Excellent location by Töölö lake, easy walk through the park into the city centre (15-20 mins) and the train station (direct link to the airport 20 mins). Spotlessly clean hotel with great pool, sauna and well equipped gym. Staff were super friendly and efficient. Breakfast high quality. Highly recommend this hotel.

Only improvement - better selection of TV channels.

Really liked this hotel and would definitely stay there again. Close to trams and walkable distance from a variety of amenities. We did club level as a birthday treat and enjoyed the wine, beer and nibbles each night. The bed was really comfy and there is a big fitness centre. Breakfast was delicious and has something for everyone including a super foods bar!

The bath was quite small and I couldn't fully stretch my legs out. (Although I liked having a bath. That was a request so it was good of the hotel to honour that.)

We (family with 2 small kids) stayed in a junior suite. Room was spacious, all amenities, nice beds, quiet, clean. Breakfast was great - there's everything for everyone and then some more. Downstairs there's a fairly big pool with a deep end, noodle floats available, kids L-O-V-E-D it. Sauna, gym, aquarium, playground. At the top, we enjoyed the club lounge - coffee, candies, chips, soft drinks, juice, yogurt. Location is great - trams 2, 4, 10 will take you downtown in a couple of minutes. Supermarket and restaurants nearby. Park with playground right across the street. On top of it all - everyone was extremely nice, helped us with early checkin and late checkout.

An outstanding hotel that really delivered on all fronts. Just a short distance from the main railway station in Helsinki and located close to a large lake it must have one of the nicest central Helsinki locations. Excellent large room with very comfy bed, good sized work desk, chairs, TV and a fridge. Openable window for some outside air was nice. Decent sized bathroom with a bath. Health centre accessible to guests in the basement, used the decent sized pool and the sauna (decent but segregated). Probably one of the best breakfast buffets I have experienced as a vegan. Not only was a good selection of the standard buffet vegan friendly but also a special section with vegan cheese, cold cuts and yogurts etc. A lot of locally sourced products. Breakfast here was a trip highlight. And at the rate we paid it was excellent value.

It would be hard to improve on this excellent establishment, others should look and learn. Nothing not to like.

I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and it was super comfortable. The location is near public transport and around 30 minutes from the central station on foot. The room was located on level 8 and the view of the city was superb. The staff is very friendly and helpful, I would say this is the best part of the hotel. Breakfast is buffet type, but there were always 2 persons happy to give you coffee (if you did not use the machines from the buffet area), to assist you, or to help you in any way.

Employees are friendly, kind and always ready to help you. Hotel also allows you to keep your luggages even after you leave hotel.

- If I have to be picky, the breakfast buffet in the hotel restaurant maybe should have more options in the later hours

My stay was great. I came for a conference and was positively surprised by the quality of the hotel. The rooms was big and the decor very tasteful. The bed was comfy and the relaxing bed linen spray was just a perfect detail. The breakfast was excellent and as a coeliac I appreciated huge selection of gluten-free options. Big and well equipped gym.

The gym and sauna might be open until later hours. As the hotel is evidently a congress venue, I think people would appreciate to be able to actively relax after a long working day. The staff in the restaurant was friendly but not really fast and efficient. I appreciate that the hotel encourages their guests not to throw towels on the floor to save the environment but there's no point when even the hanging towels are changed everyday. But these are minor details to be improved. Overall, thumbs up! :)

Our junior suite was stylish and spacious, as the whole hotel is. The lobby is just amazing! We loved the lounge for suite clients and swimming pool was nicely warm. Breakfast was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. This was our first visit to Crown Plaza Hesperia, we had a family staycation and both adults and children were relaxed and amused in a luxurious atmosphere of the hotel. Definitely worth of visiting and value for money!

There is nothing that the hotel could improve, in my opinion. The only disturbing thing during our stay was a dog-owning couple who tried first to bring their dog to lounge and then they left it barking alone to their room, next to ours, during their long breakfast. This is not the fault of the hotel, otherwise there was quiet during our stay. I was just wondering, not for the first time, why dog owners can't go eating in turns and why a barking dog suffering from separation anxiety has to be brought to hotel.

The reception services were exceptional, working well despite the hour of the day or night. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was well-sized. The breakfast restaurant had a social atmosphere and was of very good size (=big).

Vegan selection at breakfast could use improvement (more varied choice and no need to use so much disposable plastic waste). The receptionist at breakfast kept on speaking English despite us speaking Finnish to her (she knew/was Finnish, as she served some other customers in Finnish). Minibar prices were ridiculously high.

Lovely pool. Helpful staff on the sports reception desk - both times. Lovely view. Nice toiletries. I really needed the body lotion - thanks. I used the pillow spray and had a great night's sleep - thanks.

I didn't like the dark decor very much - seemed manly! Dark cups make me wonder if they are clean! You arranged a taxi for the airport but he drove far too fast and had his music up loud! He charged 53 euros, we were expecting 35 euros. Are you able to select more reputable taxi companies, please?
