Clean, modern, quiet, friendly staff, secure parking, near concert hall 622 (3 bus stops) and Hallstatt stadium, full bar in lobby, near airport, small but adequate room for two.

No coffee maker or tea kettle in room with some free coffee/tea and mugs - it’s a small thing but I depend on it first thing in the morning at the price point for room. Garage had no elevator access to hotel lobby, only the outdoor parking lot. Not many options for dinner within short walking distance. An area that had many business office buildings, dead at night

I was attending an event close by so it fitted my needs. I had no breakfast as I felt it was too expensive. the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Shuttle from hotel to airport was very convenient.

Like all ibis hotels, they always present a breakfast option which is too expensive especially for someone like myself who would only want a coffee and a pastry first thing in the morning. And in this hotel, since it is not surrounded by many options to get an early coffee and pastry this would have made a difference. I also was startled a couple of times during the night by a banging noise. Probably it was someone letting the door slam shut, and maybe not really the hotel's fault, but in my one night I had a few startling wake me ups! And I found it difficult to find where the hotel is as I was not using shuttle to check in.

Location great. 10 min safe walk to Hallenstadion and easy commute into Zurich by bus, train or tram. Restaurants and shops nearby. Nice buffet breakfast. Comfy bed. Some of the staff were very helpful with transport guides into Zurich and map available from reception. Only 10 min or less drive to airport. Airport bus transfer worked really well.

Large coach loads staying for one night packed out restaurant between 0700 and 0830 so no available tables for breakfast and tables not being cleared. Very noisy with room doors that slam shut and major office block type building work surrounding hotel which started at 0500. Bathroom had marks on wall tiles so could have done with a deep clean - rest ok. Carpet could have done with a better vacuum.

The hotel was very nice and cosy, the staff extremely friendly and helpful, atmosphere nice. On Thursdays they have live music events, but unfortunately we missed it as we came on Friday. The room was cosy, I liked USB rechargers. There is opportunity to order shuttle to airport for 5 CHF per person, which is convenient. Location is not in the very center, but this hotel was the cheapest. And it's only 20 minutes to the center by public transport, the stop is 5 minutes from hotel as well as a few restaurants. I recommend Ibis as good value for money in Zurich.

I would say the room was not crystal clean, but in general the quality of cleaning is good. The breakfast was quite small - you could have fruit salad, yogurt, apples, cornflakes, cheese/ham, eggs and toasts. It was tasty, but I wish there were more warm meals like porridge, omelette or something like this.

Room was very clean and quiet. Comfortable bed with nice linens. Room felt spacious with big windows. For an overnight stay near the airport for our flight the next morning, it was very good (except the shuttle service from and to the airport)

The shuttle from airport to hotel was free. However, once we arrived at the hotel, we learned that there is a charge for the shuttle to return to the airport for our flight the next day. Since it is an airport hotel that advertised a shuttle, we were upset that there was a charge for the shuttle to return to the airport. Also, at the airport, we learned that the hotel shuttle only comes once each hour. It felt like a very long wait for the shuttle to the hotel, when we were tired from our flight and just wanted to get to the hotel. The hotel is a considerable distance from the airport (10 - 15 minutes driving.)

There was a shuttle service available from the airport to the hotel, which ran regularly. The transit was quick and easy. Check is went smoothly with very polite staff. The room was well appointed, the view wasn't great but that didn't bother us. We had drinks in the bar, which stayed open late and offered a wide range of drinks. Breakfast was a typical continental offering, fruit, cereals, bread, cheese, eggs and salami. Plenty to set you up for the day. Check out was easy and quick.

The view from the room wasn't great, but there's not much you can do about it. It was a stop over hotel, so it served its purpose well.

The breakfast buffet (self-made pancakes and boiled eggs, various bread and great coffee...), air condition, flat TV with various tv and radio programms, and wifi in rooms, sound-proof rooms, nice staff, modern young design of the rooms and the hotel, clean bathroom, excellent bathroom accessories (Grohe)

Plastic cover of the matresses (can be removed), the hotel is located next to a huge construction area at the moment (maybe for the next 6 months) - the problem with getting there from the northern side, not for the noise (sound-proof rooms!).

Check in was smooth, room felt comfortable. The wifi worked fine and breakfast was alright. The location was great for me and advisable for those who have a flight to catch as its proximity to the airport is perfect 👍 The tram is just a few mins from the hotel as well as restaurants to eat and chill. I highly recommend!!

At booking, it was stated that parking was for free. This also influenced my booking since I was driving from Germany. However on getting to the hotel , I was told it wasn’t and this caused some confusion. Thanks to the understanding staff. It was sorted nicely!

Very friendly staff, super clean hotel and room. Comfortable beds, breakfast buffet was above average for what you would expect, the staff was accommodating our special situation (very early flight to catch).

The location inside of what looked like an industrial area wasn’t great, but since we just had a few hours of sleep to catch during a layover, it didn’t matter. If you plan on staying longer in Zurich, I would recommend choosing a more centrally located space. The price was on the high side, but I guess that’s Zurich.

Ease of access to airport and to city via the tramway, with very easy clear instructions from staff member. It was just what I needed for a rest between two ten. hour flights!

Dinner... the so called eggplant parmigianno was just small slices of overcooked eggplant in a plain tomato sauce, and it all tested as if it could have come out of a tin. The beer was good.
