Not sure you can get a better location. they were accommodating of a late check in (1245am). Bedrooms were sizeable and has beautiful views.

The lock required some serious fiddling to get into the room. I was a Little disappointed that they had recently updated their policy that baggage storage no costs €5 per day. I was just leaving a small bag while going hiking for four days and in my experience staying in mountain hotels this is usually something they don’t mind doing. Additionally at that price I’d usually expect a legit locker instead of a room at the back of the hotel.

We are couple from Hungary and Philippines, it's our first time to visit in Chamonix and it's nice experience specially for the good stay in your hotel. Friendly staff, they are very helpful for all the queries we have, we would like to thanks the receptions people specially George he is so nice and professional on his job, and give suggestions as well for places to visit and activites to do to enjoy our vacation while we are there. 👍👍👍,. I have stayed at this hotel four times now and it has always exceeded my expectations. Superb location, but more importantly the staff are so warm, welcoming, helpful, professional and friendly. The hotel is old but warm and comfortable. The breakfasts are an awesome start to the day. The hotel is right in the centre of Chamonix so you can walk anywhere, public transport is right there and, oh, did I mention the views!!! Superb hotel. Thank you to all the staff for a lovely stay. Hopefully we will be back.

Lovely old building with big bedrooms. We had a fab view of Mont Blanc from our bedroom window. Parking available for our motorbikes behind the hotel with a security barrier. The hotel is central to Chamonix and we were able to wonder around for a good restaurant. Supermarket nearby for next day lunch provisions. Fridge in room.

The staff were not very attentive with the breakfast which meant things run out and we had to wait for them to be refilled/cooked etc. When you have a long day ahead time is off the essence. No air conditioning in the room and it was very hot.

The location of this hotel couldn't be better - very central and close to all amenities. Lovely and warm - bed exceptionally comfy! The hotel is a little 'tired' and could do with redecorating but, this is the second time we've stayed here in a year so there isn't much wrong with it!

The breakfast needs improvement i.e. there isn't a constant supply of hot items such as bacon which seems to be everyone's favourite therefore runs out first but isn't always replenished. The cooked meats are kept too cold and sometimes are actually frozen! There needs to be some fresh items i.e. tomatoes, lettuce

We recently stayed at La Croix Blanche and I have to say, it was an amazing experience! The reception staff were so friendly and helpful, and they even wrote a hand note for my boyfriend's birthday, which was a really nice surprise. Plus, they upgraded our room to a studio, which was so generous of them. The hotel is in a great location too - it's close to the bus station, train station, and loads of restaurants. There's even a big supermarket less than 50 meters away, which was super convenient. One of the things I really appreciated was the free water thermos and free coffee we received. It was such a nice touch and really made us feel at home. All in all, I would highly recommend La Croix Blanche to anyone visiting the area. The staff are amazing, the location is great, and the amenities are top-notch. It was definitely one of the best hotel experiences I've had in a long time!

Little gem in the middle of Chamonix. The location is perfect and the free coffee/ hot chocolate is a nice touch. George at the reception was lovely and made me feel very welcomed.

The smell in the room was terrible. If I had a different room the score would have been higher. I was offered another room but extremely dark and furniture was very depressing to look at , old and broken. The hotel was fully booked so I accepted it. It definitely needs some renovation.

Amazing location with views of the Mont Blanc and right in the city center on the main street too! Hotel needs a tiny bit of maintenance or update but it is really fine. Just not a luxury hotel but it could be, I loved it and so did my wife and 5 kids ages 11-19. We came from the US and it was really way above what we expected, I should have stayed 2-3 days.

Room key is old style on a big wooden thing to carry around. Sink tap was loose but worked fine. Stairs, no elevator in one part of hotel.

The view from our room was spectacular with Mt Blanc in background to street views.We also appreciated the balcony. Such a warm welcome and friendliness by Thanavallee followed by Rudy and Sabelle. Guest appearance by George:) Amira was also helpful and friendly organising breakfast. Other staff Florienne so helpful. Appreciated. We also enjoyed the lounge. The location was ideal. Centrally located and only 6 mins walk with back packs to the train station. Its a pleasure staying in a hotel with consistent helpful friendly staff. All the best to you all. The lift, but easy wide stairs were a good option. The erratic wifi on the 3rd floor. My Samsung phone worked but Linda's I phone and our computer did not on the 3rd floor. We were able to have wifi connections down stairs:)

Great location in Chamonix centre ville surrounded by numerous restaurants and shops of all types. The room was spacious and had a small table and fridge for convenience. The ski storage room on the main floor was efficient for overnight storage and easy access. The hotel had an attached restaurant for breakfast and a nice brasserie for dinner. The 24-hour machine for good coffee and tea is a great feature. On-site parking was available.
