My second stay here so I knew what I would be staying in. The hotel is located brilliantly for train/ coach arrivals and the proximity to the town for bars and restaurants. The staff are what make this hotel exceptional - thay are all friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to book again for my next trip to beautiful Annecy.

Positive • Location is perfect (6 min from station, and on the edge of the old town ) • Helpful welcoming staff (recommendation for restaurants, using the hotel fridge, plugs for the phone charger..etc) • Clean small room, just suitable for 2 people , yet with enough place for luggages

There was nothing that i Didn't like yet there were Weakness yet NOT a deal breaker • No trash pin in the room only in the bathroom • No Kleenex in the room only toilet paper • The cups are small paper disposable • No small hand/ face towels (they don't carry them in the hotel) • 1 Outlet next to bed on one side and nothing on the other side • Although we had a nice view of the creek, homeless people were living/ sleeping under our window so lots of noise early morning 6- 7 am and late evening. • No vanity area • No minibar in the room or a safe.

Everything but especially breakfast and the staff apart from one young man with an attitude not adequate for the hospitality industry.

Once when checking in for breakfas breakfast a young man abruptly told my wife that we did not have reservation, I then replied has abruptly as he was, told him that perhaps he should check with reception, he replied, I will to only find out that we in fact had a reservation. He had an attitude not adequate for the hospitality industry. He should be told how to speak to guest. It is not what you say but how you say it. This incident spoiled our stay.

The hotel is very nicely decorated, with fancy colours and local taste. The breakfast is delicious, the bread is super fresh, pancakes tasty, everything one might need to indulge. Amazing choice of leaf tea which you can prepare yourself - great experience. Moreover the hotel is just in the centre of Old Town and close to shops or train station Hotel is located just at the River, so it is really soothing to eat breakfast with such a view.

Some staff can not speak English but overall it is still great.

The breakfast was great! There were many options and they even had me!on one morning! The location was great and there was a nice lounge area in the lobby!

The first day I arrived after a long,hot journey with changing trains,then taking a bus to Annecy.. I had a difficult time sleeping as it was hot in room and no-one explained until I asked that the AC was having problems. The second night it seemed slightly cooler.

Location to the railway station, and the town centre. The staff were extremely polite and helpful, especially Juline Thomas who was on the front desk when we arrived. When our reservation was wrong through no fault of the hotel she managed to find the only available room in a nearby hotel, and organised a taxi to get us there. Without her kindness we would have had a real problem. Thank you Juline

Entrance area outside a bit scruffy and dirty.

Like many others said, the location is ideal: easy to reach by car and directly adjacent to the pedestrian-only city center. Rooms aren't huge, but comfy and clean. I especially like the hardwood floor (since you never know what's hiding in a hotel room carpet, do you? ;) ). Staff was very friendy and accommodating.

Nothing in particular. Only one word of caution to guests with limited mobility. While the interior is very accessible, there is a ramp from the street to the hotel entrance that is quite long (ca. 20 meters) and steep. You may need some help up there. Access from the city side isn't flat either, but less strenuous.

The hotel was basic and as expected. The location was convenient for walking around Annecy.

Unfortunately there were a number of people living on the street close to the hotel resulting in noise at night (so couldn’t have the window open during a very hot few days) and the smell was urine was intense.

The location of this hotel is definitely the plus here. When I rate "10" naturally I am considering the expectations and value paid for the stay. We know this is a 3 stars hotel, where you pay little more than 100 euros per night, so my evaluation takes into account that level of expectations. Taking this into account: rooms where a little small, bed was comfortable, WC also a little small. But end of the day it works for the need. Location is just perfect. Walking distances from all major central spots. Breakfast was also ok if you get the proper level of reference here. There was always fresh water in the lobby, staff was always available and friendly.

The size of the room could be better. I little too small. Same for the breakfast area. The hotel was full and around 9 am it was a big confusion around.

We liked the room quite a bit. Also, the receptionists were gentle and very helpful. Location was superb. Everything is nearby! To the Gare, it takes less than 10 minutes of walking!

OMG, the first room, located in the end of a corridor, was soooo cold. We slept there 1 night turning on the maximum heater all night. However, it was still cold. We had to ask to change the room. The reception area is nice but it would be better to open in the back side and use more heater!! It was cold too!
