The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The location right in the centre of Dinan was great. The breakfast was fine. The room was very basic but clean, we did ask if there were any upgrades available for which we were happy to pay more but the hotel was full. Dinan was one of our favourite towns of our whole 3 week trip.

The bed was a little hard but this seems to be quite common in France, some comfier chairs around the table would have been welcome also. The bathroom door also opened directly onto the toilet so the bathroom layout could be improved but it is an old building.

The location was fantastic, right in the centre of Dinan, without it being noisy. The breakfast options were good and our toddler liked the homemade crepes and madeleines especially! The room was quaint if a little dated, but was fine for one night's stay.

We'd hoped to use the hotel car park but there were no spaces left and we had to use the public car park at an additional cost. We did however arrive quite late in the day so not really the fault of the hotel, and the helpful lady receptionist did point us in the direction of alternative parking.

We stayed in the 1970's apartment separate from the Hotel though we were able to park in their car park. Very cool place and very private down a cobbled side street. Good quality modern fittings in the bathroom (not 1970s!) - kitchen quite limited in terms of space but we weren't cooking etc as eating out in the Town during our short stay. Breakfast was in the Hotel and was a continental style. A good range of food on offer and staff very helpful in all respects.

What's not to like ?

A fantastic Central position but very quiet. The staff were lovely The Breakfasts were good and with a fair choice although sometimes a little cramped for space but only to be expected in this historic setting. The parking is very well managed with names allocated for each space again amazing when the location is considered. My wife and I stayed in a small managed, slightly tired apartment a few steps away from the main hotel which gave us an even greater flexibility to our wonderful stay.

I was concerned that the (Very) hot water temperature control in the shower could be easily unintentionally adjusted and could cause injury.

Friendly welcome, and we arrived early. Fabulous check in, we were giving lots of information and recommendations for places to visit and places to eat. Safe car park for 10 euros per day.

Limited tea & coffee facilities in the room but it didn't matter to much because literally outside the front door is 2-4 fabulous choices for morning coffee and breakfast. Hotel offer breakfast for 12 euros per person but we opted to sit alfresco in the square outside the hotel and it was at least 30% cheaper.

location is excellent at the center of the old town. room is good. we are so pleased that we booked a hotel parking in advance.

Anne and Alexandre and all the staff were wonderful. The have a couple apartments separate from the hotel and I booked one. It was good for younger people or families (loft bedroom, with a bed, dining area, kitchen, and bathroom down), but not so good for seniors. They moved us to a 2nd floor room in the hotel that was perfect. The location is right in the center of town, they have a small parking lot you can reserve, but also have spaces in a garage two blocks away. Breakfast is good. I have an allergy and they did everything to serve me food I could eat. I highly recommend this hotel.

Wish we could have stayed longer than three nights.

The hotel is in a beautiful, old building, and is full of charming, old fashioned details. It is perfectly located in the heart of the old town. The staff was helpful and friendly and the rooms were very clean. happily there was an elevator at the hotel.

We had the window open since it was summer and there was no air conditioning, and delivery trucks and vehicles began around 6AM. It was wonderfully quiet all night until the early morning deliveries started. it seemed like the cobblestones made it noisier. on the other hand, with the window closed we heard nothing.

Wonderful location on main street of historical village. Staff spoke English and were gracious and helpful. Good breakfast. Quiet room, comfortable beds. Elevator. Room service or meals provided in the hotel even tho’ they don’t have a restaurant. Only steps to shops and restaurants. Secure parking on premises. Highly recommend!

The Hotel is nicely situated in the center and from the moment we entered, we had a nice welcome from Alexandre at the reception. The breakfast is good and worth taking to start the day with a full belly. The room we got (for 2) was big enough with a nice bathroom and ecological showerhead. We stayed there for 2 nights but should have booked longer. Surely coming back.

We stayed during a very hot week so it was quite warm in the room. We had a ventilator/wind blower so that helped cool off the room.
