Excellent location, newly renovated, very nice modern decor. Very clean. Comfortable large bed and pillows. Very nice restaurant on the first floor with good food. Nice walk-in shower, but small. Extremely nice staff. I lost my wallet and was concerned it was stolen. The cleaning staff found it in the first floor bathroom and returned it to me with all the credit cards and money intact. Convenient inexpensive parking in the garage across the street, around $15 Euros/day.

I would have rated it a 10 except for the extremely small bathroom. My wife got locked in the bathroom for 15 minutes because the door handle fell off while I was checking out, saved by the staff who heard her banging on the door yelling for help. Very funny to me, but not her. Newly renovated rooms, the handle set screw needed to be tighten.

Auberge du Lyonnais Annecy is a gorgeous hotel located next to/inside the restaurant. The staff were so nice and welcoming! The room we had was a large size with a great window view of the Thiou. Very comfortable. Everything was walking distance. On Tuesday, we had the market open nearby. Don’t skip out on the breakfast. From the pastries to the plate, they were phenomenal. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it 100%.

It is confusing as a guest to navigate the operations of the hotel vs the operations of the restaurant. Not a deal breaker, as we still had a lovely stay and enjoyed our rooms/included breakfast.

The hotel is in the perfect location of Annecy. Modern, comfortable rooms, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, and the best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel.

The only thing I can found slightly negative is that the room TV wasn't able to connect to an iPhone/iPad for screen casting.

The hotel was in the perfect location in centre of Annecy right on the canal. Restaurant was fantastic and food was good. Breakfast was great too. Room was modern and bed was very comfortable - newly renovated rooms. They even had proper hairdryers which was awesome! Staff were wonderful and we had an amazing stay.

It was very modern and clean and very good breakfast. Loved the Nespresso maker on every floor. Great touch!

The location - we couldn’t find it as it was in a pedestrian precinct! Had to park miles away. Maybe our Sat nav took us the wrong way but we finally found it and by then had missed dinner.

There is no wardrobe in the room, only 2 hangers and very, very limited space to hang anything No full-length mirror No fridge

Location was fabulous and the breakfast was great. The staff were very friendly and patient with us learning French.

The rooms are small and there isn't really a space in the hotel to relax other than on your bed in your room.

Hotel service was great & breakfast was truly scrumptious. Thank you to the kitchen for their stylish eggs Benedict, loved it. Hotel location is great in the heart of the old town, everything was perfect.
