I'm totally surprised. Wasn't expecting almost all of those. Non-budget hair dryer (ionizer included), very good staff communication (guess there's nothing you cannot arrange via Whatsapp), TV with Chromecast and awesome internet connection (200/200 Mbps from my testing). Metro station is just next door, train station: 5 minutes by foot. Location is the best point of this facility but it's really hard what to pick up as the best. The icing of the cake was a NES-clone under the TV that actually WORKED and had some good time with old classics from the previous century. Well-equipped kitchen, all local stuff, even hair conditioner. I wish I had other stays like Bob's!

Only minor: ventilation in bathroom was working continuously but thankfully, its sound was similar to the white noise so it wasn't making sleeping more difficult.

The communal kitchen was excellent. Good design and facilities. Location could not be better.

To reduce the temperature of the room meant opening windows. This did not work well with being positioned immediately over a very busy road with Trams, Buses and heavy traffic for 20hrs a day AND a pub immediately below our room. Temperature control had to be balanced with noise tolerance Using the shower flooded the entire bathroom floor, which required using a provided squeegee to clear each time. A standard drainage slope would resolve much of this. Mapping provided by booking.com was grossly inaccurate and in fact directed us to the wrong location. Locals and a police officer could not assist in directing us to the accommodation. We finally got help from a local hotel concierge after over an hour (in torrential rain)

I've never stayed in a dormitory or youth hostel, so it was my first time using a shared kitchen. Bob's kitchen was very clean and had many utensils. Some food items were provided free of charge. Having a kitchen was really nice. They answered my many questions politely and immediately.The inside of the hotel is not barrier-free, so my mother stumbled many times. When she got to the hotel and saw the stairs outside, we had a hard time carrying 20kg suitcase. During the three nights and four days, the towels were not changed even once. I didn't ask for it either, and I don't wash my towels every day so I have no problem with this. If you want to change it every day, let's make a request if you like beauty. The refrigerator was better than any hotel I've ever stayed in.The refrigerator cooled well. I recommend Bob's hotel. It was great to buy beer and wine, prepare my favorite food, and eat it in the comfort of my room. thank you very much.

I couldn't figure out beforehand what I'd actually booked - was it a hotel, or a room in an apartment? Turns out it was kind of both. A long hallway with lots of rooms, but no reception. The access to the building and the room worked via a key code, and there is a communal kitchen which gives low-key hostel vibes, but without the bustling vibes that hostels usually have. Staff was in touch though to check all was well and in case there were issues, which was great. Lots of little extras in the room, including high-quality coffee and a yoga mat. Access to a fully-stocked kitchen and a gym (which we didn't use). Location is amazing. The street outside is noisy but the windows are very good at blocking out all sound. Blackout curtains helped sleep during the short nights in late June! I loved all the little touches like reusable waterbottles available in the room for borrowing, and a Polaroid camera too. Overall much more than I'd have expected from a place like this.

The room was fairly small and the colour scheme a bit bland but otherwise everything felt high quality and like the staff really make an effort to go above and beyond. There are some breakfast deals available for nearby cafés which for us weren't included but also weren't an actual great deal if you consider that the community kitchen is already pretty well stocked with a lot of things!

We were new to Helsinki and found the location perfect for the Central City. The kitchen was amazing, and the washroom adds more value to the hotel. Fazer cafe was close, also great beer-drinking pubs and taprooms. Food in the frig, teapot, and added extras. Very quiet at night when you close both windows. Small frig in the room.

Need hooks on the back of the bathroom door to dry towels, etc. The shelving area was dark and needed lighting. Possibly motion-activated lights with batteries. Taxis had a hard time finding the street. Folding suitcase stand. ( we pulled out the frig and used a chair)

During my recent business trip, I chose this accomodation due to its good value compared to other options available. My room had a comfortable bed and a spacious, modern bathroom. One of the highlights of my stay was the provision of small snacks and beverages. I particularly enjoyed the assortment of treats available, including chocolates, a variety of teas, and the cloudberry soda. I found enjoyable the opportunity to use an instant camera and to take home a canvas bag. I also appreciated the tranquility of the area despite the fact that the room was next to a main road.

While my overall experience was positive, I must mention a minor inconvenience that affected my stay: the constant and disturbing noise emanating from the ventilation system was quite annoying. Moreover, while the room itself was pleasant, the exterior of the building did not match the same level of appeal.

The location was easy to find and central in Helsinki. There are tram lines located within a minute walk if need to get further. The train station is located within a 4 minute walk and there is a shopping centre nearby. The room was clean and many goodies inside the room for you to enjoy. Quality coffee, chocolate, a tote bag, and more. There were free snacks available in the kitchen, and the laundry room had a good quality washer and dryer. The shower room is big enough, and the pressure of the shower was good. The room is Morden looking, and everything is easily accessible. Customer service is great, but we didn't have to use it. A place to store luggage is available until 11pm

I cannot recommend Bob W Kluuvi enough. My whole stay was sensational. I booked a small room as I was travelling solo and it had everything I needed and more! They thought of everything from chargers to water bottles, reusable carry bags and Polaroid cameras! I entered the room to find a bar of chocolate and a handwritten note. Everything was clean and tidy and the amenities were great! I helped myself to some bananas and oatmeal from the kitchen too. Very convenient location. Within walking distance to many attractions and right next to a tram stop. I loved Bob W Kluuvi's commitment to sustainability. When I first got there the code for my door was not working, but I texted the number that had been in contact with me and had a fix almost immediately! If I'm ever lucky to be back in Helsinki, this is where I will stay again. I would recommend to anyone.

No fancy front desk to check-in or check-out. Both are seamless. Decent size room, hand written welcome note, coffee, tea and chocolates on arrival at room Fantastic location, walkable distance to metro, tram or bus. Nearby coffee shops, shopping malls, grocery stores and stuff. Room had everything one look for the stay. Bonus common kitchen to cook own food. Common kitchen is spotless. Bonus - instant photo camera to register your memory

Landing area as soon as you open the room door is congested. But nothing we can do :-) At times, feel very warm in the room, had to open the window during snowy times to circulate the air :-) Extra cost for the late checkout is handy but could have considered a concession for an hour or so Sofa bed is comfy for kids but not for adults.

I had a fantastic experience during my stay! Although there was a slight hiccup with the room's entry code at first, Bob was quick to address the issue and provided me a new code to ensure everything went smoothly. Despite my initial concerns about the lack of a reception area, everything was taken care of impeccably. Additionally, I was thrilled to find an older model Playstation in the room, complete with one of my favorite games, Super Mario. Overall, I was thoroughly satisfied with every aspect of my stay and would highly recommend this accommodation to others.
