This hotel is ideally located, just a minute away from the town's most stunning attractions, and within walking distance to numerous restaurants, cafes, and shops. One of its standout features is the private parking, which is a rarity in this central area of a medieval town with narrow streets. We stayed in the family room with four beds (though we only used three), and found the beds to be very comfortable, while the room itself was spotless. We enjoyed a beautiful view of the castle right across from the hotel. The hosts were welcoming and kindly provided us with a map of the local attractions. We also opted for breakfast, which included a selection of local cheese, ham, butter, jam, and boiled eggs, as well as a variety of teas and coffee. Although we only stayed for one night on our way to the mountains, this hotel was a wonderful find. Highly recommend!

The location was amazing and our views from our 2nd floor room were breathtaking. The rooms are small and simple, but had everything we needed and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helped us navigate parking (to get to the hotel parking spots you have to call through at the chateau road block) and some train reservations. While the hill to the hotel is steep, the views and charm from the hotel's spot at the top is well worth the effort. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who doesn't require accessibility accommodations.
Rooms are on the small side, but par for the course in Europe.

Small, little Hotel in Annency City Centre, beside the Castle. The Old town is starting 1 minute away. Our room was big enough for 2 people. The beds are, typical French, not too big, but It was OK for us. The rooms do not have AC, but you can open the window at night. It was very quiet at night, even through its in the centre. You can have breakfast outside at the terrace with view over the town and the mountains. The bufee breakfast include croissants, bread, coffee, bio marmalade and more. We just missed some prepared fruits for our muesli. But it only cost 11 Euro, so that's very a fair price. There is a parking area at the hotel for max 5 cars. But there are a lot of parking areas just around which are free from 19 to 8 over night. Just ask at the reception. We would highly recommend this hotel for a short trip to Annecy!

Cozy room with a very friendly hostess and a beautiful location that is only a few minutes walk from the most famous sites in Annecy.
The only thing that was tricky was parking, which had nothing to do with the hotel. Google maps won't show you how to get there, so we drove around for a bit trying to find a road that would allow cars and not just pedestrians. Finally we figured out that there is a way, but seemingly only in going past the chateau where there are road blockers that go down to let you through. We ended up parking in the nearest parking garage, and though we had to pay a bit for the day, the hotel gave us a night ticket so that was free.

The room was clean and the staff were very friendly. The location is excellent, as you can walk down the hill and be close to shops and restaurants in Annecy. The bed was comfortable. Lots of boulangeries around for breakfast.
The room was slightly small and the steps leading up to the room are quite steep - on your way down the stairs, there is a big drop which can be a trip hazard if you aren't paying attention! While we could get a parking space, there are only around 5 spaces in front of the hotel - so it's down to luck as to whether you will get one. The property was also a bit complicated/ difficult to find by car.

The location is fantastic (note that it is in a mainly pedestrian area and on top of a hill so expect a little sweat on the walk up with luggage) but then you are steps away from the castle, all the action (restaurants, shops, cafes of the old town) a few minutes from the lake and about 10-15 min walk to the bus station. The bed, pillow & linen were super comfortable. The room was decent size for Europe. Everything clean. The fan was a nice addition given the heat wave (no AC). Staff was nice & helpful. Was able to leave my luggage free of charge.
Would have been nice to have a little flexibility for a later check-out, even with a fee.

exceptionally perfect location for Annecy, because it is at the top of the hill away from the 'bustle' of the touristy town below, but a 2 minute walk down the hill to get there. so it feels 'far away' in the best, most peaceful way, while actually being really close and super convenient to the town center. while we did not have views of the lake, our room looked onto the town and it was so charming. their terrace patio for picnics and breakfast was very charming and well maintained. the rooms are simply furnished in a tasteful Savoyard way, and very clean and cheery. the staff (it seemed family run) was very friendly and helpful. they allowed us to keep some of our perishables in the refrigerator which was very helpful.
no elevators, so be prepared to lug your suitcases up. we left most our stuff in the car and brought up only what we needed.

It was the cheapest option in Annecy for my one-night stay so I went for it and it was good. Hotel is located in the old center (a bit difficult to climb up with suitcases but I knew what I was signing up for). Hotel is nice and my room was small but comfortable and had everything I needed including kettle with tea. I was greeted by cute cat and dog at the reception - definitely added cuteness to my stay :)
Didn’t notice any drawbacks but if you don’t drive or you’re female with lots of luggage - prepare for some workout :)

I had a single room.. it was tiny. Had all I needed though and everything functioned as it should and didn't want for anything. Clean and tidy amenities. Simple breakfast was adequate, nice to enjoy it outside on the balcony with a view. Away from the main area with a 5 min walk uphill. Not difficult at all
My room faced the castle so had a great view though this also meant people constantly walking past your window and hearing the language of nations up to 7 or so at night. Not a complaint at all, just a heads up

Amazing location. Was so close to city and restaurants. We had a family room, we were able to get parking out front of hotel but it is a first come first served for the parking. There is a public parking structure close by. On arrival we did not know you have to push the button at the lights /bollards to enter the city center by telling them the hotel you are staying in. The owners staff were very accommodating with any request and let us continue to park after check out. Beds were clean and comfortable and shower pressure was great. I would stay here agin.
