Courtyard by Marriott San Diego Rancho Bernardo

I requested a two adjoining rooms. The hotel accommodated that even though I checked in much later than expected. Unfortunately half of my party cancelled on me leaving me holding the back because I was beyond the cancellation deadline. The man behind the counter upon learning of my situation was gracious and allowed me to cancel one of my rooms late into the night, even though they had held both rooms for me all day. By the way, the hotel was very nice and the room and the beds were very clean. Thank you Courtyard by Marriott.

I really don't know what could have been better. Everything met my expecations.

I liked the friendly courteous hotel staff. I really liked how quickly Maintenance came to our room to checkout the a/c and showed me that there was a thermostat on the wall when I did not notice one, it was not clearly stated that there was one, and it was not near the a/c unit. The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable. The moment I turned on the hot water in the bathroom, it was hot almost immediately and in the shower as well, that was very very nice and appreciated.

The only thing I did not like was having to pay $15 for parking when there is not a gate to keep people out. Plus I stayed on a Wednesday night and the parking lot was not full by any standards. I could see parking on Friday, Saturday, but on a Wednesday when the hotel is not at 100% capacity is ridiculous for a one night stay, I was not even there a full 24 hours.

I had a very short stay, but everything went very well. I was informed when my room was ready. Checking in and out was very easy. I liked the spacious room, large bed, sofa. Clean.

Rates seemed a little high. Maybe because of the holiday weekend. I checked in on the fourth of July.

i liked the area of the property, but the images shows online show false advertisement because the lounging pool chairs are not what they look like in the picture. they’re actually plastic and uncomfortable and there were a lot less chairs that shown online.

Staff was very helpful in completing our reservation on Dec 28 even though Bookings.com had not forwarded the reservation that I made on Dec 20. Staff also waved the two night parking fee.

Found old dried towels on the shower curtain rod from previous guest and not bars of hand soap in the bathroom.

We love this location, loved the double suite so we could have our kids with us and have plenty of room. The duck pond behind the hotel is our kids favorite! The rooms were clean and comfortable and the beds were great!

We were bummed the breakfast was closed and the ad promised a free breakfast. Also the pool and gym was closed and there wasnt any info on that when we bought our reservation. Also when going outside to see the ducks, the door cards wouldnt let us back in and we had to go around the front to get back in.

Front Desk lady was awesome and very helpful!! Don't remember her name.

Breakfast included would have made my stay better.

The room, the pool, the facility was all comfortable and the staff was exceptional.

That there was no Complimentary breakfast. you had to pay

I really didn't expect to have to pay $10 for parking the way prices are so high i feel parking should be included in the price of the stay but that just my opinion

Wonderful staff, always smiling. Isaiah was helpful and accommodating. We enjoyed the pool, our room and beautiful view of the pond. Will definitely go back again.
