Hotel is superbly placed to explore Annecy. There is a short climb up the slope from the high street, but this helps to make the hotel nice and quiet. We had the main front room overlooking the city (great view) and was never disturbed at all by the lively street below. We were lucky enough to get a parking space out front thus saving the car park fees. TIP; buzz the security BEFORE buying a parking ticket and check space availability first. Breakfast will leave you full for the day or until evening at least, plan accordingly.

Nothing, we would go back in a heartbeat.

The location is amazing! Honestly could not have picked better! Walked everywhere. Could go back to the hotel at any point to drop off jackets, shopping, or even change to go to the take! It was a charming B&B feel, with great views and continental breakfast available. Wifi in the room was great, and the fan supplied a life saver.

If you don’t upgrade to the mountain view room, you will not have space for your luggage. We had the standard double room and had to rearrange the furniture to fit our stuff in, and even then there was no room in the bathroom or to walk if you’re living out of two suitcases and two carry ons! The parking available on site is minimal, that’s not ideal! The closest free parking is a 10minutes walk. Quite inconvenient with suitcases! But we managed and were made aware by the property of this before our stay! Seems silly, but the room keys are HUGE, so they take up a lot of space in your handbag.

Unbeatable Location, well maintained facilities, friendly owners. Free parking (first come first serve — 6 spots). Paid parking nearby. We were allowed to use their dining room and kitchenware to have your own meal. We did so after we bought delicacies from Annecy’s weekly market nearby. Very good breakfast. Very comfortable bed.

Room on third floor (attic) was rather small. But we got by all right with an extra fan and slept with the windows open. Outside air was fresh and it was dark enough, with total privacy.

Charming and personable hotel in a great location at the base of the chateau. We had a family room on the 2nd floor that had excellent double (or triple?) glazed windows so it was calm and we slept very well in comfortable beds. It would probably be too hot in the summer but in the winter it was a perfect and cozy. Nicely renovated bathroom. We did not take the hotel breakfast.

The ticket the hotel provided for free overnight parking did not work quite as expected. The carpark initially charged more but were able to get it down to a reasonable rate by calling the carpark staff on the interphone.

Short walk down the lane to the center of all the action/restaurants and shops. Lake is a short 5 minute walk, and a lakeside walking trail to neighboring town of Sevrier was wonderful to get away from the crowds.

Walking with luggage from train station is only about 10 minutes, but google maps didn't walk us to the door. Location is through a main restaurant/shopping cobble stone pedestrian street, then right uphill off a side street. Vendors were always ready to help guide us, but it's a bit difficult to find.

- Gives the feeling of living in a castle (be aware of steep stairs to the rooms) - a wonderful terrasse outside - nice location (for sportives - a step road with the suitcases) - clean bathroom

- Internet was very week and access failed every 2 min. - Too few power outlets. e.g. one for two bedlamps. The extinction cord was too short and did leave the choice between one of the two lamps or the loading of the smartphone. - A street lamp shining directly into the room/bed.

It was situated very nicely right in the heart of Annecy Old Town! Staff was extremely nice, they also let us keep our luggage at the hotel while we walk around the town a little bit more. A possible useful tip when navigating to the hotel, follow the google map route into Old Town but turn to the ramp/hill when you come cross Ô Savouyard, google maps led us to the "shorter route" but it was a lot steep stairs and steep ramps.

The radiators weren't very warm but it's nothing too major! Please note that there are no elevators in the hotel, I forgot to check beforehand so please don't make the same mistake as me when your room ends being on the highest floor *cries*

The room was nice with a comfortable bed, a teapot, a shower in the bathroom. The location was at the top of the hill, and it was a good exercise, but not for all.

although the hotel is in the quiet area, I had a problem with outside noise on both nights that I stayed. There is a town viewing point next to the hotel and people hang out there: on one night-young people drinking beer and with loud rap-music and on the other night - drank people returning from restaurants at midnight. the reception was closed in the evening-night, as it is a small private hotel, and any comments in English to the loud people made them aggressive.

It was a wonderful location close to all the historic buildings shops and restaurants but peaceful and tranquil at the same time.A beautiful terrace to have breakfast in the morning overlooking the town.A leisurely walk to the Lake where you could be amongst the hustle and bustle

Well Google said a 10 min walk from the station but not when you are hauling your luggage up the very steep hills more like 45mins!! 10 mins coming down 🤗
