been troubled.

Location excellent for the old town and shopping plus the market day stalls in the Main Street a mile long. Good breakfast and self check in easy after a late night 1am arrival. Also very convenient for those wishing to do the hop on hop off buses and just yards away from the hotel.

I can’t think of anything I did not like about the property.

Location.. Location.. Location Right across Cathedral Square. On your right is Old town area On your left is modern shopping street, Gediminas Avenue. Thanks for the bonus view of Cathedral from my window. Also it was also nice Breakfast with Cathedral view.

A bit dirty and dark light in the room. Some dirty things in the towel, not spot but such dry soil, I don't know to be exact what it was.
