The location close to the station and tram terminus made arriving and getting about easy. The hotel was as expected, everything convenient. The rooms were small but functional - no more and no less than you would expect in a city hotel. All services were good and the reception staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms were refreshed and cleaned at your request - again, full marks to the cleaning staff. Breakfast was more than adequate with staff on hand to assist and refill as required. A good choice for a break or working visit.

Staff very helpful. Allowed us to store our bikes in the lobby under the stairs - very convenient and secure. We were able to borrow umbrellas during a downpour. Location right next to the main station is superb. It is so near we did not even cycle to the hotel. Breakfast room is bright, well laid-out and provided a very reasonable Continental breakfast with lots of fresh fruit and two coffee machines NOT RIGHT NEXT TO EACH OTHER - which obviates the usual queues and collisions!

Good central location close to the station and the centre of the city so great for exploring. The tram stops close by and €3 gives a return to the Place de la Bourse. Hotel itself is a budget property but well equipped for a short stay. No dinner offered but there are many local restaurants near the station. Breakfast was good.

The hotel offers secure parking for €7 per night. No issue with this but the 50m walk back to the front door is past a derelict building so would not like to do it in the dark. I personally had no issues but felt uncomfortable as it got dark.

The Ibis Styles was close to the train/bus station and had quite a few cafes around. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good selection and the staff always made sure everything was filled. There was even cold or hot water if you wanted to fill up your water bottle during the day. Not far from historic/old part of town.

Friendly staff. Spotless clean, new rooms. A bit small, but absolutely fine for an overnighter. Just across the street from the Bordeaux St Jean station. VERY convenient location. Normal check in as early as noon, and check out as late as noon!! A very hearty, good quality breakfast in pleasant surroundings with a great coffee machine. Great Find.

Everything was fine😊

The property for me was near the main train station. Arriving from the airport the trams I needed to take was simple to use and cropped me off near the hotel. A 15 minute took me to the river front, or you could take a ream. Cost minimal. You suited my needs. Plenty of bars near by or along the river front.

There was nothing I did not like.

One of the ladies at breakfast treated us (everyone actually) as if we were bothering her and messing up her own house. Who needs to be scolded for not using the correct cups when you're a paying customer?! The other lady was lovely.

Good location next a tram stop which gives quick access to the city centre. Secure parking available for extra cost which was good for our motorbikes. Breakfast was good and there is a very good bar just across the road.

The rooms are a little small but okay just for an overnight stay. No kettle.

Helpful and friendly reception and dining room staff. Delicious and well presented breakfast and loved the ever ready drink cooler and excellent coffee machine. Great restaurant for our evening meal very close by

The room was very comfortable, was able to drink tea and coffee at my convenince.. I loved "the bienvenue water service" as a detail. Closeness to gare and tram stop was also very helpful for the transportation. Thank you..

I didn't bring any slippers for room and bath. I asked for standard / cheap hotel slippers but there weren''t any..
