Location was great for the city. We walked to Elizabeth keys for coffee.

I arrived and put the cases on the trolley. I struggled getting the trolley through door on my own as hubby parked the car. Bit disappointed in this as it left a bad taste in my mouth particularly since there were valets on the driveway. I felt that because we didn't want valet parking, we were left to do things ourselves. This was the only disappointment. Fibreglass grill was nice service amazing, my beefcheeks sadly I've had better on a pub menu. Hubbys steak was good but not award winning ilike the restaurant claimed!

Breakfast buffet most foods were very nice but the hot breakfast wasn't hot. Not liking the fact to have a flat white etc you have to pay extra! The room service has a QR CODE to be able to order didn't work properly had to ring and order from the restaurant

We have always enjoyed staying at the Duxton it has always been one of our favorite places to stay.

How ever this time as is the same everywhere we noticed the big rise in the prices. One this we did not appreciate and actually we were disgusted we having to pay an extra fee when we used out visa debit card to pay for our drinks at the bar!! The hotel is obviously under new management as we have never had to pay this extra fee before and as such, we will not be booking another room at the Duxton any time soon! Also, the increase in the valet parking was $25 more than the last time we stayed at the Duxton was a little hard to swallow given that the concierge service is now not any were near a good as it used to be!

- Housekeeping was hit and miss. The housekeeper for the second half of my stay was great, but whoever was doing housekeeping during the first half was really phoning it in (not changing water bottles, soft drinks, toilet paper, or literally cleaning anything for three days in a row). It was quite frustrating. - Wifi wasn’t always good enough for video calls and I had to switch to cellular many times - The breakfast selection is not very rich and seems to be short on vegetables - No self-service laundry, and the hotel laundry prices are 10-20$ per item

We were very happy with our room It was comfortable ,clean and on floor 12 which was excellent. Great location close to river and shopping mall and within walking distance of our event at Optus stadium The lady making up the room each morning was fabulous and did an amazing job. When we walked into the hotel, it smelt so clean , appealing and was welcoming.. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

We thought the breakfast voucher was for the value of $35, not that the price was reduced to $35. It wasn't explained very clearly and caused confusion at checkout for the return of the bond. However, the breakfast was really enjoyable with plenty of variety available .

The room was spacious, with good natural light as well as excellent lighting when required. There were all the facilities I needed in the right place. Little things, like the space for the suitcase right next to the wardrobe and above the drawers, and high enough so I didn't have to bend over! Love the filtered water tap in the bathroom! Also pillow menu, excellent. Staff were very responsive to requests, never had to wait wondering if my request was lost. There was also flexibility, I was not forced to have a buffet breakfast but could get my coffee and croissant. I'll be back next time I come to Perth.

The accounting policy: Charging a credit card fee and the only alternative method of payment is Cash? Where has the CFO been these last 5 years? Immediate bank transfer? It appeared that the CFO had not heard of such a thing......retirement imminent? PS: I too am a CFO......not quite retired yet.
