The location and the cost. It was also very clean and quiet.

There were no kettle or tea making facilities in the room. We booked for no window but then changed our mind and wanted a window. Unfortunately, I couldn't upgrade, which I thought was odd.

The room was clean and a good price. Staff were great as was the location, just a short cab drive from Ipswich station. The towels were useful and it was great to have a TV in the room. I was surprised at how peaceful our stay was and was very pleased with the stillness considering the high number of rooms available to customers. There was a restaurant directly opposite easyHotel with many other food outlets in walking distance. We ordered a takeaway to be delivered to the hotel without any issues. Hot drinks are available for small fee in the foyer.

The bed was hard, I only slept a few hours and could not manage more than one night booked in an EasyHotel if I were looking for a longer stay unless I could request a softer mattress. However, the type of mattress a person likes to sleep on is I think it's a personal preference. It would have been nice to have know that I could have asked staff for more pillows the way I was informed that I could ask for an iron and hairdryer.

The hotel is right in the city centre, close to shops, restaurants and a short walk from the New Wolsey theatre. The rooms were very clean and staff were helpful.

I did not mind that the room had no window and that the rooms are small. There were not enough hanging rails or shelves for me - it would have been good to have a towel rail in the bathroom on the wall opposite the shower, and maybe a couple more hooks in the main room. The one tiny shelf/cubby hole by the bed was very small and I think it could easily have been extended with a little shelf sticking out and probably a second one added above or below it. I would like to suggest adding a little shelf in the far corner at the foot of the bed also, or maybe even a fold down desk? Just a small space to work on.

As a wheelchair user, I highly reccomend this fully accesible hotel. I would like to say Thank you to the entire RECEPTION and HOUSE KEEPING staff of the Easy Hotel Ipswich.  For your professionalism, and going above and beyond to ensure that my stay was a comfortable one. As a paraplegic,  in some environments you never quite know what to expect. You all made what has been one of the toughest periods of my life tolerable. Cheers to you All!!!!

Mattress is too hard for a long stay and there's little space in the room past the bed. I'd recommend it for a shorter stay. Room was a little cold for me on a few nights and the temperature wasn't adjustable.

Staff absolutely amazing couldn't fault them liked the town as I was from Sheffield.

The price I paid was 62 pounds and to be honest I thought we'd get a decent enough room I couldn't even get into bed round the side. No kettle or table No window and for 62 pound I thought it would be a little better than it was. 62 pound is alot of money for such a small room when I saw the other rooms at 35 I thought oh 62 pound will be much better. But yes very disspointed with the room.

No frills in a good location for the town centre with stable wifi, I used the nearest NCP car park to park the car and it cost £4.95 for 24 hrs. All the staff were polite, friendly and easily approachable for any help required. Wetherspoon is just around the corner for food and for breakfasts I used Audrey’s cafe across the road.

Booked a room with windows but I was unable to open the window, I don’t think they have been opened for quite a while though the paint seems to have sealed them shut. This meant the room was airless so I had the door open most of the time. The AC controls could not be controlled in the room which means you sleep with it on all night whether you want it on or not, something to do with the climate apparently!

Central location, ample parking across the road (although you do need to pay for that), and although the hotel rooms are very very small, they are quiet, surprisingly very comfortable, and if you just need somewhere to shower and sleep, this place is amazing value for money.

Driving a car, it is very difficult to get a GPS to direct you to the road that the hotel is situated on. Plus the TV was not the best in the world. However, we were not really there for the TV, so it did not really matter.

Host was super helpful. Property is so much bigger than pictures make it look and garden is huge. There’s a lot of space for everyone - even if you had it full it doesn’t feel like loads of beds have been forced into a room like many others listed on here just to make as much money as possible. There’s still plenty of space, loads of bathrooms, kitchen is a decent size. It’s not a five star hotel sure but for a short group trip to nearby events etc you’ll struggle to find better.
