I stayed for 3 nights with my grown-up daughter. Ideal location for the airport & getting the tram into the city - only about 6 stops. Right beside the bus station which we caught the coach back to the airport on our return for only €15 between us (30-Direct). 3 minute walk from the hotel to the tram stop & 1 stop on the tram for the train station. Great little hotel. All very pleasant with comfy beds & exceptionally clean. Would return for sure but highly recommend.

It's not the best of areas, to be honest. Despite the hotel being very nice, etc, the surroundings were a bit rundown. It does seem to be up & coming with regard to new buildings etc. That said, we didn't feel unsafe walking around, plenty of people milling around & a fantastic location.

Great hotel with well appointed rooms of a decent size that ensured we weren't falling over each other! Comfy beds, effective air-con, enough clothes hanging space for our 4 day trip (not in a wardrobe -if you are a neat freak - I like planning my outfit from my bed!), great hot shower, a fridge and a safe (fixed to the fittings - I mention this cause last year I stayed in a hotel in Amsterdam where you could pick the safe up!). Oh and very quiet! The hotel offers a selection of mini toiletries you can pick from to minimise waste. Really great, help yourself breakfast including cooked offerings - bacon, sausages, scrambled egg, tomatoes and potato rosti. Cold meats, cereals, fruits and bread products. Fresh juices and hot beverages. I like a good hotel breakfast - this had it! The hotel is a couple of minutes walk from the tram stop which is on one of the main lines and can take you into the touristy spots in 10-15 minutes or connect you, with one change, to the new airport line - cheap too. Buy a 24 hour pass for 5euros valid from the airport too.

As the hotel is close to the main train station the view from our room was not pretty - train-lines and undeveloped land but I suspect there will be more development in this area as I believe the local authority are pumping money into Bordeaux to improve the city. I'm never in my room for long, I prefer getting out so I'm not that interested in views from my bedroom window but there was never any exterior noise. Worth mentioning the hotel is close to the Belcier Tram stop, one after Gare Saint Jean in the Gare de Begles direction but it was quite a quiet couple of minutes walk with few people around, on our return late at night! Also don't try to walk from the Gare Saint Jean, get the tram.

Really well appointed room at a very competitive rate - but well below the normal rate. Modern with a nice bar/restaurant area. Beds comfortable. air con effective and a good shower and bathroom. Choice at breakfast was really good and the staff friendly. A short walk to the Tram stop at Belcier

The television was a waste of space - no good reception on any channel. even the hotel directory didn't work. Not sure about the catering arrangement - Reception told us the snack bar would be open but the bar staff were unsure so we went elsewhere. The hotel is on the quiet side of Gare St Jean and it should be pointed out (maybe I missed it) that the nearest tram stop (Line C/D) was the one after the Gare St Jean.

Room was good, comfy and clean. The hotel has a lift, a restaurant and a bar, things we would expect in a 4 star hotel. One point that really impressed us was that I left my jacket in our room and when the cleaner checked the room, she found the coat. When we collected it the following day, from reception, all the contents of the coat were safely in place.

We were in Bordeaux to watch the rugby world cup and the hotel didn't show any enthusiasm or knowledge of the tournament in their city!!!

This property was perfect for us. We traveled to Bordeaux for RWC, property was 1 stop away on tram from main railway station (or 8 min walk - not recommended in 30 degree heat) . Meant we got on tram ahead of rugby crowd.

Nothing. Staff were lovely and very accommodating. If staying in Bordeaux for another sightseeing weekend would probably opt for somewhere closer to Place de Bourse but as it’s close to the very efficient and extremely cheap tram it was really not a problem.

Modern hotel v close to the train station. The room that we checked in to was v warm and the temperature adjustment thingy wasn't working. When we complained, a gentleman from the reception area came up, tried to fix the issue and when it couldn't be resolved, quickly moved us to another room. We learnt later that he was a Director of the hotel. Wow! that's leadership! Comfortable beds, powerful shower and clean modern decor. Easy access to trams to take you into centre of town.

The free tandem bicycle offer starts only in April apparently ..... we missed that sadly!

Location is perfect if you want to be close to Gare St. Jean. Close to tram, but tourism area is not walkable, but perfect for a one night stay near the station. Hotel is modern and clean.

They have a system of making the beds that ensures that the sheets and mattress cover comes loose, so the night’s sleep is not the best. They really should fix that. Shouldn’t be that difficult. Limited breakfast is quite expensive but you a walk to the Gare for takeout in 5 minutes. No good restaurants nearby.

Really nice hotel; modern, spotlessly clean, even had a ‘soap bar’ at reception where you could get toiletries. The staff were lovely; there are left luggage facilities and chilled water available on each floor. The shower in the room was fantastic. There is a tram stop just around the corner and the hotel is a short walk from the main rail station.

The air conditioning couldn’t be adjusted and it was a little too warm given the heatwave at the time.

The hotel seems brand new and it is very clean. There are toiletries at reception and you can help yourself to shampoo, lotion, and soap which is really nice. The hotel is about 40 minutes walk from the city center which is fine for those who don't mind walking and there is also plenty of buses and trams to get you there. The hotel is very close to the main train station in Bordeaux. Staff are very nice.

You can't fully open the windows and the aircon is not very strong. If you open the windows, mosquitoes come in and they bite!!! The breakfast options could have been improved by adding more healthy options such as low-fat cheeses and vegetables.

The silent lift, the friendly and helpful staff at reception and in the dining room ( excellent service by Maximilian), the very comfortable bed. We also had an excellent dinner which exceeded expectations.

The bathroom is a little small, kept bumping into the shower glass, and the wall, however it was clean and functional and the light was very, very bright. No English channels on tv, no CNN, BBC World News or France 24! No idea why.
