I only stayed the one night but it was all good. The room seemed quite large for a single, the bed was very comfortable and the room was very quiet. I didn't have any food there so can't comment on that. The bar was good and I did take a look at the leisure facilities which appeared good. The hotel is just 5 minutes away from a regular bus service into the city and from the location I would think it quite easy to get out into the Cotswolds by car without getting tangled in the city traffic. Overall, definitely worth a return (longer) visit.

I was only there for one night and didn't find anything to dislike. It seems there is a £5 per night charge for car parking, which didn't affect me on this occasion, but is worth being aware of.

The spa facilities were a lovely extra and we're the perfect relaxation after a table tennis tournament. The food I had was excellent. Perhaps the starters are slightly over priced or at least what I had which was the belly pork but flavour made up for the cost fortunately.

The cleanliness was OK but I guess for the price you'd expect a touch more. It wasn't dirty by any means but the sealant around the bath was a little grubby. Very small thing hence why I didn't feel the need to mention. Didn't bother me at all

The hotel is beautiful and very modern. We were greeted the minute we walked in, and check-in was quick. The room itself was really nice, the bed was huge! Everything was clean and very tidy. We went to the restaurant to book a table for that night then went to the swimming pool. The pool isn't huge but it's so lovely, there's a jacuzzi in the centre and some other jacuzzi type pools attached to the main pool. There is also a sauna and steam room although these were quite busy so we didn't go in. The restaurant was really nice and the food was amazing. I have a dairy intolerance and the staff were so thorough in making sure that my food was cooked separately. The staff at the hotel are just so lovely and helpful. Alan checked us in and was so helpful, giving us all the information we needed. He has a great sense of humour!! There was also a lovely man in the restaurant who I think said he was the deputy manager? But he was so helpful with my food and what I could and couldn't eat. The breakfast in the morning was lovely, there was cereals, fruit, yogurts, pastries and then the hot food too. I would definitely say that you get really spoilt staying at this hotel!

The only tiny thing I can think of is the temperature of the water in the pools. I am hardly ever cold but the water seemed quite chilly and my teeth were chattering. Other than that, I couldn't fault the hotel and we will definitely stay again, if only to hear more of Alan's stories!!

From start to end, their hospitality was just great! They are very active and always looking out to provide the best service. I must say we are coming back again with our families and friends! Highly recommended.

Only thing was parking. It should be included and have peace of mind for the guests. Fair enough if you want to charge the spa members but it should be allocated free of charge for the hotel guests but rest is top class! Thank you so much.

Travelled for the weekend with my partner to surprise her for her birthday and the staff were amazing - I had a few specific requests to surprise my partner (birthday balloons, swans, petals, her favourite Greek red wine and a cake) and they delivered on all accounts! Really helped make the weekend special. Specific mention to Steven Garratt, front desk reception manager, Josh White & Jamie Ryland, for helping me arrange everything. It was much appreciated. Otherwise - hotel is in a great area. Near to the Cotswolds, so great for walks and nature if you like that, which we do. The dinner was absolutely delicious as well. We've decided to eat more dinners at hotels now because of how good it was. I had a medium rare steak, and I can't remember the last time I had a steak that was cooked just right like that. Facilities were very clean, and the pool is sizeable as well. Would easily recommend this place for someone else to stay at.

The rooms were lovely (especially the exceptionally spacious Junior Suite) and the beds were comfortable. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the swimming pool was really good to, with a relaxed bar also a highlight.

We had a great stay but were slightly frustrated to only have one key card available per room (including triple occupancy), which was also needed to put lights on. We also waited over an hour for dessert in the bar. it’s a shame that these minor, avoidable niggles took the shine off an otherwise wonderful stay.

comfortable and spacious rooms - large king-size beds -clean and comfortable. family room - single bed which is a bonus (rather than a put-me-up). benefits of the leisure pool - and jacuzzies which we thoroughly enjoyed after long journey despite coming off the M5 - this is an ideal; place for a break especially with the pool and spa rooms for added relaxation from travelling. it is also pet friendly

breakfast was well stocked but average.

This was booked as a birthday present. The location is ok but from the pictures was expecting to look out over Gloucestershire but it didn't bother me to much as the spa facilities and staff were exceptional. I have also looked into becoming a member to return more often. As Arnold says I'll be back!!

The room size was amazing. And the size of the bed was fantastic. It was the mattress that let it down. I had an uncomfortable night as the springs was sticking up out of the mattress. I approached the receptionist in the morning ( Nathan ) who is exceptional and gave me an excellent service with a discount accredited back to my account and would get right on with sorting out the mattress in the room. THANKYOU NATHAN 😀

Comfortable room of good size. Nice bathroom with plenty of hot water for baths. Great choice of breakfast items. Very quiet with lots of facilities.

Bit of a mix up of room booking but it was sorted out on arrival. We just had to wait in thd bar while a correct room was made ready with a complimentary drink. Chairs in restaurant not the most comfortable after a long journey and evening food a bit canteen like. Background music terrible.
