Honestly, this is the best hotel room I have even stayed in. Amazing bed, great bathroom (lightning could not be so orange though, putting make up on was a bit of a challenge), comfortable seats by the window, and the location is great if you are visiting the city for a concert in Afas Live or Ziggo Dome, like we did. Breakfast was also very delicious, and staff were friendly, polite and helpful.

Do not get me wrong, we absolutely enjoyed our stay. However, be sure about the payments you have made. First, the hotel charged me twice for the room when I had to add a different credit card to my account. Truth to be told - I have been refunded momentarily after contacting the hotel. Second, I always choose “breakfast included” option. A few days before we arrive I received an automatic message, that breakfast is not included, but I can add it for additional charge. The same came up when we checked in. Both times I asked staff to check again, and everything was fine at the end. Therefore, I suggest to keep record of your payments.

Beds are HUUUUGE. Was lovely. And each room has a Nespresso machine and a yoga mat. Nice touches.

Check in was slow and the lobby didn't really fit the queue of people waiting to check in. Seems madness in the 21st century that hotel check-in still requires *writing your email address onto bits of paper and signing paper printouts*.

Great Location and Comfortable Stay The location of the hotel is excellent, just a 5-7 minute walk from two railway stations, making it super convenient for travel. The area is picturesque and offers beautiful surroundings, adding to the charm of the stay. The room was very clean and well-maintained. Fresh bottled drinking water, clean towels, linen, toiletries—everything was provided, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. A major plus was the Albert Heijn supermarket, just a 5-minute walk away, which was very convenient. There are also several eateries close by, offering various dining options. The hotel breakfast was decent, offering a good variety to start the day off right. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend it and come back again!

However, there’s some room for improvement in the internet connection and TV screening. The internet could be more reliable, and the TV connection wasn’t the most seamless, which could be better for guests looking to unwind in the room. Overall, it was a great experience, and with a few improvements in connectivity, it would be even better!

Very modern and stylist hotel. Excellent space in the room. Bathroom was very nice and shower was good. Staff were helpful and friendly. We were able to leave our luggage before we checked in and after we checked out. Great location, it is 2 stops from the airport and about 20 minutes on the metro into Amsterdam central. The bench/seat area along the window is a great use of space and a nice addition to the room. Tea and coffee provided was great, and the fact there was a fridge allowed us to buy stuff and store it. Really good storage space for clothes and shoes and cases. There was a concert next door when we were there and we never heard a thing, even when people left we were not woken up. Really lovely hotel, every thing was clean. Plenty of options available to have your room cleaned or towels changed or anything topped up. There was a restaurant but we didn’t eat there so can’t comment on that. Toilets in the lobby were very clean also. We loved it!

There is a coffee machine in the lobby which you had to pay for but would have been nice if it was complimentary on check in.

Location next to Ziggo Dome was excellent which was of course therefore coupled with the amazing transportation links (from Schipol to reception in 20mins by train and foot). Room was clean, very comfortable and totally functional. Good bathroom facilities and accessories. All in all a good hotel, if not luxurious then totally functional.

The daily rate was +€200 without breakfast. For a “non-luxury” hotel, that was quite high. I guess the proximity to Ziggo Dome and the Ajax Johan Cruyff stadium allows them to charge that amount as the proximity removes transportation costs to and from these venues to anywhere else.

The hotel and the room were very nice. The room was clean and spacious. We were in the 10th floor so the view was nice. I liked that the room cleaning is on demand only. I really didn't find anything wrong with the room. The location is a bit remote, however the Bijlmer ArenA station is not too far (5 min on foot) and you get the connection to the airport and the city there. At the station there is also a very nice supermarket, so if you need anything you'll find it there.

A very minor issue is the fact that the shower is at most lukewarm, so if you are looking for a hot shower you are out of luck.

Comfy bed, cleaning after two nights, really friendly staff, easy check in and check out, nice shower, amazing freshly cooked omelettes for breakfast and a great mini dutch pancake maker, opposite Ajax Stadium, coffee machine, screen mirroring, close to train station - 18mins to city centre and 15mins to airport.

Sauna and steam room not open until 3pm, towels quite small, couldn't turn shower temperature up, couldn't turn heating up, bar and restaurant a little expensive, no beans/bacon/sausage for breakfast, only eggs and continental.

The staff were incredible when dealing with my situation, unfortunately I was robbed in the city centre but the staff were just incredible, giving me free drinks and checking up on me during my stay. I have to give a special thanks to Jaimie and Ailani who went above and beyond to help me, whether that was giving directions to certain locations and actually writing it out for me on paper and explaining how to get to the location or even giving me a free drink. The manager/supervisor Irayda then said there was an atm nearby and also a bank to try get some cash for my flight home. In the morning Nooriya also helped me and explained how to get to a police station and then she helped with check out and everything. The staff were just amazing.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Jaz in the City Hotel, and it exceeded all our expectations! The location couldn’t have been better – it’s right next to the Zigo Dome, which was perfect for us as we were attending a concert. We couldn’t have asked for a more convenient spot! The hotel itself is modern, stylish, and impeccably clean. Every corner of the hotel reflects attention to detail, from the chic decor to the comfortable rooms, making it a truly pleasant experience. But what really made our stay unforgettable was the staff. From the moment we arrived, everyone was so warm, friendly, and helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The room was spacious and extremely comfortable. The bed was really lovely, with a selection of different pillows. The blackout blinds and heavy doors meant that even a light sleeper like myself got a great nights sleep! The shower was fab and the products provided smelled fab. We had ample space for our luggage and everything and the Bluetooth speaker was a great little extra meaning we could listen to our tunes whilst getting ready! The restaurant and bar was great and the staff in there were so lovely, even bringing my partner a special dessert when they realised it was his birthday! The check in staff were great and so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The sauna/steam room and fitness room are a superb extra - sadly the steam room wasn’t working when we attended but the sauna was lovely and helped us unwind after a busy weekend of sightseeing and celebrating! Loved the place and would definitely return!

Sadly the steam room wasn’t working when we visited and my only slight complaint was that the towels were rather small!
