It was more basic than other Scandic hotels I’ve stayed in, but it still had a good sized sauna, a basic gym and a good selection at breakfast. The location was also very handy for public transport, right beside a metro station, tram stop and bus stop - so it was very easy to get to the airport and into the city centre. I also got a couple of great tips from the guy on reception when I asked for some nice local shops & cafes to visit, so that was very much appreciated - the staff on reception and in the breakfast room were all very friendly and helpful in fact.

Breakfast selection was much better than we expected. The only downside, as usually, is that breakfast is always the same, but it was not a problem here. Sauna every evening free of charge - great! Entrance to hotel - straight from airport bus. Other transport options - within few steps. Staff was very responsive - at first, we arrived much earlier amd we got to enter the room, but at the end they helped to hold our luggage at other hotel, closer to our next transport.

Interior of shared spaces is a bit oldschool, but that doesn't matter too much. Sauna hours could be longer :)

Perfect location, short walk or tram ride from most City Centre sights. Breakfast was amazing, a wide selection available! Room was simple but neat and slightly quirky! Staff very friendly at reception and at breakfast.

The room itself was not as clean and tidy as I would have expected. There were stains on chair and bed, marks on floor. The room lacked a fridge. Sometimes there seemed to be difficulty maintaining hot water in the shower. There was no toilet brush. Housekeeping was variable, sometimes would replace towels, sometimes not, regardless as to whether you hung them up as instructed! Towels were thin and sometimes appeared stained.

It is not cheap but definitely a good deal for expensive Helsinki! The hotel is not so close to the main usual attractions (Senate square, pier,...) but everything remains in a walking distance AND there is an awesome market hall right accross the street (Hakaniemi market)

Great value for Helsinki, comfortable and quintessentially Nordic with its simple, practical yet comfortable design. Rooms have AC, which was very desirable in July. Large windows with good views. Excellent location right above Hakaniemi metro station with bus and tram connections just outside. Easy walk to the city centre as well as to Kallio/Harju for great restaurants.

Nothing really

The breakfast and the atmosphere during it were the greatest we have ever experienced. Thank you for that (special thanks to Kride from the kitchen staff!) The location of the hotel is perfect because of the public transport (buses & trams + metro station and airport bur stop located less than 20m away!)

The room could have a been slightly warmer (we Central Europeans are not used to Scandinavian cold) – we tried to use the air conditioner panel on the wall, but it did not want to go upper than 22.

We travelled woth our dog and there were no problem. Even more – the hostel gave some gifts for our pet and provided with a towel witch we didn't even asked seperately. The room was tidy, had toiletries in a smart way (big bottles with pumps), dark curtains witch really helped to sleep.

The windows were away from the busy street but we could hear the ventilation systems during the night.

The breakfast was very nicely served and offered a high range of products to pick from, accounting for various dietary requirements. The room was clean and spacious, and I slept very comfortably.

The water pressure in the shower could have been higher - it felt like sometimes it's heating did not activate properly either.

Really amazing breakfast with many choices even before the official breakfast time (if you have to leave early in the morning). Humus was amazing. There are vegan and vegetarian options. Oat milk and regular milk. Chives to go with your cottage cheese! Really great! I also loved the shower - did not injure myself getting in and out. Very comfortable and spacious. Sauna is available. Great location.

Good location in a centeal area of Helsinki. Restaurants and shops are very close. No problem to find a place for dinner. Staff was friendly. Downstairs lounge area was nice place to have tea and relax with friend. Bed was very confortable and enjoyed a hot shower too.

The problem in Helsinki is that the hotels don't provide free parking. So it's everybodys own responsibility to find a solution for that.
