Room was bright and had all the features to make your stay comfortable. It was very hot during our summer stay - above 35 degrees Celsius daily, the room air conditioning worked perfectly to keep the room a cool haven all through. Breakfast was a delight. Options were very decent and the quality of the food was great. The ambience was impressive. We parked our vehicle and used the metro system and buses often - the Rossyln Metro is just right behind the hotel so perfect for getting around.

The cleanliness of the room was my only disappointment. When we checked in, there were hair strands around the sink and bathroom. Cleaner obviously didn't do a great job. When we had the room cleaned, the housekeeper didn't return pillows and items to the bed - we came back from a long day and found the pillows on the floor!

The staff at the reception was very helpful and friendly. I enjoyed their hospitality. I had a parcel I expected for delivery. They received it and kept it safe for my collection. Their record keeping is sterling. I had two big beds in my room and stayed with my son at no extra cost.

The cleaning in the rooms was not very thorough. I noticed that cleaning was not done every day. I was okay with it. Yet when cleaning was done, I would still find long hair strains in the bathrooms and the living area (trapped on the carpet). It would have been nice to have a scrubber and toilet brush in the room to be able to clean the bathroom for myself.

We were there to tour in DC & Arlington, location was great for that. Neighborhood was within easy walking distance of lots of restaurants. A couple of nice path areas nearby also for walking & running. Restaurant hostess was very nice, valet staff were very friendly & fast.

Food (only had breakfast) was not as good as it should have been for the price. Watery eggs, meat was tough. Fruit wasn't ripe, really shouldn't have been served quite yet. Parking price was on the high side compared to what we saw elsewhere. But you pay for convenience & who wants to park away from the hotel every time, right?

We paid extra to have the breakfast buffet included with our stay and it was 100% worth it. Breakfast was hot, fresh, and delicious every day. All of the staff was very professional and courteous. The housekeeper on our floor was particularly kind and friendly, giving us extra bottled water each time we asked. I was also very pleased with how easy it was to get to the metro station from the hotel.

One very minor negative experience: we called down to the front desk to get extra pillows right after checking in. We had to call several times because nobody was showing up and we wanted to leave for lunch. We finally just asked them to be left in the room. Additionally, we only found out on our last night there that we could Chromecast to our TV from my laptop. We sat through 3 days of bad tv and commercials when we could have been watching Netflix. Be sure to ask at the front desk how to do this so you can provide your own entertainment!

Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast was delicious - fabulous choices. Very close to Metro station. Hotel has parking (valet).

Not having housekeeping tidy room each day, or even every other day. I don't expect full sheets stripped, but I miss the beds being made and bathroom wiped down, its a nice treat when you come back from long day. We stayed 3 nights and ran out of fresh towels and toilet paper (still had tissue papers thankfully) at very end of stay.

The location was convenient, near a major metro station with direct service to DC and Arlington National Cemetery. I liked having a restaurant on site, and the staff were very helpful.

I would have liked room service, but not a deal breaker. I wasn't crazy about the unending stream of touring teens, as they were quite noisy and clogging up the elevators, but I cannot fault the hotel for hosting them.

There were a few minor things needed in our room and the maintenance staff took care of them immediately. The room was very comfortable, clean, and always restocked when we arrive back from our days outings. 

I didn’t really take advantage of all the amenities of this hotel because we were pretty busy with our daily visits to the monuments and museums in DC. 

The room size was good for our family of 4 and the view was excellent. We didn't take the breakfast option so cannot rate it but there are plenty of eateries nearby for those who need something. The children loved the soundbox provided in the room :-) Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The fact that there's no complimentary water available, so we had to buy water from a nearby store.

Breakfast was good and appreciated the self service.. We were pleasantly impressed with the room. We especially loved the shower and decor of the room. Very modern, excellent temperature control, soft towels, clean & comfy linen. We felt like we were at home and not in a stuffy hotel room.

We were disappointed that the drinks were not self service. We had to flag down the waitress for drinks which weren't served until we finished our meal. For the price of the room we felt breakfast should of been included and not at an additional cost. The cost of the parking was extremely & ridiculously high.

The location is great: right next to the Rosslyn metro station which has direct lines to Dulles and Reagan airports, plus train lines downtown. It is also a short walk from Georgetown.

A staff member tried to charge me for an additional breakfast. When I checked my receipt, not only had they charged me for breakfast, they also charged me for valet parking and I do not have car. I contacted the hotel and they refunded me.
